According to an AARP commissioned poll conducted by Fabrizio, Lee & Associates (R) and Impact Research (D). The press release was very poorly written up, without even providing all the data for the actual candidates who are on the ballot or expect to be on the ballot. I will revise the post if they release more detailed information about this poll. Thread revised with all the data:

Thanks Walt. Another character to the story is Bea Ware, the attorney who warned the principle characters that it just wouldn’t work. Then there is Paige Turner, the librarian who couldn’t decide which place had the better environment to sit, eat, and read. Her dilemma led to a mental breakdown, so she became a regular patient of Dr. Upson Downs, Psychiatrist.

i read NY times assessment of the election and Biden’s surge in the polling Lol.
they state: “Biden began to rise in the polls around the time of his State of the Union address in March. He then rose further after Trump’s felony conviction last month.”
they then point to his surge being because of his focus on the important issues – “Biden’s climate record and excellence in foreign policy.” (I kid you not)
then give us the most important issues for voters: (in order) democracy,, economic policy, health care, labor unions, global alliances, immigrationand more.
you can’t make this stuff up. But there is no media bias and the left is very in tune with Americans

Maybe “democracy” is a top voting issue in San Francisco or Radnor. In most of America very few view it a a voter priority.
“Global alliances”. I think they are important but if you ask 2000 people around here not ONE will list that.
“Labor unions”. Only 11% of America is unionized, and even among those members I doubt most will list as their top voting priority.

Former President Donald Trump rejected a suggestion from evangelist Franklin Graham that he stop using profanity during his speeches. During recent remarks, the former president explained that while he is trying to cut down on his use of bad words, he also knows his base appreciates it.
He’s probably right.
While addressing a crowd at a Philadelphia rally, Trump brought up a letter Graham had sent to him suggesting that his speeches would be better if he did not curse. “He said, ‘President, I love your speaking. Your ability to speak is incredible. Your storytelling is great, but it could be so much better if you didn’t use foul language,’” Trump recounted before giving his response: “He’s wrong.”
The former president characterized Graham as “a man I like” and someone he admires “so much.”
I agree.
There is no upside for Trump in being “nicer’.

Trump’s main appeal is that he “fights for you’.
Its like getting a guard dog to defend your property.
You don’t want a “nice dog” defending your property or a “nice politician” defending your interests.
You want “attack dogs” for both purposes.
That is why although I often disagree with Trump on content, I don’t fault his combative nature. Win or lose, it is what defines him.

“Conservative candidate Don Stewart has won the longtime federal Liberal stronghold of Toronto-St. Paul’s, a stunning result that raises questions about Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s future.
Stewart’s victory is shocking because the seat has been held by the Liberals for more than 30 years — even through the party’s past low points, such as the 2011 federal election that returned just 34 Liberal MPs to Parliament.
Before Monday’s vote, a Conservative candidate hadn’t been competitive in Toronto–St. Paul’s since the 1980s. The party hadn’t won a seat in urban Toronto since the 2011 federal election.”

“TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign chair, Jen O’Malley Dillon, told Puck News that Florida is not in play this November.
During her interview with John Heilemann, she laid out the campaign’s “six in six” strategy focusing on the battleground states of Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona and Georgia.
Heilemann also asked if the campaign saw North Carolina as a battleground state.
“Yes,” O’Malley Dillon replied.
“Florida?” he asked.
“No,” she said in response.
“Thank you,” Heilemann said. “I was afraid you were going to lie.”

The problem with this is Biden also has to defend Minnesota, Virginia, New Hampshire, and Maine, and probably New Mexico and Colorado are not far off the map. And who knows about Oregon, New Jersey, and Delaware with Kennedy on the ballot?
With Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada increasingly staying out of the margin of error, Trump’s floor is 268.

People don’t realize that pollsters do keep polling even when its not a congressional election year or a presidential election year. For instance, if 2024 was a presidential election year, Fairleigh Dickinson University would be putting out a series of polls tracking the race in New Jersey. But instead, because 2024 is not a presidential year, they are reduced to only being able to poll things like which NJ governor is best remembered:

Zzzzzz…. what a crock of crap.
Nobody that voted for FDR is alive and JFK was elected 64 years ago, anyone who voted for him would be at least 82 even if they were only 18 in 1960. The idea that they have indoctrinated anyone to vote like they did is ridiculous.
In addition, Delco has become MORE Democratic not because of blue collar votes but because of the woke wine sipping college educated (brainwashed) socialists that have moved in to the Philly suburbs. And if the country clubs are now Dem instead of R, that just proves my point.
The blue collar vote in Delco is only 31% of the population and is probably following a nationwide (and PA) trend towards Rs, or at least towards Trump.
I doubt Radnor itself is “blue collar” but it went 70-30 for Biden. Aston, which Bitter mentions, went 54-46 Trump. The median income in Aston is $57k much lower than the average $77k of Delco and much much lower than Radnor’s $88k.
It is easy to debunk Bitter’s lies, just do a little research.
