LOL, I just happened to be checking my email. pure luck on a Saturday afternoon. I wonder if I should turn on notifications.
Took time in the middle of the day to watch Christian Scott pitch against the Braves. It’s about the best I am going to get this season.
Thank God for the Rangers, looking to close it out against Carolina tonight

Trump confirmed on Truth social what his son and “Gateway Pundit” said that Haley is not up for VP consideration. However, he “wishes her well.”

Just read an article. California unemployment is rising.
Some people are paying $18 for a Big Mac combo?

I also read Turleys article about the Fat Albert trial. He indicates that the Commie Judge should approve trumps motion to dismiss. There are no crimes. This trial should never have even commenced.

That Big Mac price is partly due to Newsom’s $20 minimum wage law. Also free healthcare for illegals, with San Diego having the brunt of crossings.

I wrote about this here when the fib first showed those pics. POTUS would not receive place holders and the documents were not thrown on the floor like that.
Moreover, the warrant was overly broad and unconstitutional. Don’t know why a magistrate was involved in a warrant involving a high profile person.

Jan- Where do you get the get 80,000 at the Trump rally. I listen to a radio show that interviewed the organizers yesterday and they expected 30,000.
LikeLike
The expectation was 40,000. At the rally today, the commentators said it was 80,000, possibly the biggest political rally ever. I saw the crowd size and it was enormous- shut down the beach, boardwalk and park areas for security’s sake.

Just curious who the commentators were. Trump? If it is true, fine.

Except for Giants and Jets games but I get your point.

NY Post says 80,000 so it seems close (they are a conservative paper for NYC)

Whatever the count, it appears to be a lot of people there. One of the largest rallies I have seen.

I heard it was only 79,999. Trump’s such a liar.

President Trump just asked the crowd that if they can, please donate to the Republican party and not a peep. The quietest I heard the crowd all night. Yikes. The GOP has a huge problem

It does look like the rally has a lot more people than expected. This is a resort with a lot of attractions and possibly a lot of people were already there and took the opportunity to attend plus the people that came just for the rally. The weather was great and that helped. If you look at the aerial shot that is a lot of people, does look like it could fill a stadium of 80,000. In any event, you know it was a success because the Marxists at the Philadelphia Inquirer hated it.
Their take:
Donald Trump delivered a predictable but also somewhat rambling, expletive-heavy campaign speech on the beach in Wildwood Saturday. Wildwook rally shows Trump’s base has only grown louder and prouder since 2016.

Right Sided Broadcasting has followed and filmed Trump rallies for years. They started as a small college-type group, and with private donations have expanded to more mature, professional commentators. They are the ones giving crowd estimates.

You have to admit Allred is a good name for a Marxist.

Just an observation after looking at today’s rally – I think Bergum is definitely high on the VP Trump list. Trump profusely praised him and his wife after Bergum gave a well articulated speech, noting his expertise in energy etc. If I were a betting person, I would bet on him getting the nod…..which I’m not entirely sold on as being the right person.

I don’t think Burgum is a good pick.
Cons
Not really the future heir for Trump, he would be 72 in 2029.
Crony capitalist. No conservative vision.
From ND, doesn’t bring any EVs to the table
Pros
Rich
Not very Trumpy

Burgun’s wife is an alcoholic, 22 years in recovery as she puts it. That will get her on the TV circuit and could be a “human interest story”.

Still think Haley secures his election and Scott comes close, and would be a good President. I don’t see a way on to the ticker for Rubio, or that he gains many votes.

Haley is a non starter. The base dislikes her, even though Vic and Bitter think otherwise.

“An enormous crowd descended upon Wildwood, New Jersey, on Saturday for former President Donald Trump’s rally in the traditionally Democrat state, and the official estimate of spectators in attendance was updated after the event to more than 100,000 attendees. A senior Trump campaign aide told Breitbart News shortly before the rally that estimates were that 80,000 were in attendance–but clearly that underestimated the numbers.Lisa Fagan, the spokesperson for the city of Wildwood, told the Associated Press the official estimate was between 80,000 and 100,000 rally-goers i)n attendance to see Trump: (X) A Trump campaign source told Breitbart News that after the event began, Fagan updated her official estimate.”

You are an idiot.
Vic and Bitter think nothing of the sort, I am sure they agree the “base doesn’t like her”.
But like me, they probably think she brings in more voters that expand the base than any other pick.

Zzzzzzz If “the base” will sit home and allow Biden to be re-elected over ANY issue or VP pick, the “base” is a group of morons who should just vote for Biden and be honest about it. The ONLY choice is Biden or Trump. Everything else is a distraction from defeating Biden.

Since I began voting in 1986, my first priority was to beat Democrats. My record of voting only for Republican nominees is 100%. I doubt anybody at HHR can equal that record. In 2016, Trump was probably 50th on my list of candidates for GOP nomination – especially since he was not a Republican. Still, he did win the nomination so he received my vote. In 2020, he proved he was a good President so he got my vote again. In 2024, he is probably 40th on my list but he has the nomination so he will get my vote again. We win or we lose. The price for losing is unacceptable.
