Mark Mitchell, Rasmussen Reports @Mark_R_Mitchell · 14h Four out of seven swing states done. The election is closer than it was in July, but definitely not Harris’ to lose.
This will trigger the HHR Putinistas….they always take it personally when something negative about Russia is posted
“Russian sources say that criminal cases are being prepared for Russian generals due to failure of the Kursk region’s defense. The “cleansing” of the Russian Ministry of Defense, which started after the dismissal of Sergei Shoigu, may continue with a new series of arrests of high-ranking law enforcers who failed in the defense of the Kursk region. It is reported that Gerasimov, head of the General Staff, has fallen into Putin’s disfavor.”
WH advisor Kirby calls Putin’s “West v. Russia” claim about Ukraine’s Kursk incursion “horse-hockey” If Putin doesn’t like Ukraine’s defense, “then there’s an easy solution: He can just get the hell out of Ukraine and call it a day,” he says.
As usual Streiff over at Redstate has a comprehensive rundown on the Russian invasion of Ukraine (the Putinistas call it “Zelensky’s War” and “the war on Russia). Good reading for the ignorant Putin toadies.
I won’t be watching the Dem convention, so I expect Bitter to give us a rundown of all the speeches with his usual pithy, perspicacious and profoundly insightful comments.
Only plan on watching Walz’s and Harris’ speeches. Will probably switch around between Fox, CNN and MSNBC roundtable discussions at 11:00 each night to sense the mood.

“Our election is about understanding the importance of this beautiful country of ours in terms of what we stand for around the globe as a democracy. As a democracy, we know there’s a duality to the nature of democracy. On the one hand, incredible strength when it is in tact. What it does for its people to protect and defend their rights. Incredibly strong. And incredibly fragile,” Kamala Harris said.

I guess it’s to much to ask that when you start a new thread; you let people know by putting ‘NT’ on the last thread.

For some reason they are hiding the breakdown between Republican/Democrat in this poll.
I couldn’t find it. Maybe, someone else can.

The HHR Putinistas will continue to cheer on the Russian war crimes and the massacre of Ukrainian civilians.
At lease 219 Ukrainian civilians were killed and over 1,000 injured just in July.

It would not surprise me if Joe Biden resigned from the Presidency at some point during the convention effective immediately.

It would surprise me.
The benefit is that it makes Kamala the “incumbent”.
The negative is that it would be the messiest “transition” in history and a tremendous distraction from the campaign.
Most likely there was a deal made where Biden was assured he could stay on IF he gave up the campaign.

Jason,
You’re probably right, especially when the transition is factored in. The two staffs apparently hate each other.
