I wanted to comment more on something Paul said yesterday. He dismissed the documented instances of 400+ American children having their genitals destroyed by surgeons as being statistically irrelevant. “Almost non-existent” were his words.
Now imagine two scenarios.
One, a jumbo jet with 400 souls on board, and despite all safety measures, some freak accident happens, a bad storm, bird strike or something out of anyone’s control brings down the plane and all die.
Two, a jumbo jet with 400 souls on board, and someone on the ground decides it would make for a good target practice, he gets the officials to approve the plan so it is considered legal, and a surface to air missile is fired at the plane, and it successfully destroys it, killing all 400 on board.
One is a tragedy, the second scenario involves a level of premeditated evil that is hard to describe.
There are (thankfully) extremely rare instances where a baby is born with horrible birth defects that involve the genitals, so surgeons do what they can to improve the quality of life.
But to SET OUT and PLAN on destroying the healthy genitals of children is an unspeakable evil, just like the second jet scenario described above.

The actual vote will be very different from this poll.
For example, at the end, there is no way the 6 candidates at the bottom will add up to 21% of the vote. Most of these voters will migrate to someone with a better chance even if they express a preference now.
It would be good if they did get that many votes, since they are Dems.

His approval rate is much higher now than 2018. He was saddled with the Muh Russian hoax back then. Now, Messie joining with the Ds tried to Muh Epplestein him, which failed.

based on his dates poll was Tuesday and Wednesday…unless his Tuesday ones were all in the evening on the west coast.

The Epplestein hoax sure fizzled out. It fizzled because of Messie and crooke Kana falsely accusing 4 people and the fact that the drats (including temu Obama) sought money from Epplestein post conviction.

I am not expecting major changes in the polling. Dems and their accomplices in the media have so brainwashed half of the electorate that they could literally run whatever openly evil platform they wanted, including the genocide of Republicans, followed by handing our nation over to be a province of North Korea, and they would still get the same votes and they would still hate Republicans just as much.

Just scrolling on here today..and DW I did get a chuckle out of Homer Hedgehog.
I came in 2nd with 5220 points (by a whisker thin 10 points beating the eventual 3rd place finisher). Won $3.
It will go into the car horn fund.
The CA jungle primary is EXACTLY why such nonsense should not be allowed. Two people with 10 and 11% respectively could Garner the top two runoff positions and 79% of the voters get screwed in round two.
Jungle primaries regardless of party is as goofy as Oregon mailing out ballots to everyone in the state.

I will tell you one demographic that might move the needle a bit. The idea of Republicans working for YOU, while Democrats work for Illegal Aliens will move the needle a bit in large urban centers among the AA population. Many in that community were already a bit upset at illegal aliens being brought in to replace them. A few influencers on social media complained about this as such. But in the end, it won’t matter if a deep blue house seat goes 80/20 for the Dem this fall instead of 90/10.

The good news, as on yesterday my son was 180 days drug and alcohol free.
My advice to everyone is, when you suffer from depression or anxiety, get medical help to find out what legal prescription meds are out there that can help. TAKE THE MEDS.

Yesterday I took a several hours nap. I think this greatly helped me in my bridge playing today. I got decent cards, and should give my bidding an A- and play A- as well. y jokes were B graded. Which is better than D graded.
The most important thing is that I had a good time.
On the way to bridge this morning, I met a fire truck with lights on going down the road toward my house (that I knew was OK because I just left there and rest of family was home:. Then not 10 seconds later when I was getting on the four lane highway I see a state trooper with light on but running silent blitzing off toward Charles Town. Then when I am in town about a mile from the Holiday Inn where we play bridge, there are 3 city cop cars with lights on surrounding a vehicle by an intersection I have to drive past.
I took it as an omen that my cards and play today would either be wetting things on fire, or else would be a dumpster fire.

Today, the WFV governor announces that there is going to be a $4BILLION data center built in the northern end of the county here, just a few miles from the Potomac River.
It will use as much water as a city of 20,000 people ……

GF chimed in that if it was the clock spring assembly that was the problem, then his guess would be much higher and he would get back to me– it he never threw out any actual dollar amount guesses.
It WAS the clock spring assembly ($196 for the part) which is also built in with the Steering Angle Sensor ($131.25 part cost) and also the air bag clock spring sensor ($134.50 part cost). THEY ARE ALL CONNECTED TOGETHER AND YOU HAVE TO REPLACE ALL OF THESE to make the horn work. You cannot just replace the clock spring assembly….
****************************
ACTUAL TOTAL COST:
Horn repair $640.43
MINUS my $10 coupon
MINUS my $14.01 discount for using debit card
So bottom line cost after coupon and discount was $616.42
************
The rule was whoever came within $10 of the total cost would win the HCC prize
The HIGHEST guess was Bitter at $540, which was still under the $640.43 by $100.43.
So nobody is awarded any prize. I will save the prize for my next contest–perhaps it will be another car repair cost, or some other thing.

So when you think YOU have troubles. just think of good ol’Walt and his car horn and count your blessings.
__________
I will start a GoFundMe page where people can donate to the horn repair cost.
Plus I won $3 yesterday paying bridge and that will go into the fund.
Plus I will save $30 a month on changes I made to cell phone service. So in about 2 years I will recoup the cost of the horn repair with savings on cell phone bill.
Plus my big Federal income tax refund will be her in a few months…
I have not told the wife what the cost was. I do not plan to tell her. She will be p!$$ed at me for spending that much money on an old car I should trade in….
_____________
To get my money’s worth, I will blow that MF horn every 5 miles of driving, whether I need to blow it or not.

Wife and I have Human health care.
They sponsor a GO365 plan where you get points that you can turn into either dollars on a credit card or dollars of gift cards.
You earn $25 for an annual wellness checkup with your doctor (which we both do).
You earn $10 when you fill out an on line form (which I did)
You earn $55 for having a colonoscopy.
You earn $5 if you got the flu shot (which we did)
You earn more dollars if you do volunteer work (which we both do)
You earn more points when your exercise or walk regularly (which we both do)
You earn more dollars/points when you do other things.
These points can be earned QUARTERLY (like volunteer work, etc.) Some people I know say they got back $240 to $400 from Humana in gift card/cash cards.
The gift cards never expire, but the cash cards expire at end of calendar year.
*******
I call Human and say how do I get my points/dollars recorded and how do I redeem them?
I find out that when your doctor submits their paper work for your annual visit, then you get awarded the $25., etc.
BUT Human does not EVER send out an email saying “you have $85 in unredeemed dollars/points…would you like to cash these in?” AND all points/dollars expire on DEc. 312 each year.
So since my annual wellness visit was last fall, I get no points/dollars.
Since my flu shot was last fall, I have no points/dollars.
Also, every QUARTER, you have to log in (or call) and record your activities that earn points/dollars.

If I had done this last year, between the wife and I we could have earned nearly enough to cover the cost of fixing the car horn.
Say, what do you all know about Red Pocket cell phone provider?
$300/year/5G service/unlimited usage/no increase in cost ever/I pick which of the big 3 providers networks to use (which includes T Mobile which is our current service anyway) Sounds a lot better than the $1200/yr we WERE paying of the $720 per year going forward that we will be paying T mobile.
I would ask about what ideas you all have to cut the nearly $200 a month cable TV cost, but you all would respond by talking about “Firestick” and other mumbo jumbo streaming stuff and how to do it that I have zero understanding of.
