So much for the “fake elector” BS. They weren’t claiming to be real electors, they were nominees for electors in the event the official slate was disqualified.
“A transcript of the Georgia Republican electors’ Dec. 14, 2020, meeting, obtained by The Federalist, explicitly shows the intent behind casting alternate electors was not to impersonate public officers, as Willis alleged, but to lawfully preserve Trump’s legal challenge to the state’s election results. At the meeting’s outset, Shafer specifically noted how he and his fellow Republicans were acting as “Republican nominees for Presidential Elector,” not as “duly elected and qualified” presidential electors.
“[President Trump] has filed a contest to the certified returns. That contest — is pending [and has] not been decided or even heard by any judge with the authority to hear it,” Shafer said. “And so in order to preserve his rights, it’s important that the Republican nominees for Presidential Elector meet here today and cast their votes.”

Additionally, Chris Christie and Mike Pence are the two candidates with the highest unfavorable rating by republican voters, -73% and -63% respectively. Respondents show their opinion worsening mostly due to Christie and Pence position against frontrunner Donald Trump.”

Interesting to see TV ads in August for POTUS nomination for Haley, Christie and Scott on TV in NH. All 3 candidates’ ads were good. Haley and Christie both positive ads focusing on issues. Tim Scott’s ads puzzled me somewhat. Focused on building the southern border wall (which is good and I agree with) and saying he would declare war and taking out Mexican drug cartels (my question is how?)

If states in 2024 will still be doing all the mail out and mail in ballots over many, many weeks…and it is true that the Ds have figured out how to game the system concerning mail in ballots…then how will Rs (Trump) win any of the key states in 2024 that he lost in 2024?
****************************
One huge way nefarious Ds could use to win elections is to ask for the voting history of people from various counties/states on teir voter registration list. (You can do that legally. As a candidate, I used to pay for the list (for a nominal fee) and .use that list to decide which voters I was going to mail my direct mail pieces to. I would mail my pieces to the voters who vote 4 ou of the last 4 elections and 3 out of the last 4 elections. And some to the ones who voted 2 out of last 4 elections.
OIf I was crooked and wanted to do illegal things. I would used that list and find out what registered voters have not voted in any of the last 4 (or 6 or 7 or 10) elections. Then I would somehow get hold of mail in ballots for those people and fake the signature and mail them.
I would also get my people to go to the polls in person to say they are “Joe Shmoe” (who has voted 0 times in last 7 elections) who lives at XXX street in X City and have them vote in place of the person wo usually never shows up to vote anyway. Then if Joe Shmoe DOES actually show up at the polls, the poll worker will check the books and say “You already voted (by mail in or in person), so you cannot vote again.”
I would also get a list (not too hard to do) of people who moved out of the state in the last 6 months before the election (BUT WILL STILL BE ON THE VOTER REGISTRATION LIST IN THE STSTE FROM WHICH THEY MOVED) and either use monkey business INVOLVING mail in ballots in their name, or else get my people to go to the polls and impersonate them and they will vote in their name. Would not be that hard to do.
Or get voters who are of my persuasion who moved from state X to state Z to have them vote by mail in ballot in State X and then vote in person or mail in ballot in state B. Back in 2020, it was discovered many months after the election that there was a considerable number of people from Ohio who cast ballots in Ohio and also voted in Florida because they spent the winter months down south.

It’s not as simple as that. The faux elector ballots were delivered to Archives for Pence to use for January 6th. By then all the legal challenges and certifications were finished. Eastman & Trump were still pushing for Pence to disregard the “legal” electors of his own accord on the morning of January 6th. That is a fact Pence has testified too. Eastman and Trump are toast.

There is even news they are chasing down men in Europe who escaped being drafted into the fight. Other than the optimistic info posted by SDC, the counteroffensive against the Russians has accomplished little in recapturing land taken by the Russians. My support for Trump is because of the following reasons:

It is a huge issue. In the 2022 election, Trump campaigned for a a lot of candidates whom he endorsed, and many of them lost. Normally an off-year election is bad for the current President’s political party — yet the Democrats did well in 2022.
The polling in 2022 was a lot more favorable to the Republicans than the actual vote. Trump seems to motivate Democratic voters to come out of the woodwork — as happened in 2018, 2020 and 2022.

