What happened to Chicon’s theory that not that many people will vote for Trump AND the Dem for Senate?

Of note here is the fact that Emerson dropped North Carolina and replaced it with Minnesota.
Overall decent results here, though the numbers from NV are disappointing. But that’s polling. Ups and downs.

Maybe Janzam the Putin Nurse is having a bad day. This will certainly bring a smile to her lips and lift her spirits.

More escalation by those damn Ukrainians.

i guess they just don’t understand they will be a lot happier if they are enslaved by the nice people who indiscriminately bomb their homes.

I didn’t want this generous offer to go unnoticed on the previous thread.
jason Slava Ukraini!
Give me enough warning I can have Mrs. jason make her famous varmint stew. The ingredients are kinda pot luck, but you can usually count on squirrel and possum, if you are lucky woodchuck and coon too.

It’s too bad Walt’s recipe for mammoth tartare has been lost over time.

Jason, are you kidding, the popularity of his recipe was the beginning of the end for the mammoth

I know, that is why it is a tragedy it is lost. It could probably be adapted for elephant tartare.

I know, I know, it could spell doom for the elephants too.

“Ukraine’s raucous and competitive television news landscape before the war was consolidated by Mr. Zelensky’s government into a single, state-controlled broadcast after Russia’s invasion. The government presented the arrangement, known as the Telemarathon, as necessary for airing reliable news during the war.
But it excluded opposition channels and ran such consistently upbeat reports even as fighting bogged down that a majority of Ukrainians now say they do not trust it.”

I guess the Dems don’t see the problem that their “leaders” are Obama, Hillary, Schumer and Pelosi.
“A Democrat strategist told the Daily Mail that if Biden did poorly with his first debate with Trump or he continues to see falling poll numbers, the top four leaders of his own party may come together to force him to step down.
“The only people who could force him out would be Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer,” the strategist told the Daily Mail, adding, “It would have to be the four of them collectively.”
Pelosi is 84. Schumer 73. Hillary 77.
Can you see them telling Biden to move on because he is too old?

Janzam trusts Putin’s Official State News Agencies and regurgitates Russian fake news and propaganda here daily but has the chutzpah to criticize Ukraine’s news as “unreliable”.
You have to admit the little brainwashed Putin toady is strongly vying for HHR Clown.

Janzam’s BS about Ukranian freedom of the press is easily disputed by the ranking by reporters without borders.
Russia ranks a stunning 162 out of 175 countries, yet Janzam thinks Russian news is the paragon of truth.
Ukraine ranks 61st, actually improved 18 slots since last year, meaning freedom of the press is INCREASING in Ukraine, not decreasing.

”Surveillance, threats to be enlisted in the army, increased control by the authorities… Political pressure and obstacles are mounting on the Ukrainian media. Since the beginning of 2024, at least five journalists have been under surveillance or threatenedbecause of publications on corruption.
A case of political interference also came to light, with the appointment of a military representative as director of the national news agency Ukrinform on 24 May and the revelation on 29 May of internal censorship, with a list of guests to be banned having been circulated to staff. And from now on, quotes and interviews with members of the armed forces must be sent three days before publication to the centre for strategic military communications, according to a military decree unveiled by the media on 12 June. As well as acting as a deterrent, such a verification period limits coverage of the war in real time.”

Above is a current analysis of Ukraine’s “fragile” ability to practice independent journalism, from the same site Jason Slava Ukraini tried to mislead as to the real nature of Ukrainian freedom of the press. Also the piece I earlier posted was from the NYTs, not exactly a Russian propaganda organization. Stop trying to smother the truth in lies, Jason Slava Ukraini, just so you can continue your own Ukrainian propaganda campaign that is very similar to the one you oppose Russia doing.

So no response to the Russian attack Jason posted earlier?

What kind of a response do you want? Russia is doing what it has threatened to do – escalate their attacks until some kind of peace agreement can be reached. Accompanying their threat are warnings towards the U.S. for providing more weaponry to Ukraine, and essentially playing a proxy war with Russia. Everyone here is aware of Russia’s nuclear and weapon prowess, and yet there are those who just shrug and want to poke the bear into even more aggressive counter measures.

Looks to me that the voters in these swing states above collectively realize that Biden is awful and they choose Trump over Biden.
****************************************
BUT they also do not like or trust Trump very much and are willing to vote D for the senate seats to keep Trump (as president) on a short leash.

As to the House of Rep., you would think that voters realize that there are a lot of kooks in the House on the D side and this would encourage them to elect more Rs, but the fact is, there are a lot of kooks in the House on the R side as well.
I hope both sides throw out the kooks, but this is unlikely to happen.
