I cannot believe this could actually happen:

    “BREAKING:

The Free Russia Legion, made up of Russians fighting on the side of the Ukrainian Army, has crossed into Russia in the Belgorod region and has taken control of three settlements Kozinka, Glotove, Gora-Podil

Heavy fighting is taking place for control of Greyvoron.”

    “@wartranslated
While the situation is still developing, the incursion into the Belgorod territory today reminds me of the raids a few months back, but with several major differences.

The attack is much more brazen, a larger number of combat vehicles are being used this time, with much heavier artillery and mortar support. It is also being conducted in broad daylight, and drone footage is immediately being published online, to reach the maximum psychological effect.”

In the previous incident, we began finding out details when forces were already withdrawn, and the attack began early in the morning when it was still dark.

What is also interesting is that both “Russian Volunteer Corps” and “Free Russia Legion” have left their marks today, they could potentially be operating in two separate areas (Legion in Dronivka, RDK in Grayvoron).

I just can’t take his drama anymore and his childish my dick is bigger than yours approach to life. I tune him out now. Antidotal I know… but my daughter works in our VERY conservative red state AG office and no one in that office wants Trump. Most support DeSantis and a couple Vivek… who she and her boss spent the day with last fall. Most are all former Trump supporters (except my daughter) and not RINOS. In fact I don’t know anyone in my other circles either. We will see I guess.

I tend to agree. Do not believe DeSantis will be taken seriously as a contender until he formally announces his candidacy.

Given Trump’s age (and obesity) and legal problems; there is an outside possibility he may not be a candidate in 2024. I do not see a downside to DeSantis running. He can withdraw if his campaign goes nowhere. It’s better to play in the game, and lose, than hide on the sidelines.

  55. Trump was a good President. I will never understand why he made no effort to try to appeal to moderate and Independent voters while in office. That does not mean caving in on whatever his beliefs were. I know the MSM was relentless but other Presidents handled MSM pressure of their day. Lincoln was mocked as a hick and baboon and heartless for war casualties. Reagan was portrayed as just a dumb actor.

But Bitter, the Deep State……Zzzzzzz. Lincoln had to deal with 11 states seceding. Reagan had to deal with a Soviet Union pledged to “bury” the US.

It’s not too deep… just a bunch of unelected corrupt Woke Commie Dem bureaucrats and they don’t have any state authority because they are part of the Executive Branch and the President has little used the constitutional authority over them. Vivek makes a great constitutional argument regarding this Presidential authority.