In 2016, Salena Zito warned the chattering class something was coming with Trump they were not picking up in their polls and projections so sure of a Hillary triumph. Because she had traveled flyover country and heard from Americans outside our media bubbles. Now, for 2024, she has done so again.
Except what she is hearing this time may be a reverse warning. The Trump narrative on the Right for 2024 is that once the persecutions of him become so exposed and obvious, even more of Real America will rise up to avenge him in the next election and “save America.”
Not so fast, my friends. To wit from her piece:
“Log on to X, formerly known as Twitter, and you might conclude that the only thing on people’s minds is Trump or Biden. A recent Pew Survey on X users concluded that only 10% of users produced an astonishing 92% of all tweets. — and nearly 69% of those highly prolific users are Democrats, and not just regular Democrats, but far more left than your traditional liberal voter.
That was evident in my recent back roads drive — a trip that included Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin — and also last week here in Western Pennsylvania, when I visited the North Washington VFD Rodeo. In the hour-and-a-half drive from my driveway to the rodeo parking lot — through three counties that turned out heavily in support of the former president in 2020 — there was a marked absence of Trump signs and Trump flags. While that does not necessarily mean people along that drive have stopped supporting him, it does mean something has shifted: that their identity is no longer connected to him with the intensity it once was.
At the rodeo — which is always kicked off with a prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem — there wasn’t a “Make America Great Again” red hat in view, nor was there any paraphernalia for Biden or any of the other dozen or so candidates running for president…Few even mentioned politics or the presidential election. If I raised it, they often said they felt it has never ended for nearly three years.
Jondavid Longo, the Republican mayor of Slippery Rock, said he was at the rodeo to have fun and enjoy the barrel races and breakaway roping — and not talk politics. “People are just not obsessed with presidential politics; it doesn’t steer their day in the urgent way the national news approaches it. They have a lot more on their mind than what the latest polls show,” he said.
Chris Borick, political science professor at Muhlenberg College, said he is not surprised by what people are saying and he’s seen evidence of it in the indexes of polling. “There is an absolute fatigue amongst the American people regarding politics right now. It’s been, in many ways, a brutal stretch for the country in terms of politics. And for many, many Americans, there’s not excitement or energy approaching 2024. It’s more dread.” Part of that dread, people told me, is the constant news about a “probable” presidential rematch between Trump and Biden, not just a replay of one of the most vitriolic presidential races in modern history and which the loser has still refused to admit he lost, but also a reminder of a year that was pretty awful for most Americans.
If you spent your time watching the news or trolling social media every day — which is literally the job description for many national journalists — you might assume that nearly every person in the country is invested in either Trump or Biden. However, when you drive to places where the speed limit is 35 miles an hour, you find a different reality. And that’s the problem with how the country too often is covered these days. Our politics would likely improve — somewhat at least — if more in the media checked their assumptions and listened to the people they purport to cover.
There is much here to consider. Not the least of which is this: if the people in these places are as detached from the larger narrative we’re all obsessed with as this article portrays, then who is actually responding to the onslaught of “muh polls” that determines what we say, do, and think about this race? By the way, did you happen to notice one of those places Salena mentioned as detached from the larger narrative we’re all convinced is all anybody is talking about?”
Iowa, the first in the nation caucus state. Trump is trending down in the polls.

I have always liked Salina Zito’s perspective and columns. I do remember her road trips through fly-over country backroads and observations of Trump’s massive signage and support in earlier elections. While I do find it interesting she is currently noting less of it, during her excursions driving the same roads to the lead-up of the 2024 elections, there could be two reasons for such an absence of overt support – 1) less interest in politics and specifically DJT, or 2) fear of showing signage/flags supporting DJT in lieu of the punitive measures directed at Trump supporters. The Stalin-like persecution of J6 protestors, lawyers defending Trump, or anyone indicating a dissenting POV from the regime in power is vulnerable for unjust manhandling by Biden’s FBI and relentless criminal charges from his DOJ. Maybe the silent majority is simply getting larger, showing their support more in anonymous polling numbers than blatantly by wearing red hats and waving flags.
As I posted earlier, RDS’s team is throwing everything into Iowa – money, door-knockers, donations etc. – to elevate his standing and ability to win this early state. Maybe if the establishment can eliminate Trump by diminishing his appeal in Iowa, they won’t have to depend solely on all the indictments being ginned up against him to take him out of contention.

