We’ll see it plays out. Any of the few Republican Reps in blue states and Democrat Reps in red states should update their resumes as they get redistricted out of Congress.

Baseball rule – Do not take the ball from the child. You will get roasted for it.
Exception – If it is a record setting ball worth hundreds of thousands of dollars you can keep it. You will still get roasted for it but made a lot of money.

I think whoever can get the ball should be able to keep it. I don’t think children should be special. When they grow up they can get the ball.

I think it hinges on VA.
With the GOP now favored to win 24/28 seats in FL and perhaps gaining another 3-5 seats in the South if the Dems don’t keep 10-1 in VA I would say the GOP has a 50% chance of keeping the House.
But there are other factors involved, still a lot of things could happen.

I didn’t see the video. If the guy stole the ball AFTER a little kid got it, he should give it back.
But if he pushes the little brat out of the way while they are both going for it, no problem.

Any time an adult can make a kid’s day by giving him/her the baseball, then that is a good thing. It is more blessed to give than to receive, especially when you can brighten a child’s life for a few moments in this dark world made darker by the likes of Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, and Nancy Pelosi.

I defer to the child, but only if the ball is clearly no longer in play; if the outfielder can feasibly snatch a HR or ground rule double away from the batter, he has every right to go for it, childhood be damned (and it will teach the child the good lesson of taking risks and really reaching for a goal, at least if they have more than a half-arsed entitled parent who expects things for free).
