Four out of seven swing states done. The election is closer than it was in July, but definitely not Harris’ to lose.

It would surprise me.
The benefit is that it makes Kamala the “incumbent”.
The negative is that it would be the messiest “transition” in history and a tremendous distraction from the campaign.
Most likely there was a deal made where Biden was assured he could stay on IF he gave up the campaign.