Until I see otherwise, the 14th amendment argument that Trump is disqualified from running for office is a nonstarter. Just reading the words, I think it’s a big stretch to apply them to Trump. I absolutely believe Trump illegally attempted to overturn an election he lost and then incited a riot he hoped would scare Pence and Republicans to his side, but I don’t see that as insurrection. To me, insurrection is taking up arms against the government. Trump didn’t do that and nor was he charged with that.
Of course, none of this means that competitive states that have total Democrat control like PA and MI won’t try and block Trump from being on the ballot. In fact, they might succeed simply because the Supreme Court may ultimately decide this is a political question and one in which they don’t won’t to be involved. More likely though, the Supreme Court will say the 14th amendment exclusion of Trump is improper, but only by a 6-3 vote or through some sort of convoluted majority opinion in which many concur and dissent on various parts.
Regardless, Trump is almost certainly DOA as candidate. This will be yet one more cut that bleeds him dry against Biden. I’d like to think primary voters might finally come to that realization, but Republican primary voters aren’t interested the slightest in winning. They won’t to “own the libs” and be mad. Winning has become an afterthought. Otherwise, why nominate surefire losers in 2022 like Walker, Oz, and Masters.

The Democrats have future designs on a permanent majority in Congress, mass amnesty for millions of illegal aliens, an expanded SCOTUS, nationalized voting laws, and an elimination of the Electoral College.
And Donald Trump is their ticket to that future.

Permanent Democratic majority allowing Democrats to create amnesty for millions of illegals, expand the Supreme Court, nationalize election laws, etc? Yeah, I can see a Trump nomination being the ticket for Democrats to get all that done. I’d add making DC the 51st state as well. They’ll need to abolish the filibuster to accomplish that but they came within a few Senate votes in 2021 of doing just that. Once they achieve control of all three branches again they absolutely will make another run at getting all this done. Once that happens it’s permanent Democratic Party control as far as the eye can see….and, knowing the absolute craziness of the modern Democratic Party that’s just out right dangerous – a complete disaster for this country as we know it now..
Nominating Trump again plays right into the left’s hands. It would be the ultimate GE gift to the left.. It would be the ultimate bonehead play. It would cost us the House, WH, and ultimately the Supreme Court.
Are Republicans capable of creating that kind of strategic blunder. Absolutely. We’re right on our way.

Tina has already mentioned this Zelensky replacement. What these reports continue to say about the Ukrainian government, though, is the inlaid extent of its corruption, which we are blindly funding.
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2023/09/03/as-expected-ukraine-removes-defense-minister-after-corruption-probe-next-up-in-rotation-another-corrupt-defense-minister/
(Via Politico) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced late Sunday that he will replace the country’s defense minister, even as Kyiv’s counteroffensive appears to be gaining ground with its troops pushing into Russian-held territory. [😂]
The departure of Oleksiy Reznikov as defense chief marks the highest-level turnover in Zelenskyy’s inner circle since the start of the war in February 2022. It comes as the Ukrainian government is stepping up efforts to deal aggressively with corruption allegations involving military officials.
In a video message Sunday night, the Ukrainian leader announced that Reznikov would be replaced as defense minister by Rustem Umerov, the head of the country’s State Property Fund.
“Reznikov has gone through more than 550 days of full-scale war,” Zelenskyy said. “I believe the ministry now needs new approaches and other formats of interaction with both the military and society as a whole.”
There have been rumblings for weeks that Rezniko’s days were numbered. His reputation took several hits earlier this year over a handful of wartime scandals in the Defense Ministry in which officials were accused of profiteering. While Reznikov was never implicated, the revelations were a black eye not only for his ministry, but for him personally.

The Dems would not be deploying their extreme type of lawfare if their intention was to give Trump the nomination, so he could bomb out in the GE. They fear his unpredictability, his nastiness, his ability to survive unprecedented personal, politically motivated attacks against him, and most importantly the loyalty of a base that includes almost every demographic faction of the country.
Also, IMO, the importance of Trump succeeding, is being able to win despite the tons of toxic lawfare being generated against him 24/7, neutralizing much of the “swamp” environment being perpetrated against those who dissent, around the country. The resulting message will be that government should be structured around serving the needs of it’s people rather than the fickle interests of establishment politicians.

