DEMOCRATIC (DSA) Party Platform:

Strip Americans of all their hard-earned resources and retirement savings, forcing them to live hand-to-mouth, and then replacing Americans by blowing all that money on illegals brought in from every cesspool country in the world; resulting in the USA becoming a third world country dominated by crime, injustice, and corruption.

Wednesday Polling

OHIO – SENATE

🟥 Husted: 44%
🟦 Brown: 47%

Suffolk 10/21-10/26; 500 LV

NYTimes/Siena is going with the Blue Tsunami narrative, but even they couldn’t give Nixon a rescue poll:

MINNESOTA – SENATE

🟦 Flanagan 54
🟥 Tafoya 40

SOUTH CAROLINA – SENATE

🟥 Graham Nordone 48
🟦 Andrews 48

FLORIDA – SENATE

🟥 Moody 50
🟦 Nixon 44

The Citadel has better news in SC:

🟥 Graham Nordone 43
🟦 Andrews 39

Finally, the worst gas lighter in Florida, St. Pete Polls has essentially conceded the races there, and remember they put their thumb on the scale for 8 points skewed to Harris two years ago:

FLORIDA – SENATE

🟥 Moody 49
🟦 Nixon 44

🟥 Donalds 48

Uh oh. I changed my mind and gave notice. Boss is pissed.

The main factor was there are 2 partners in their late 60s and 3 associates (including me). That means I am essentially funding 1/3 of their semi-retired lifestyle. I don’t know if my current firm will be in business in 2 years. The new firm is larger and does not seem to be going anywhere. I am 58 and don’t want to be looking in 2 years.

CRACKS FORMING: James Talerico’s Dallas firewall — the massive vote margin he needs to offset GOP dominance in rural Texas — is showing real signs of weakness heading into Tuesday’s Senate vote against Ken Paxton. On-the-ground conversations with Dallas voters reveal an enthusiasm gap that should alarm the Talerico campaign. Lifelong Democrats are lukewarm at best, with one immigration attorney and longtime party voter saying flatly, “This isn’t like when Beto ran.” Even more troubling for Talerico: early voting in the Black community, long the bedrock of Texas Democratic politics, appears to be lagging. A GOP consultant told Fox News Digital Black turnout “looks like it is down” — a potentially devastating signal in a race where Talerico needs to rack up major numbers in Big D. Moderate suburban voters are also peeling away. One mom who previously voted for Democrats told Fox News Digital she can’t back Talerico: “He just says so much crazy stuff, it’s too much for Texas.” If Talerico can’t deliver in Dallas, Paxton may have enough red-county votes to finish the job and help hold the Senate for Republicans.

reports via two sources familiar that there is an ongoing DOJ “aggressive criminal investigation” into Daniel J. Sullivan appearing on the ballot for US Senate in Alaska, and the investigation has intensified in the wake of the bombshell NYT report today. DOJ sources tell David that multiple grand jury subpoenas will be issued in the coming hours and days, and there are preservation orders to cell phone companies that are being prepared regarding text messages and emails that may build a timeline for how Daniel J. Sullivan was placed on the ballot. The investigation is being handled by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Alaska and federal prosecutors are interested in potential charges relating to the depravation of rights of Alaska voters. The investigation is expected to go beyond Election Day and has been underway for several months.

Palestine has never been an independent, sovereign country in history, though the name has existed for nearly two millennia as a geographic and administrative region.

    • Ancient and Roman Eras: The term “Palestine” comes from the Roman Empire, which renamed the province of Judea to Syria Palaestina in 135 CE to weaken Jewish ties to the land.
    • Empires and Mandates: Over the centuries, the region was ruled sequentially by various empires, including Byzantine, Islamic caliphates, the Crusader Kingdom, the Mamluks, and the Ottoman Empire (1516–1918)
    • British Mandate (1922–1948): After World War I, the League of Nations placed the territory under British administration. During this period, it was known as Palestine, but it was a colonial mandate, not an independent state.

