On Friday while driving to southern WV, Goofball from the Rescue Mission calls. Wants me to take him somewhere. Tell him won’t be home til Sunday evening.

Monday night, Goofball calls. Needs me to take hom to doctor. So here I am running Goofball around Tuesday morning… Says he has a sinus infection. Now the Rescue Mission has a doctor come TO THE MiSSION each week, but he can’t wait for that. There are qurgent care places within a mile or so from the Rescue Mission, but he has to have me take him 10 miles down the interstate to THIS particular urgent care.
Not driving Miss DAISY. Driving Goofball, whi is driving me crazy.
You KNOW we will be stopping by McDonald’s when ever he finally gets out of urgent care. I have errands to run and a luncheon at 1 p.m……

He keeps checking out availability at apartment complexes. NONE he is applying for are subsidized. They probably cost $900 a month rent. He gets $1200 a month on SS disability. Plus he will have to pay electric and maybe other utilities. PLUS EVERYTHING HE OWNED except a buitcase and bag of clothes he walked away from when he got evicted from his SUBSIDIZED APT., so he has no furniture, no dishes. Pots and pans, sheets. Towels, etc.

What a game and what an electric atmosphere last night in Texas whereas the USA’s version of the ‘Dream Team’ in the World Baseball Classic hung on and beat Mexico for the first time in two Classic decades 5-3.
Tonight USA plays a good Italian team looking to go 4-0.
FYI….Team USA has the greatest assemblage of Major League talent I’ve ever seen in the WBC.

Yes, Cash Cow wrapped up her investigative stint with the FBI out in AZ for the Nancy Guthrie investigation. She felt like she was chasing her tail. Like she was on the horns of a dilemna.
