So just in the last couple of weeks since Cackles was “nominated,” we’ve had massive voter roll purges in OH/NV; VA gov has enacted 2 voter integrity measures; execs from voter machine co. Smartmatic were arrested; GA launched an investigation into 2020. .

DW, now that NV purged the 90,000, do we have current registration numbers there? The GOP was closing the gap, but with so many voters gone now, that should shake up the count.

I don’t have the numbers, but given Trump ‘lost’ NV by only 34,000 votes, having 90,000 ballots NOT printed and mailed all over the place sure helps Trump’s chances there. I recall form 2020 the sidekick of Baris, Robert Barnes (who lives in NV) said he was mailed THREE ballots, and he was voting for Trump.

And Laxalt only lost by 8,000, mostly due to a snow storm in the northern part of the state keeping turnout down in Red areas. I have high hopes for Sam Brown against Jackie Rosen, an accidental Senator if I’ve ever seen one.

NY Times must be too drunk on Harris glee to notice that they missed the chance to report on the 90,000 NV voter purge as a threat to democracy and a racist Republican power grab.

For those keeping score at home, and perhaps worrying about this NC poll being only Trump +3, remember that this state is second only to WI for being highly polarized. Neither party is going to run away with a statewide election here unless one candidate is simply awful.
But going back to the 7 NC polls that were prior to Biden’s 6/27 debate debacle, here are Trump’s margins over Biden in the Tar Heel state:
Redfield and Wilton +3
East Carolina U +5
North Star Opinion Research +1
Change Research +3
Prime Group +3
Both Rasmussen and Spry Strategies +8
And we have yet to see a Rasmussen or Spry Strategies of Trump vs Harris, and so the current NC gap of Trump +3 over Harris is roughly the same as the Trump vs Biden before his debate debacle.

As long as the voter purges are removing truly inactive voters, shouldn’t help or hurt either candidate. The concern is when they remove voters who haven’t voted in four years, and they are simply infrequent voters.

Its because there have been Democrat operatives caught saying if you find a ballot, fill it out and put in it. Those removed 90,000 ballots won’t be mailed all over the state of Nevada waiting for Democrats to fill them out and put them into dropboxes.