    Question for you.

I get your rationale for tracking FL votes.

But do you think FL having a sizeable retirement age population of folks who move there from elsewhere after retiring might skew the vote totals somewhat?

  104. I have accepted a proposal by the founder of the excellent and ever expanding local drug recovery treatment facility to be on the board of directors. My son is not in this residential treatment facility. This facility has done wonders to improve things here and a very high success rate. Multi faceted approach.

They will vote on proposed candidates in Dec. And if approved I would start serving on the board (unpaid position) in January.

Two proposal I will make are to provide drug rehab residents at the recovery village to have a library of enjoyable and easy reading books to have access to (like Phillip Gulley’s wonderful, humerous and uplifting books), and for steps to be taken to provide those in rehab to have some social networking to provide them with access to positive groups of people their own age who they can have good and positive interaction with. I know the LACK of that has been sorely missing in my own son’s recovery program and we feel it be helpful for him.

I have also thought about having things there for those in recovery to explore their creative side–guitars, woodworking, jewelry, making things with their hands, writing, poetry, etc.

    ******

We just leaned today that the oldest son of good friends of ours, and the son had been struggling with drug addiction for many years but he was not in the recovery program, committed suicide. So sad.

Parents are devastated. He was high on drugs, including crystal meth, over the weekend and during the span of the weekend, shot up his apartment, shot up his borrowed van, shot and killed his own dog, threatened to kill others, then shot and killed himself. My wife was on the phone with the mom for over an hour this morning and went to visit this afternoon. He was about my son’s age.

Drugs continue to be such a scourge on our society today.

He has a TV on every 5 minutes accusing the Dem Stelson of hiring illegal perverts to campaign for her, and for exposing herself naked to minors in her neighborhood. He has a picture of trans Rachel (Richard) Levine (Asst Sec of Health under Biden) and says Stelson calls him a “her”.

He also says she will raise social security taxes and open the borders.

Stelson has a lame response immigration ad, where she says “illegals should not get benefits” and “violent illegals should be deported”. Comes through as fake.

Thank you for book offer. Your book would be great for recovery people. Read and see how other people also face other serious problems. Lose thrmselves in that kind of read.

Plus your book is easy reading and lots of humor. People in recovery need something to make them smile.

  118. ”Sounds like we will just bunker down with our stash of water, beans and spam.”

You need to upgrade your stash, Paul, that’s for long term all hell breaking loose. In the interim, you should have plenty of fresh and frozen meats (Jason can steer you in the right direction), and a generator to keep your freezer running. Meats are fine on an open fire or, if you have a supply, gas, so no need to spare the electricity to cook them. For my part, I have a decent stock of beef cuts along with pork chops, tenderloins, and bacon. And don’t forget to see to your wines and spirits, the latter of which will especially raise yours when times get tough.

Tuesday is my normally scheduled game night, so I will probably be in the North Atlantic or South Pacific fighting for my life, or if a drier setting is chosen, perhaps in North Africa or even the Ostfront cleasing out Commie scum whilst “liberating” Ukraine from their Russian oppressors. However, I will bring my laptop and scan the returns to see if the rest of the country will now have to live in the Hellish California conditions to which I have been accustomed for years.

  122. The NYT decided to do some real journalism on Peltola and Talarico?

    Pigs might be flying.

“The Times reported Wednesday that Talarico, the Texas Democrat Senate candidate, has engaged in a bit of bloviating about his signature origin story. Then they proved it had been contradicted by official records.

For years, Talarico has claimed that as a first-year teacher, he once had 45 students in a single classroom, forcing children to sit on the air-conditioning unit because there were not enough desks — an experience he has repeatedly cited as the reason he entered politics.

“At one point, I had 45 students in one classroom,” he said during a CNN town hall. “There weren’t enough desks for all those kids, so I had students sitting on the air-conditioning unit in the wealthiest country in human history — in the 21st century, children sitting on the air-conditioning unit.”

Evidently the Times proved his biggest class ever was 25 students.