Many people have observed he’s changed from being a remarkably competent governor to a remarkably incompetent presidential candidate. It would have been more beneficial for him to complete his 2nd term as governor, as he promised, and waited until 2028 to seek the higher office of president. Glenn Youngkin is doing this, perhaps learning from the debacle of the current DeSantis premature presidential run.

The Democrats aren’t deploying their indictment strategy because they fear Trump will win a GE and they think they need to put him in jail before the November election. Even if he is convicted (he will be. DC, Atlanta and Manhattan venues practically guarantee it). Appeals make jailtime an impossibility before November 2024) They want him running on the Nov ballot as a convicted felon with a campaign that is broke both guaranteeing he loses massively and pulls down Republican House, Senate, and Governor candidates along with it. At that point there will be nothing to stop their radical agenda.

The new Ukrainian defense minister is a Muslim Crimean Tatar. There are 300,000 Tatars in Crimea, and they been subject to repression by Putin.
“Dzhemilev said Crimean Tatars are bearing the brunt of the Russian occupation. They account for 13% of the peninsula’s population, but he said 85% of political arrests and illegal searches were targeted against them. Crimean Tatar activists have disproportionately been the victims of kidnapping and disappearances. Dzemilev said 49 activists were missing and only eight of their bodies had been found so far. Political leaders and dozens of activists have been jailed.
Despite the level of control and persecution, Dzemilev said if Crimean Tatars felt liberation was close, the ranks of the partisans would grow significantly. “At the current moment, around 1,000 young men are ready to take up arms as soon as the Ukrainian army arrives, if they are able to get the weapons,” he said.”

How important are IA and NH to being the eventual Republican nominee?
Very, very important.
In 2020, Trump was the clear winner in both IA and NH, and the nominee.
In 2016, Trump came in a close second behind Cruz in IA, won NH, and the nom.
In 2012, Iowa was split between Romney and Santorum. Romney won NH and the nom.
In 2008, Huckabee won IA, McCain won NH and the nom.
In 2000 and 2004, Bush won both IA and NH and the nom.
Winning in IA and NH gets you the nomination.
Trump has essentially written off both states, and shows no signs of actively campaigning.
Instead, he’s done his usual pro job of antagonizing anyone who can help him.
Vivek is making the rounds, as is Mike Pence. Both appear to be putting in sincere efforts.

Given the fact that the FBI and CIA were aware of and in touch with known Nazi Ukrainian spies at the US Capitol on J6, what I have uncovered and exposed is enough to exonerate President Trump and end this phony J6 committee WITCH HUNT once and for all!
The FBI and CIA have covered up the fact that Ukraine committed an act of war against the US on J6 2021 because they are using Ukrainian Nazis and spies to carry out a color revolution in the United States for the sake of preventing Donald Trump from being in the White House as President ever again.
From Charlottesville, to the first impeachment of Donald Trump via Vindman, to J6 and the current pop up Nazi rallies across the US in key swing states, it all traces back to Ukraine Nazis who are being protected by and funded by the @CIA AND @FBI!”

Now that I have exposed Ukrainian Nazis working with the CIA and FBI, let me show you how this isn’t a one time thing, and let me show you how our government is working with Ukrainian neo Nazis to instigate conflict in America and recruit for White Supremacist movements both domestically and internationally.
On Jan 6th, 2021, a known Ukraine Neo-Nazi spy was identified in front of the U.S. Capitol, and additionally confirmed to be a Ukrainian spy by the FBI in an interview with January 6th Defendant Jacob Chansley @AmericaShaman, also known as the Q-Anon Shaman.
I personally spoke to Jacob, and he confirmed to me that the FBI told him during an interview with him and his lawyer that the person he was pictured with at the Capitol on Jan 6th was in fact “a known Ukrainian spy”. The FBI asked Jacob Chansley if he knew the Ukrainian spy. Jacob didn’t know who he was, and said the man approached him and asked for a photo.
The FBI knew of a Ukrianian spy outside of the US Capitol on J6, and yet this was NEVER reported or even mentioned to the J6 Committee. This same Ukrainian spy who was identified by the FBI has been identified via facial recognition technology as Sergai Dybynyn, a neo-nazi who works in Ukraine.
Despite the picture with Jacob Chansley being taken at the front door of the U.S. Capitol, the FBI has never placed Sergai Dybynyn on their January 6th most wanted list, and he has not been arrested over J6 like @AmericaShaman was. Jacob Chansley was arrested and incarcerated, and yet Sergai Dybynyn, the U.S.-Backed neo-nazi still runs free with the help of the FBI.
Interestingly enough, Sergei Dybynyn was also once photographed with John McCain and @LindseyGrahamSC.
Is our Government using Ukrainian spies and Neo Nazis to instigate political conflict and falsely accuse Trump supporters of being white supremacists?
Let me remind you that there is also documentation of Ukrainian Nazis being present at the Charlottesville March, which @JoeBiden infamously used to launch his 2020 Presidential campaign by using false claims that Donald Trump said Nazis were “very good people”. This lie was used to launch a massive cancel culture campaign aimed at Trump supporters, and it opened the door for the DOJ to accuse Trump
I believe that I have uncovered something massive, and I just happened to be in the right place at the right time this weekend in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Our government appears to be using Ukrainian Nazis and American Nazis as confidential informants to recruit more Nazis to fight in the Ukraine-Russia war. And by doing so, they are endangering the lives of American Citizens and compromising our national security.”

