We already knew Iran had assassins in the Country, but it seems the threats have ramped up the last few days.
The Trump campaign says that former President Trump was briefed by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence about “real and specific threats from the Islamic Republic of Iran to assassinate him in an effort to destabilize and sow chaos in the United States.”

I have a serious question…….what would happen, if God forbid a nominee for President was assassinated a month before an election? Would the election be put on hold? Would the party be allowed to nominate another candidate, even though people have already voted? How exactly would all that work?

When you vote for president, you are voting for a slate of your state’s electors. So, if the candidate died and his name was still on the ballot, you are voting for his parties electors.
In Texas, if the candidate dies 71 days before the general election the party can choose a replacement candidate. Otherwise, the dead candidate receives the votes. Possibly creating a vacancy if he wins.

The NE Governor was not going to take up the aspect of winner-take-all electoral votes before the election unless there were enough votes to override a filibuster. One crucial Republican, McDonnell I think was the name, firmly said he would not vote for it. So, that quashed any attempt to pursue consolidating the electors any further. Very disappointing…….

The Dems are focused on manipulating overseas ballots – not from the military necessarily, but from people living overseas. Ballots coming in from overseas don’t have to show citizenship or signature verifications.
Also, Jack Smith, the unconstitutionally appointed lawyer, is still trying to pursue his indictment against Trump, dealing with the J6 insurrection with the very biased Judge Chuken. The Dems are determined to get Trump one way or another, like a dog with a bone!
