Of course, despite Bitter’s allegation without evidence that wes would vote for “any Democrat” (he may have said Biden, but since Biden at the time was a 99% shoo-in for the nomination, there would be no reason for wes to say “any Democrat”) I don’t think wes would vote for Kamala and much less for a ticket with someone with a DUI on it.
I found it hilarious Bitter thinks he knew wes better than i did because of some FB posts, considering I have been here exchanging views with him over 15 years.
wes may have voted for Biden, but he was mostly a libertarian who would have viewed Kamala as the antithesis of anything he believed in.
I told you I would vote for any Republican other than Trump against Biden. (Well, if the 22nd Amendment weren’t in place and GWB were running against Biden, then I’d vote for Biden, but that’s an alternate universe scenario.)
I don’t think you quite understand just how badly Trump undermined his standing with voters on 1-6-21. The Republicans cannot claim to be the party of the Constitution and the law and overlook the lawlessness of that day. I’m not the only GOP-leaning voter who’s decided Trump is unacceptable because of that event. It was a very serious situation where a bunch of entitled people stormed on the seat of our government, threatened a sitting Vice-President by name, and erected a noose–all in the name of a sore loser who clearly incited them with his antics since losing and his speech immediately beforehand. It was banana republic-style politics, and I refuse to overlook it simply because Trump is a nominal Republican.
I don’t look at voting for Biden as a burden if I have to vote for him against Trump next year. I regard it as a necessary evil because Trump has proved the acquisition of power means more to him than the Constitution of the United States. I actively want Trump to lose precisely because he engaged in the same activities Latin American dictators engaged in in the 20th Century to acquire or hold onto power.
I would rather see Republicans nominate someone I deem to be palatable. Trump is not that person. I’m sorry, but no amount of sophistry is going to convince me Trump is an acceptable candidate for President after the depths he was willing to sink to just a few years ago. – Wes FB discussion post. He wanted Trump to lose. Jason hardest hit.
I know. That’s exactly why I can’t vote for a former President whose followers literally committed treason at his behest because they felt entitled to have him in an office the American people denied him at the ballot box.
Of course if I own what Biden does because I’ll vote for him to keep Trump out of office you own the fact that Trump and MAGA are traitors. You already know what they did in 2020 and 2021. You also know it will happen again. No redemption for you. -Wes
Jason speculates what honorable Wes would have done. I will leave it to the HHR jury if Wes would have voted for Harris to stop Trump. Based on Wes’ statements about Trump being a dictator and traitor, I think Wes would have voted for Harris.

Walz has a DUI.
I wonder what wes would say about that!

Yeah, wes was hard on me at the end there.
He was very angry I wouldn’t agree that the J6 rioters were actually going to hang Pence.
At the time I thought his anger at being ill had something to do with it so I didn’t push back, now I am happy I didn’t.

The anti-semites won out at the end.
I don’t think Walz does anything for the ticket.
Maybe it locks down MN, a longshot for Trump anyway.

If this is confirmed, Shapiro should be pissed.
He looks like an ass having tried to scrub his record to get on the ticket.

Right, he wouldn’t vote for Trump and would vote for Biden.
Nothing about voting for ‘any Democrat”
There is nothing on that message that he didn’t say on HHR.
Thanks for confirming my point.

You made an assertion with zero evidence.
I think you are doing wes a disservice by saying he would vote for a Kamala-Walz ticket.
wes would never vote for a Marxist like Kamala.
So I view this as defending his honor.

Most likely wes would have left the top of the ticket blank (or vote for Daffy Duck) like he did in 2016.
