The world is a dangerous place, with Iran having been at war with us and our allies for 47 years. There are essentially four responses:
Libertarians: Sit in the corner with ears plugged, eyes closed, count to 100, and then open eyes to see that all the bad people have disappeared and the whole world is now a Disney fantasy.
Democrats: Except for Fetterman, rooting for Iran to win and the USA to lose. Send millions of dollars to Iran so they can build up the weapons they need to kill us and our allies.
Republicans: Hit Iran with sanctions and keep calling them evil, but then just keep kicking the can down the road because they are too risk averse to do anything about Iran.
Trump: Lets wipe out the radical regime and put an end to this.
I do think it was effective what Trump said in his speech about how long past wars went, and we are only in day 33, and its going very well, hope to wrap up soon.

Thanks for taking over the earthquake watch while I was building the 24 foot walkway.
Speaking of which, mere minutes ago thw project was completed. The ribbon cutting will be on Saturday…whenever I get get up and finish. Reakfast a d a cigar and coffee.

For those who cannot make the ribbon cutting on Saturday, I will have photos of the completed walkway up on Facebook momentarily.

Walkway update… My wife likes the way I put the smaller pavers around the lower end of the walkway next to the huge walkway slabs. She wants me to do the same at the upper end since it gives it a nice finished look.
Problem is there is no place around that sells these small pavers. I had to buy 14 larger pavers I found at Home Depot and place them in the lower level of the two level high walls around the flower beds.
So now I will have ti go get three more Home Depot larger pavers to find a place in the lower tier of the wall so I can free up 6 smaller pavers to do the one end of the walkway like I did the other end.

I had to get the bigger Home Depot pavers to use in order to free up 24 of the smaller pavers to finish the flower bed border.
Put them on the bottom row underneath the top row of smaller pavers to hide them. And used the 24 small pavers i freed up to finish the edging.
So now I have to buy 3 more Home Depot large pavers to substitute and free up 6 smaller pavers.

I have no clue why someone is using expensive paver bricks when then can use just plain bricks. My daughter works for Home Depot. The original bricks are the same as the paver bricks but a fraction of the cost. Simply said, she mentioned that if an plain old brick breaks apart then replace it. Paver bricks have the same life as plain old bricks.
FYI….I replaced my complete up front patio about 8 years ago and have not one issue with just plain bricks.
