When just about to leave the car repair shop I get a call from the church where my wife’s Sister ACTS meets monthly. They were there on Saturday. Someone from the church called ME. Said there are a couple boxes of Sister ACTS things on one of the tables in their meeting room. They said they need to be removed as there is a funeral reception that will be using that space today. [The room has a big closet that could easilt hold two .edium boxes of things].
I call the wife and tell her. Ask her if she wants me to go get the couple of boxes since I am in town and not far from the church.
The wife says “Oh. Why did they call you? That is odd. Why did they not call me? Oh, I am supposed to be at so and so’s I a little bit to do (blah, blah, blah..)”
I ask again, ‘Do you want to me to go to the church and get the boxes?”
She says, “That is odd they would call you. No, no. I…. guess ….I will go take care of it….(sigh).”
ME: “They implied they were soon to need those tables and that room. (As I sensed no urgency in her reply as to this had to bebo e very soon),

I understand that 90% of what my wife says about anything is not really relevant to the issue at hand, and that you need to do is pick up on the 10% that is actually germane.
She could say “could you return these two books to the library today”.
Instead, she will talk about being busy, needing to do this and that. and various reasons she forgot to return the books yesterday even though they were in her car. Then she will say the library closes at 5, and how you don’t put the books in the depository outside, you take them inside and return them to the window on the right, not on the left, because the window on the right is for this and that, and the one on the left is for that and this. Then a short review of the fines if the books are not returned today. Then a recommendation on what route I should take to get to the library, given that there was traffic at such and such a road yesterday.
Of course, already having determined the task at hand is return 2 books to the library, I tune out the rest.

In other words, while Newsome won’t ever be disqualified by the MSM for anything he does or says, he could damage himself internally with certain demographics that vote in the Dem primaries.

By comparison the 7th game between the Blue Jays and Dodgers peaked at 14 million Canadian viewers.

FIRST, my advice to Trump is. Do not be a jerk. Do not bad mouth SCOTUS members, Dems, Rs with whom you have a beef.
Also, do not write your own speech because it will read like you talk. PLEASE have some intelligent person write your speech.
Also, read the speech. And JUST the words of the damned speech. DO NOT veer off and speak contemporaniously on some stupid story where you speak in less that complete sentences and use the words ‘great’ and ‘very’ over and over. When you veer off to speak what is on ylthw top of hlyour head, you often impecisely speak and throw out things that are. Ot true and accurate. Every time you do that, the MSM LSD will skewer you and make you look like an idiot who does not known what he is talking about.

I have to report that I did get my TMobile plan cha ged from regular to same plan for over 55 years of age plan. It will drop the cost from $90 a month for 2 cell phones (unlimited use) to $60/mo.
$30 bucks a month is still $30.
I also saved money when a contacted Sirius radio and got other car s put on one contract.
My next targets will be our cable provider (Comcast/Infinity) and I telnet provider (AOL) Currently the basic fewest channels) is costing us $193 and change a month. Not happy with that.
Plus their bills keep going g higher abd higher..
Comcast provides us internet service as part of our package, But we really never moved over to using it for email, etc a d kept using AOL.
So we are still paying about $20 a month for using AOL and could easy lump over to using Co.cast for that.

During Trump’s 2nd term I rarely finish listening to the end of his speeches – either turn him off or walk out. I thought I would do the same thing, especially when I heard beforehand that it would be a “long” one. However, I stayed for all 1 hour 40+ minutes of it, finding myself enjoying how it was choreographed, with stories from the gallery, and how he challenged the Dems to demonstrate a moral compass. If graded I would give Trump a strong B+, and thought it was one of his best speeches – one that was needed at this time in the country.
