LOl! Why do you care what Chi, OA and I do for a living? Does it change what we’ve written? As for me, I already told you, I am not a local Philly lawyer that can’t admit when he’s wrong, can’t see the difference between hack lefty journalists and the WSJ, NY times, and who can’t see the evidentiary value of an indictment and an arrest warrant in a German court for a Ukrainian civilian for blowing up the pipeline along with the Ukraines refusal to extradite him. good enough for ya there Bitter?
Not sure why that is important to you, Bitter. You should be able to respond to a post, whether it was written by a heart surgeon, lawyer, former President, carpenter or a garbage man. Perhaps you are just an elitist.
No. Everybody feels justified in attacking my abilities as a lawyer. Fair is fair. Just want to know who I am dealing with. Offer still stands if you want a Bitterlaw-free thread.
My advice is keep your professional careers to yourself. I mistakingly said I was an RN and have since been ridiculed as “Putin’s nurse,”. It’s not worth it!
An elitist? Zzzzzzz Just a lawyer who gets paid every 2 weeks and coaches youth sports. Will probably miss softball this year – which matters more to me than the Cult. Offer still stands. Don’t be ashamed. I respect all honest workers.
Zzzzzzzz Walt (legislator) and Phil are retired teachers. NYC runs a trucking company. Jason is an international businessman. Vic is an entrepreneur and owns multiple companies. Pitchaboy was an oncologist. Lisab was a teacher and union activist. I think JeffP is a psychologist.
Hey bitter, since I’ve been here I’ve been meaning to ask, is the Cult you are referencing a cult for Putin, a cult for Trump or just a group of people affiliated by nothing other than they say things the bitter lawyer doesn’t like? Just curious as the new guy
The Cult think Trump is infallible, the legislative and judicial branches must rubber stamp everything Trump does or be removed from their positions, and favors Putin over Zelensky.
I just don’t want a lowly district court (judge shopped before marxists) to decide who a president hires/fires; a review of contracts by the executive branch; and an illegal being deported.
Remember when. The free passers were for separation of powers?
Maybe trump can decide the law clerks on Beotchy staff?
In a major win for American industry, German multinational Siemens has announced a massive $10 billion investment in the United States, strengthening American manufacturing, AI, and job creation.
Trump is not infallible and definitely not a conservative in many ways. I am completely fine with criticizing him as needed. If he cuts the size of government and eliminates the Department of Education I will be very happy. He least Musk has him talking about balancing the budget and paying off the debt. If he balances the budget and can get congress to codify the Doge waste he will be more conservative fiscally than Bush. EO’s only go so far.
Trump was a good President in his first term. No expectations for the second beyond screwing over Ukraine. Still better than Harris but that is a low bar.
Maybe the Cult can explain the benefit of a trade war with Canada that is tanking the stock market and threatening American jobs and power to 3 states. I thought Trump was the great deal maker.
Maybe Bitter can explain how it is okay for Canada (and others) to have, for decades, significantly higher tariffs on American imports than those imposed by America on foreign imports?
So you can’t answer the question. Just say it. Did the Americans who may lose their jobs or some income under the new tariffs do better or worse than they are now?
Bitter doesn’t have an answer for this. Just admit it.

Can we at least put to rest the idiotic theory that “Trump only uses tariffs as a negotiating tactic” and admit Trump is a protectionist who thinks “tariff is the most beautiful word in the English language views the failed AFL-CIO agenda of the last 70 years as “eureka, what a great strategy, let’s engage in trade wars with all our main trading partners”!
Bitter says -It’s not ok. But the great deal maker can’t make deals anymore.
——
A bit premature there, Bitter, Lets see how this plays out. We all know you’re desperate to see America/Trump fail here, but we’re only in the top of the 1st inning.
How would Bitter address the huge difference in tariffs between Canada and America? A strongly worded memo, perhaps? Lol.
On Ukraine, Bitter takes the long view; he’s willing to sacrifice billions in the hope that Russia will be weakened. We must fight this Putin guy! Show him he can’t run us over.
On tariffs, though, Bitter can only see a day or two in advance; we can’t do anything to show Canada and others that they can’t run us over; Bitter’s 401(k) might take a temporary hit.
I’m sure it’s a coincidence Bitter is on the opposite side of Trump on both issues.

Lori Chavez DeRemer.
Over a dozen Dems voted for her, I am surprised all of them didn’t.
McConnell and Ted Budd voted no.,
“She was the only House Republican to sponsor and only one of three to vote for a union-backed suite of labor law reforms known as the PRO Act”
But the Cultists and fake conservatives (am I repeating myself) will stand up and cheer.
They are in good company.
“Her nomination was backed by Teamsters President Sean O’Brien, who praised her support of the PRO Act”

It is also raising prices to the consumers that can least afford it and to the demographics that Rs have made inroads into and would like to keep.