NEW: Some Republicans Worry that a Trump Nomination Could Bring Steep Down-Ballot Losses for the GOP – The Messenger
– There’s nothing stopping the candidates running against Trump to actually campaign against Trump and tell the voters why the conman shouldn’t be the nominee.
Alas, DeSantis and the others have chosen to follow the strategy that Jason fraud prefers. Say nice things about the four-time indicted idiot and hope voters just grow tired of the man they haven’t grown tired of for eight years,

Reading SDC’s views of the Ukrainian war is a night vs day analysis of what the majority of news outlets report. The so-called counteroffensive is referred as a “meat grinder” for Ukrainian youth. The death tolls mounting up, in the last 3 months, are staggering as well as the losses of equipment. In order to keep aid continuing from the west Ukraine is striking civilian targets, calling them military ones. With the firing of its Defence Minister, there is additional suspicion being aroused as to where our billions of aid is really being spent. In the meantime those saying Ukraine is running out of willing young men to fight seems more authentic than those saying everything is going well for Ukraine, with morale being high.
Ukraine’s Rada parliament is considering a bill to suspend draft deferments for 180,000 students over 30 years old. Ukraine has expanded the eligibility for the military draft to include chronically ill and handicapped males, including the mentally disturbed. Poland has started deporting Ukrainians that are eligible for the draft, as TGP reported.
I momentarily expect to hear from bitter, Jason or SDC that by stating different stats and information, from how they see this Ukrainian war, is siding with Putin. Sometimes truth is disbelieved, disavowed in order to keep what they want to be true alive.

I don’t believe either federal indictment is politically motivated. He broke those laws and he, just as you or I would have been, deserved to be prosecuted. They have Trump dead to rights on the illegal retention of documents. He wasn’t supposed to have them, but, out of arrogance and the stupidity of listening to non-lawyer Tom Fitton, he kept them. Despite that, the government gave him multiple chances to return the documents (something they wouldn’t have do for you or me) and, like the idiot he is, he repeatedly refused.
I also believe he will be found guilty of the federal charges made against him for his efforts to overturn the election he clearly lost. Again, it was his own stupidity that got him in that position. He refused to accept the reality that he lost and, instead, chose to listen to cranks and kooks like Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell. He tried to illegally overturn the election he lost through corrupt actions. Had Trump been a Democrat (in reality he is), you would have demanded he be prosecuted.
On the other hand, you have decided that, so long as Trump pretends to be a Republican, you will say anything said or done to him is politically motivated. And even better, in 2028, you will once again say Trump is awful and has ruined the party, but you will vote for him if he’s the nominee. That’s your prerogative, but Trump’s rise in politics has been on the backs of people who have repeatedly been willing to look the other way simply because they think anyone who claims to be a Republican will do.
I hope Trump spends the rest of his life in prison. I know that’s unlikely, but his criminal actions require it just as you would have said had the person who had done these things was a Democrat.

