“This conviction is gonna backfire on the Democrats,” he told host Jesse Watters. “I think every time that President Trump has been indicted, that his approval ratings actually increase — his popularity increased. I think there’s a large number of Americans who are gonna see this as the politicization of, the weaponization of the enforcement agencies. And I think it’s gonna hurt.
It’s bad for our democracy,” Kennedy added. “I think that […] the DNC feels like it’s like it has a candidate that cannot win fair and square in the polls. And so they have to win in the courts.”
A costumed version of the “Sesame Street” star danced in a drum line before Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris spoke at a rally Wednesday in Philadelphia. Sesame Workshop denied responsibility for the Elmo appearance in a statement to The National Desk.
Sesame Workshop is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization. In the video you referenced, that is not a licensed Sesame Street costume character,” Beatrice Chow, vice president for public relations and publicity, told TND.”
Given Elmo’s problematic relationship with children via his creator (Kevin Clash), I think it was totally appropriate for him to be there and offer an implicit endorsement of the Biden team.
”My definition of a free society is a society where it is safe to be unpopular. Where it’s safe to say what’s on your mind, especially when everyone disagrees. Where it’s safe to believe what you believe, especially when everyone else’s beliefs stand elsewhere.” — Adlai Stevenson
Adlai Stevenson was a Democrat. (In fact, he ran for president in 1952 and 1956, losing twice to Dwight Eisenhower.)
Hard to believe today when the Donkey Party is composed almost entirely of radical leftists bent on suppressing or eliminating any belief, thought, or utterance that it fears could possibly tend to lessen its grip on power. It’s not just “The Squad,” or the likes of Adam Schiff who are keen to stymie, cancel, erase, or shut down opposing viewpoints. Nearly all of today’s Democrats disdain the First Amendment in their tyrannical lust for eternal power and control, President Biden chief among them.”
Chekote reminded me of Tina – an interesting, independent-minded poster. Traits that are not necessarily appreciated around here, as they challenge the a**hole contingency’s opinions too much.
The following is how the Dems and their MSM side-kicks intend to name-tag and portray the conviction fiasco. It’s going to be non-stop “falsifying business records,” and “hush money to porn star” yellow journalism sensationalism.
”WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Ten percent of Republican registered voters say they are less likely to vote for Donald Trump following his felony conviction for falsifying business records to cover up a hush money payment to a porn star, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll that closed on Friday.”
btw those ten percent were already not going to vote for him, so nothings changed. And…he’ll get some who were on the fence to Vote for him after this travesty.
To demonstrate how delusional Democrats are, this from MSLDS
“The good thing, the one good thing that happened here is that this case was brought in a state that no Republican controls, because if it did, the same thing that happened in Georgia would have happened here. Thank God for the state of New York, Donald Trump’s home state. Because there was no way for him to interfere with the process of justice. And in this rare instance, as somebody who is quite critical many times of the criminal justice system, the system actually worked the way it is supposed to work. And I agree with you, the one thing that would ruin this very rare moment when we can all say the criminal justice system can actually see past your power and see past your race and your wealth, the only thing that would ruin it is if anyone finds out who these jurors are because God help them if that happens.”
Morning Consult out with new national poll, Trump 44, Biden 45, taken 5/31. Their prior poll was Trump 44, Biden 42, but all year, ALL of their polls have been taken over three days. Here they cut it to one day to rush out with a poll showing a swing to Biden after the “verdict”. But even so, the numbers don’t make much sense, why would Trump’s number stay the same, and Biden’s jump up three points? Of course statistical noise is in play here too, but clearly they were trying to help out the narrative they want, by chopping the poll down from 3 days to 1.
Now more Dems are suggesting that Trump should be pardoned because they fear he will only be advantaged by the recent verdict. Wow, more strategic manipulation.
I would not be shocked if she did indeed, pardon Trump to help gain the political advantage. If I were Trump I would refuse to accept it…if that’s actually possible

Don’t insult Tina. Chekote was a shrill hard leftist. She earned the nickname “Scissors” because of her strident support of partial birth abortion.
