Tour to there is canceled. Lots of folks on the bus tour are sick. Probably a nurovirus of some sort. Wife and I are healthy. The other couple from home we are with….the wife is sick. They have decided they may just stay here in St. John’s an extra day and not be on the bus when it pulls out at noon today.
Wife and I made a 25 minute walk ONE WAY to one open drug store (not all are open on Sunday) to pick up medicines saltiness crackers, small barfing bags, etc. to give to tour director to pass out to other bus passengers as today we will skip the 2 hour ferry and instead drive way around the Bay Of Fundy and return to Halifax.
We did not have a FUN DAY on the Bay of Fundy.

I am encouraged there is a lot of pushback on conservative media against this disgusting movement to make this murderer the “victim” while ignoring the true victims and to give her free pass for killing her children, followed by the doxxing and persecution of the holdout who refused to go along with this travesty.
Maybe there will be a backlash against the far left’s attempt to abolish the concept of personal responsibility and blame all criminal activity on “society”.
I think the doxxing of this juror has been a catalyst for the pushback.

No, having a criminal charge that was dropped (dismissed) does not disqualify you from serving on a jury in Massachusetts.

Tomorrow I might be forced to watch my first NFL game in 10 years.
I was invited to a soirée (sticks out tongue at Walt) where one of the attractions will be the Broncos-Chiefs game.
Since I don’t want to spoil anyone’s fun by telling them what I really think of the woke leftist NFL, its owners, coaches and players I will dutifully smile at the TDs, look sad when players are taken into the little blue tents, and nod disapprovingly at the bad calls.
I might put a bet on the underdog Broncos so at least I have a financial interest in the outcome.

Canada…LAST DAY, maybe…
Well this is a fine howdy do.
Bus supposed to depart hotel for Peggy’s Cove at 8:15 a.m.
Bags had to be out by 7 a.m.
It is now 8:25 .They do not have the bags down to the ground floor yet. Then when they get here they have to be loaded onto the bus. The hotel is having elevator problems.
Our bus driver refers to this tour as the tour from hell.

LAST NIGHT the EMS DID end up taking one 84 year old women in our group to the hospital…the one who passed out in the lobby right after we arrived. She then was transported back to the hotel later.

We are now beginning to board the bus. Some passengers are bitching that they need to have some who boarded and seated ahead of them to move further back because they have motion sickness.
CRIPES SAKES! This is a frigging bus tour. Plus today’s time om the bus to Peggy’s Cove is only 30 minutes.
So we are now 25 minutes late…they have announced less time available for Peggy’s Cove before we have to scurry off to the airport.

We will fill it out at the airport while we wait there today after the tour is complete.
The early morning light rain has ended and the sun is shining brightly. No wind. Not cold, nice temperature. So…I am beginning to worry and think this is just setting a trap for us later after we let down our guard ….
…so now it crosses my mind that perhaps there will possibly be an ambush wild bear attack at Peggy’s Cove…or a giant lobster attack…
