Good point, Walt, I hadn’t thought of that. Once Joe pardons the rest of the family, congressional hearings are the only real place to discover if the Crime Family was selling access to the White House during the Obama and Biden years.

Liz Cheney getting absolutely demolished in the 2022 House R primary was tremendous. Losing 66%-29% as an incumbent, and many of her votes were Dems who re-registered to vote in the R primary. Nolte doesn’t get it.
Biden probably didn’t really care about the gun and tax charges, he knew that most likely Biden would get a light sentence and maybe even pardoned by Trump.
What he was worried about is OTHER charges that could be brought against him that would involve the whole influence peddling scheme, that is why he got a blanket pardon for everything from 2014 onwards.

Got it.
So Mourdock was a state-wide successful candidate who put his foot in his mouth AFTER THE PRIMARY.
Which shows that I, along with other primary voters of that state, wanted to win a General Election with the more conservative choice, who had a chance to win.
Some were successful, others were not.
That is the pitfalls of the primary system.
Do you two support the primary system?

U.S. Republican Senator Mike Rounds said he was not surprised Trump would want personnel “that he believes are very loyal.”
Rounds said he had no issues with Wray’s performance as FBI director, however, calling him “a good man” on ABC’s “This Week.”
Hard to believe Rounds has no “issues with Wray”.

-If this is true, especially since it is RubyRed So Dakota, get a better Republican Senator from that state.
Unless you are a Liz-Cheney-Republican, no way you can say that Wray is “a good man” when speaking about his performance as FBI director. You couldn’t even say good woman, good person, or even good llama-lover.
He has been terrible, the FBI has too many times said something like “we had him under surveillance” AFTER a person commits a heinous crime, and the FBI under his watch has been hostile to whistleblowers.

I think Rounds needs to prove HE IS NOT THAT STUPID AND SHALLOW because he said Wray “is a good man”.
If the last 4+ years have shown us anything, it’s this: Trump made a HORRIBLE CHOICE when he picked Wray, and ANYONE who says otherwise at this point in time is circumspect in my opinion. Wray has been terrible. Good man? Get the f*ck out of here.

Finally something sensible. Imo, for the depoliticizing to stick, some are going to have to lose pensions and go to the joint.
I also agree on leaving the intelligence function there, too. Lots of new leadership, though.
