Just read today that Biden’s HHS secretary wants to withhold federal funding to any hospital who opts out of doing these horrific surgeries involving sexual mutilation of young people. I just don’t understand how we got to the place we’re at where parents have to advocate for keeping intact the biological genders of their kids!

Yep, I believe Vic is referring to the “female circumcision” that is practiced in places around the world. Whenever the surgical knife is wielded against the genital area, the nerves are cut, turning one of the most sensitive parts of the body (hence the enjoyment of intimacy) into a dead zone with no feeling.

Eletric circuit in garage was not working.
Replaced the GFI outlet about 6 times. Still woud not work.
7th time was the charm….BUT, if I push the outlet back into the wall to secure it and put the decorative plate on it will malfunction. I have checked a dozen times all the wiring within the wall behind the outlet. I am stumped.
Secondly, on Saturday afternoon while mowing, a bolt came out that holds up one side of the mowing deck. I could not find the bolt, had no replacement. tied it up best I could with a rope (the WV way). Yard looks awful with being mowed and the mowing deck being higher on hone side by about 2 inches.
After I half ass successfully fixed the wiring problem, I tackled the mower. Found the lost bolt, went to Lowes to get a replacement bolt and nuts and other things I might need.
Mower is now FIXED!
Smoking a victory cigar before I go have supper. I skipped lunch because I was doing laundry and electrical troubleshooting.

I was reading something interesting about helicopters. I always wondered that since helicopters can hover, when pilots get into trouble either because of fog or unknown terrain or spatial disorientation why they just don’t “stop” until they get their bearings or just slowly descend for a safe landing in a field or clearing.
Evidently once you lose orientation that is not really possible, you can only hover if you have a visual reference.

my mistake, I conflated Delaware Law School with Univ of Delaware, and yes, bottom of class Biden went to Syracuse, which…IS NO BETTER. To get in you need a 154 on the LSAT, which leaves it out of the top 100 law schools, and under the prestigious intellectual institution of the University of St. Thomas.
That’s who we have as a President…and it shows.

BREAKING: Trial now resumes after delay following fiery exchange between Merchan and Costello about courtroom conduct. Merchan is absolutely seething over Costello’s damning testimony. The type of treatment Costello, an experienced prosecutor who once worked for the US Attorney’s Office for New York in the 1970s and early 1980s, is receiving on the witness stand from the judge is disgusting. Merchan is visibly perturbed, condescending, and downright abusive of the witness on the stand. Outrageous behavior from a judge, and totally inappropriate for any courtroom! No decorum whatsoever!
The perfect counter witness to the lying Cohen is the former attorney of Cohen, who got a lawyer/client privilege waiver from Cohen, leaving Costello legally free to expose all of Cohen’s lies. However, apparently Judge Merchan threw a hissy fit over any truth being revealed about the prosecutors star witness against Trump. I can’t believe all the judicial misconduct being exhibited by the court under this perverse judge!