Illegal aliens
Checkote (on the old HHR) used to insist that illegal aliens cost us nothing.
In reality,
today of the news I heard where MA is spending $45 MILLION a MONTH on the 6,000 illegal aliens that got shipped to them from TX and FL.
That is $7,500 per month, per illegal. Sounds high, but…
Gotta provide them housing, food, clothing, transportation, health care, probably give them a “free” (to them) cell phone, plus policing, judicial and jail costs.
What does it cost to house one illegal alien in a hotel in MA–$100/day?
(which would be $3,000/month).
For illegal aliens of school age (up to age 21) public education will cost somewhere between
$1,000 and $2,000 per MONTH, depending on the state.
NYC reported that one illegal alien from Venezuela that was shipped there at the end of July has been arrested 6 times so far on 14 charges, including assault on a police officer. I am sure the government is providing that fellow a “free” (to him” public defender.

“However, the exodus of refugees fleeing east Ukraine inadvertently created a Jewish renaissance in the country’s western regions. Synagogues in major west Ukrainian cities, such as Lviv, have seen skyrocketing attendance and increased community solidarity.
Considering Russia’s narrative that west Ukraine (and Lviv specifically) is a hotbed of Nazism, this is both ironic and a powerful rebuke of the Kremlin’s propaganda.
The rage these refugees feel toward Russia has been echoed by the nation’s Jewish intelligentsia. In November, 111 Ukrainian Jewish leaders signed a public letter calling Ukrainian Jews victims of Russian war crimes and denouncing Putin’s destruction of Holocaust memorials, synagogues, and Jewish cemeteries.
Those who believe that Ukraine is full of Nazis should listen to these Jews, who are natural experts on this subject.”

However, General Flynn takes the allegations seriously. No wonder the Bunu zanies want Flynn as VP. He passed the fruitcake test:

Makes great sense and my first question is where is the Florida Department of Public Safety and @GovRonDeSantis and his office on this issue.
If I were Governor, I would have an immediate APB out on this guy and as a minimum, be looking to boot him out of Florida or have him arrested.
If @LauraLoomer is right about the FBI/CIA connection (which I fully suspect is 100 percent solid Intel), both these organizations need to be booted out of the State of Florida as well for placing the citizens of Florida at grave risk.

Agree. I am unimpressed with several of the criminal cases against Trump. But any time you go before a jury it’s like rolling the dice.
And he appears to be burning through money to cover legal fees and costs, which will get much higher if/when he goes to trial. Given Trump’s proclivity to file bankruptcy cases, imagine his attorneys are demanded money up front.
This is more and more looking like a future train wreck. It does not help that Trump has episodes of going bonkers where he demands the Constitution be suspended, and he be installed as El Presidente. Then you look at his opponent, whose dementia protects him from being held responsible for the sleaze and corruption of his slimy family.

Nominating Trump in 2024 is going to be the biggest “own goal” in American political history. Biden is as beatable as any incumbent president has ever been at this stage of a presidential race since Hoover in 1931. Even Carter and GHWB, who both lost, still had approval ratings at or above 50% at this point in their first terms.
Yet, the Republican base, aided and influenced heavily by talk radio and FoxNews primetime, has decided that losing with Trump is better than winning with someone else. While not a perfect comparison, this is reminiscent of Democrats in the late 1960’s and 1970’s who had as their battle cry “NDC” – November doesn’t count. For them, intraparty squabbles were more important than winning and governing.
Well, I think it’s safe to say the last thing Republicans worry about these days is governing. Otherwise, the party wouldn’t be in the cult like grasp of a charlatan conman who already cost the party total control of DC once. Trump support is an emotion and nothing more. It’s about boomer rage that the country is changing and it’s about way too online Gen Zers who think social media and owning the libs is real life. Normal people despise the man.
So when Trump loses because normal people want nothing to do with him and Democrats ram through every wish list item they’ve had for the last 40 years, just remember that supporting Trump above all else caused it. Many of you had multiple chances to throw Trump overboard, but you decided hating Democrats was more important than winning.
With Trump it wasn’t hard to get tired of all of the winning because the party never won with him as the official leader.

