The strategy of just bombing the sh-t out of Iran without seeking a meaningful agreement. doesn’t have the support of the Dems, the ME allies, the European allies, the Asian allies, even a majority of Republicans.
The strategy of seeking an agreement that goes beyond just Iran but involves the Saudis, UAE and Israel has much wider support.
Trump knows that.

I also know nothing about ice hockey.
I DO know when you attend a game you are supposed to yell loudly “Get the puck out of there!”
And some guy named Zamboni drives around the ice at various times.
And you are supposed to bring plenty of hats and live octopuses to throw onto the ice at regular intervals, between fights, or maybe to try to hit Zamboni.
