RINO Karl Rove, when asked on Fox & Friends this morning how to explain the tremendous success of the Republican Party, with millions of people joining it, and the Dems losing millions, was unable to give an answer. He just couldn’t utter the words, PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP! But that’s OK, the PEOPLE get it, and always have!!!

Or pretty much any lifetime for the indefinite future. Earth has assets not found anywhere else:

    a) An atmosphere with the perfect mix of oxygen so we can breathe without it being explosive.

    b) A magnetosphere to defect the harmful radiation of the sun so that humans won’t get fried with radiation poisoning and die before being able to reproduce.

    c) Clean water to drink and thereby stay alive.

    d) Soil that can grow food.

    e) Temperatures that are not too hot or too cold. For instance on Mercury, if you stand in the sunlight, you would dissolve instantly like the guy at the end of Raiders of the lost Ark, but a step to the left in the shadow, and you would freeze like Han Solo in the Empire Strikes Back.

Overcoming these basic obstacles, and this is by no means a comprehensive list of obstacles, would require the entire assets of planet earth to achieve. But as it is now there are wars all over the earth, and we cannot even get squabbling factions of Islam to get along. As long as there are all these wars and conflicts, no such effort to leverage all the assets of everyone in the world to pull off a new settlement on another planet will ever happen.

  11. Lets see if Bitter will agree with this usage of slavery.

During the Roman empire, some Christians would save their money, and purchase a young girl from the slave market–a girl who otherwise was doomed to a life of sex slavery and worse. The Christians would keep the girl as a slave to protect her from predators and they would cultivate a nurturing and loving childhood environment, and then when the girl reached adulthood she was released from slavery. But the Christians were slave owners for many years. Was this good behavior on their part, or does ALL SLAVERY is wrong apply, and they never should have purchased the girl?

I don’t bet on baseball, but if I did, I would put down huge money on the Phillies to win tonight, because the way the Mets behave is they win a few games in a row and they always relax and start thinking about their world series rings and the ticker tape parade and so forth. Having won the first two games over the Phillies, they think they “won” the series, which is true, but they don’t seem to be aware of the fact that to catch up, they need to sweep. Tonight they won’t run out ground balls, they will stand at the plate disinterested in swinging the bat, and their pitchers will throw it right down the middle hoping the Phillies’ batters will get themselves out.

Researchers analyzed data from nearly 16,000 adults, aged 19 and older, considering how much animal and plant protein they typically consumed.

They also examined whether these diet patterns were associated with a risk of dying from causes such as heart disease and cancer.

The results revealed no increased risk of death in association with eating more animal protein.
