BREAKING: Democrat Sen. Cory Booker just called Abdul El-Sayed a “fringe” person. Kristen Welker: “In our polls, socialism is viewed even more negatively than the MAGA movement. … And we’re seeing one of the big battles play out for progressivism in Michigan right now with Abdul El-Sayed, the candidate there… Do you think Democrats are drawing a firm enough line between themselves and socialism?”
Cory Booker: “This is really what the Republicans want to do, focus on a few fringe people…”
If El-Sayed was running up the score in Michigan internal polling and not hurting the national dem ticket, then Booker NEVER would have said this. Like I often say, watch the behavior as much as the polls.
Ed Case in Illinois said the Dems need to embrace the DSA or become a fringe minority.

“A hunter shot and killed a woman in Delaware last week after he mistook her for a deer, police said.
Walter Moorhead, 74, faces multiple charges, including manslaughter and reckless endangerment, for fatally shooting Santos Maria Chilel Soto, 39, Friday evening in the town of Ellendale, according to Delaware State Police.
Moorhead, of Salisbury, Maryland, was arrested at the scene of the shooting and later released on a $43,000 bond. State police said the preliminary investigation by its homicide unit indicated that Moorhead had been crouched close to the ground in an open field, hunting, when Soto passed by with a man and two children. Believing he had seen a deer, the hunter then fired his rifle in their direction, striking Soto”
The incident comes about a year after a teenager died in rural Iowa, after he was shot by a fellow hunter who apparently mistook him for a squirrel.”
The irony here is their eyesights were horrible in mistaking people for game but good enough to shoot them in the head.