I put this squarely on the shoulders of the Republican consultant class. They’re the ones telling their candidates not to attack Trump in even the slightest way. Since the 2016 candidates only made meager attempts once it was too late to stop him, the consultants believe it won’t work now.
It used to be that politics and campaigns were about persuading people to believe something they may not have previously thought. Now, consultants believe voters are immovable. They take a poll on a person or an issue, get the result, and assume no amount of persuasion can change minds. Thus, the view among consultants that campaigning against Trump won’t work. But is that true?
Trump is an old man, his campaign and superPACs are running low on cash, and he’s facing four criminal trials. Yet, no one has even tried to run a negative campaign against him. I was not a fan of Romney in 2012, but does anyone think he and his affiliated superPAC would have gone easy on Trump? Of course, not. They would have blistered him and it would’ve worked then and it will work now. Negative ads backed by substantive and sustained media buys always work.
Unfortunately, strategists like Jeff Roe (who runs DeSantis’ superPAC) get paid whether the candidate wins or not. And specifically, to Roe, he is also a guy who has played footsy with Trump in the past so he may not be al-in with DeSantis. They were even rumors this Spring he could bolt for Youngkin if he ran.
The candidates do what their strategists tell them to do. And until one of these strategists tell their candidate to go hard at Trump, it won’t happen. Democrat strategists will have unplowed turf on which to operate the moment Donnie is the presumptive nominee.

Did any of you actually read the Daily Mail piece, or just glom onto it’s salacious headline, using that to mock Trump. Well, I did read the entire article, and what I took away from it was Trump’s admiration for the late Queen Elizabeth. From that praise for the late Queen he voiced his disdain for Meghan and Harry because of their disloyalty to her, hence a rather cavalier call to debate her, probably as a way to defend his royal friend from the gossip generated by Meghan and husband – all spontaneously said on a DC radio show.
It’s becoming increasingly bizarre how disparate some posters are to join the left (and Robbie), reporting any and all irregular, mostly misinterpreted, Trump comments – ironically an unfair ploy JeffP accused others of doing with some of RDS’s responses.

If Biden “cared” about the country, he would announce he is not running for a second term.
However, in a way Biden might be doing the best thing for the D party (but not the country) by continuing to run. The Ds have very short and viable bench concerning someone to lead the top of the ticket.
Kameltoe Harris?
Newsom, who would like to Californicate the nation?
Sen. Cory Booker?
Sen. Elizabeth Warren?
RFK, Jr.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, who is so far left he does not even call himself a D, but a Socialist?
And of course, there is always the well-spoken and visibly attractive Sen. John Fetterman…
_____________________________________________________________________________________
If Trump “cared” about the country (and what he claims to believe in), he would announce he is no longer running for president.
***************************************************************
But Biden will dawdle on, and Trump will continue to run and use his voice (and money) to flame throw any and every other R candidate (or anyone who supports any other R candidate) and vile name call and try to DQ them–even those who support 90% of the same policies as Trump and have pretty good track records of accomplishments. And Trump will continue to make the election about the 2020 election and about DJT instead of about the half dozen or so issues that are more important in the minds of typical Americans.
If Trump cared more about country, direction of the country, sensible policy, the Republican party, and defeating Joe Biden and stopping leftist national policy insanity he would announce he is not running, encourage his “followers” to support the best and most conservative and most electable candidate for 2024. All of those things are more important than Donald J. Trump. But not to DJT.
The primary voters are the coaches.
Sometimes, when your starter has lost his stuff and is no longer effective, you have to pull the worn-out starter and bring in the best you got from the bull pen. Or else prepare to get hammered once again by the opposing side and go down to another humiliating defeat.

While Robbie’s main sport is digging up Trump dirt & digs, SDC is fascinated with border and sovereignty problems overseas, my focus, however, has been on an increasingly crumbling, unsafe southern border. I was watching video shot by Todd Bensman, the best independent journalist covering this area, filming thousands crossing over at night, purportedly collecting somewhere between $2200-$4400 of aid, depending if parents split up, each taking a child which would then double their Biden benefit. This is more than the average SS or Medicare sums citizens receive. Bensman’s recent book, Overrun, details the foreign invasion that most media is ignoring, and apparently many of you as well.
Another facet the media and people here are not discussing much is our sudden acknowledgement of a $2 trillion dollar debt, with interest payments accounting for a large swath of our budget. One economist has already said we have gone beyond the point of no return, and yet we continue to cast our attention and tax payer dollars elsewhere.
In the meantime LT Col Tony Shaffer was interviewed this afternoon, talking about the latest Ukrainian billion being promised by our SOS, reminding people that Ukraine, before the war, was the most corrupt country in Europe and not much has changed. He went on to remind people that in 3 weeks the rains would be coming, turning the Ukrainian/Russia conflict into a mud hole with tanks, resembling last weeks Burning Man fiasco.

