I am still very impressed by the speech delivered by Trump’s granddaughter. I know many people list public speaking as their biggest fear but she nailed it. My biggest fear is spiders.

I still think the best speaker they had that can expand the party the most was the Teamster’s Union President. Even though he didn’t endorse Trump he did criticize the Democrats and let his 1.3 million members know that the Republican Party deserves to be taken seriously.

I saw Vance’s speech this am. I think he did fine.
He was funny, folksy, and accomplished what he needed to be.

I don’t feel bad for politicians. That said, I wonder if Biden and Trump wish they had not sought the power of being President. Biden could have stayed in the Senate making unimportant speeches and spending weekends in his beach house. Trump could have remained a Democrat billionaire with business and tv projects and a lot of golf.
