Dems got a million votes in the PA primary. Rs got 600k

Maybe it means something. Maybe it doesn’t.

Dem turnout was 28%. R turnout was 18%.

There are 9 million registered voters in PA. There are 7.4 million eligible for the primary.

Only 23% bothered to show up.

  2. Dems are more enthused. At least in SE PA, there were more contested primaries on the Dem side. I don’t know about other areas of the state.

  3. House races, particularly primaries can be very hard to poll…hats off to Quantus for getting within 1.8 of the actual results. Grayhouse and SoCal strategies nearly as good. Not only did these three do a good job, they essentially exposed Baris for his cheerleading on this one.

  5. My thought on the MAGA moment from 40,000 feet.

Why it has attracted so many U.S. voters

    ●●●●●●

U.S. slow slide in the last 3 or so decades in lots of areas including

    –education

–govt policies that undermine the family

–weaponization of the courts for political purposes

    –growth of intrusive government powers

    –ineffectiveness of congress

    –self serving congress

–pay to play federal government under Obama and Biden ( push for failed green energy, etc)

–Courts that put criminal rights over victim rights

–courts that put women’s rights over rights of males

–courts and other fed govt that put rights of trans over women

–courts and other federal govt action putting rights of illegals above rights of Americans

(all of which has created an UNequal society…)

–political and massive fraudulent weaponization of welfare, Medicare, medicaid, hospice federal spending, etc

–the gradual coming to light of squirrelyness of the 2020 election

–gradual coming to light of the false meme of J6 pushed by dems

–gradual comimg to light that the Hunter Biden laptop issues were real and that the dems and media collided to fool the America people for politely gain purposes

–The shifting of the D party to be batsh!t crazy hard left, and the corresponding shift of R party to be more right wing

–Both parties having Senators go the independent route and not towing the party lines

  6. Another CA Gov poll:

    Hilton 22, Becerra 22, Steyer 15, Bianco 11, Porter 6, Mahan 4, Villaraigosa 1, Thurmond 1

looks like hope for GOP shutting out the dems is fading. Dems play to win. They sacked Swalwell, and have done enough to get either Becerra or Steyer dragged over the primary finish line. At this point it would take a massive GOP turnout, and weak Dem turnout to see it happen.

  7. from RRH Elections:

“Oregon voted 82-18 to repeal a tax package that Democrats had passed in the legislature.”

And the same voters will vote to put right back into power the very Democrats who passed that tax package.

  9. I will continue my post about MAGA as I get a chance on my Meals on wheels route.

All this I posted above plus more like discovering USAID fraud etc. has provided a never ending supply of fuel for the MAGA movement.

And the big thing everybosy says is that also Trump is a fighter who will fight back on everything. Sadly, he is a personally flawed person, and it is east for the Ds to make the battles not about fraud, incompetence, wrong headed d policies, etc. but instead about Trumo and all his flaws.

  16. Did Frank ever fix the revolving door on his closet? I can’t recall which member of Congress ribbed him about being in and out depending on whether he was back home in his district, or living it up at the DC clubs.

I remember him mostly for having a big hand in the subprime crisis as head of the banking committee, but he never got the appropriate blame.

I keep reading about how Trump is flawed as a person, but I compare him to other Presidents and just don’t see what the “flaws” are exactly.

Barr is a shoo-in for the GE, Cameron would have put the seat at risk depending on who the Dems ran.

Of course, you see a lot of “RINO” comments about him on social media, the deadenders never miss an opportunity to throw away a safe senate seat.

He also made history in 2012 by becoming the first sitting congressman to legally marry a same-sex partner. “

Hard to believe that was only 14 years ago.

    Andy Barr was Trumps pick.

A bad day for Biden Beotch as Cameron and Messie went down.

Actually Cameron was the MAGA candidate in the race. Trump endorsed Barr late in the race when it was obvious Cameron would lose.

“Daniel Cameron conceded the Republican primary for Kentucky’s U.S. Senate seat to Congressman Andy Barr on May 19, 2026. Barr secured the nomination, while Cameron suffered his second consecutive statewide defeat, despite campaigning heavily on his alignment with the MAGA agenda