Obviously, going to the Royal Funeral was appropriate and Biden did so. Trump complaining that Biden did not go to Charles’ Coronation speaks volumes about Trump’s sense of priorities and view of America.
Jill Biden went to the coronation as a representative of the U.S. (Prince Harry asked to ride back to the U.S. on the government plane and was denied) Beyond that, no additional taxpayer money should ever be spent for a President to travel to attend a coronation of any foreign monarch. Such a thing has never been done before and no President should ever do it in the future. This is something Trump is actually choosing to complain about as he claims he would have at taxpayer expense personally gone on Air Force One to watch them put crowns on Charles and Camillla’s head.

🚨🚨 EXCLUSIVE LAURA LOOMER INVESTIGATION🚨🚨🚨
I have conducted an investigation and I believe that for the sake of National Security, public interest and now my own personal safety I need to immediately release and publish what I have uncovered about the United States Government’s involvement in recruiting violent American Nazis, White Supremacists, and domestic terrorists and turning them into mercenaries and confidential informants in Ukraine to fight against Russians and kill civilians.
Upon their return to the US, some of these Nazis are now engaging in perpetuating hate crimes and other felonies in the US, and they appear to be protected by our government from serving prison time, have received delayed prison time, and even reduced prison time.
As many of you saw, this weekend I stumbled upon a Nazi rally in Altamonte Springs, #Florida where I encountered 50 Swastika flag waving #Nazis affiliated with “Blood Tribe” and “Goyim Defense League” (GDL).
One of the individuals in attendance who I filmed at this rally on 9/2/23 is a US Citizen and Nazi named Kent “BoneFace” McLellan. At the rally, he was Seig Heiling while screaming SLAVA UKRAINE. His whole entire body and face is covered in tattoos, including many Nazi tattoos.
As I have exposed, he is a Nazi who has traveled abroad to Ukraine to fight in the Ukraine-Russia war. He is an American citizen who was recently given Ukraine citizenship.
I have overwhelming evidence that Nazis who are being backed by our government have not only murdered civilians overseas, but they have also been engaged in war crimes. In the case of Kent “BoneFace” McLellan, who resides in Florida, he is a Nazi, a domestic terrorist, and a violent felon who was arrested in Florida in 2012 by the FBI. He was put on the US terror watch list, and then in 2014, he was recruited by the CIA, and the DOD reportedly paid for him to travel to Ukraine in 2014 to join “Right Sector”, and then the Nazi Azov Battalion in 2022, which our taxpayer dollars are now unfortunately funding.
Upon his return to the US circa 2022, I have discovered via my investigation that McLellan received a US Army Expeditionary Medal for his “services” in Ukraine. My investigation has uncovered
Social media posts he posted in which he posed for a picture, in Ukraine while wearing an Azov Battalion uniform, next to the dead body of a civilian. The image, which I sent to a forensic analyst for verification, has been authenticated.
Why is the @JoeBiden Regime funding Nazi death squads in Ukraine with US taxpayer dollars?
I received a phone call from Kent BoneFace McLellan at 1am last night after someone leaked my personal cell phone number to him, and after he was seen saying “we have a visual on Loomer” on a HAM radio he is not licensed to operate. He published that video to his Twitter account and tagged me.
During the phone call I had with McLellan last night, he gave me confessions of various crimes.
Here is the evidence of what our US government is doing in #Ukraine. These are WAR CRIMES.
I have a responsibility to share this damning information I have uncovered with the world.

Malloy was actually born in the middle of nowhere:
“Straddling state Route 318 in Lincoln County, Nevada, about 100 miles north of Las Vegas, is the desert community of Hiko — population: 100 — where Maloy and her five siblings were raised in a mobile home trailer.” She actually became a soil conservationist.”
Also she got a law degree at BYU and went to work for Congress member Stewart, who endorsed her. She played a major role in the gay rights compromise the LDS Church supported:
“Over the last four years, Maloy assisted Stewart on his Fairness for All Act, a bill attempting to balance LGBTQ rights and religious freedom, and worked closely with him on legislation to improve the federal government’s stewardship of the West’s wild horse population and funding for crucial infrastructure projects in rural Utah communities.”
Edwards was not a good fit for the district, nor was more right-wing candidate Bruce Hough, who did not make it out of the Convention.
