I personally am fine with women as helicopter pilots, fighter pilots, bomber pilots, whatever.
If they meet whatever standards are needed for those positions, they absolutely can be in those positions and in combat roles.
Bitter can GFH.
My objection to not releasing the pilot’s name is that there is not, nor should there be, a “right to privacy” and neither should the family be able to interfere in what is standard military policy.
Maybe the instructor’s family will receive hate mail too.
When you join the military, you know the rules and the risks. Having your name “protected” is not one of the rules.

I think too much is being made of the helicopter pilot’s gender here. Whether the pilot was male or female a family may have requested the same anonymity for their own reasons. Why the military is granting their request merits questioning.
Also, another aviation professional said a 4th person should have been seated in the helicopter monitoring the air traffic around them.

Trump has made isolationism and protectionism the core of this message for the last 50 years, it is the ONE thing he is consistent on. “America First” is isolationism at its best.
Today he placed stupid tariffs on our NAFTA partners, if there should be free trade anywhere it should certainly start with Canada and Mexico.
Saying Trump is not an isolationist or protectionist is like saying Hitler was not a Nazi.

American goods will be become more expensive and others will take advantage of this to replace American goods with their goods.
American farmers and industries will have fewer markets.

The @DOGE team discovered, among other things, that payment approval officers at Treasury were instructed always to approve payments, even to known fraudulent or terrorist groups. They literally never denied a payment in their entire career. Not even once.

The highest ranking Treasury official, David A Lebryk, is resigning rather than complying with a request by @DOGE for access to audit where they’ve spent trillions of dollars a year. Why would career bureaucrats fear an audit by @elonmusk and @doge to see where we can save money?
