  2. To answer the question, the moment we set a limit it immediately becomes the next Afghanistan where they are just waiting for our withdrawal date to finish the take over.

  5. It will go on as long as there is money to be made from providing war arms. The reasons for war are usually garbed in slogans dealing with “it’s for the good of the people”. In actuality, war involves power and money for others – the aristocracy, the oligarchs, the elites of countries. The people are the ones on the front lines, fighting and dying so others will reap the benefits of whatever a “win” looks like.

In the example of Ukraine, there was a window of opportunity, early on, to sidestep this brutal war. But, the U.S. and UK hurried over to slap such a peaceful agreement down, burying it under the manure of how much a threat Putin is to the world’s national security. A grossly under-reported national security threat, however, has been not only our open border, but China’s infiltration here and abroad, our unsustainable debt, and the cratering of our American culture – all substantially put on hold as tongues wag about the importance of supplying more aid (pension, salary payments) and weapons to Ukraine, making the arms industry very happy.

  6. Jan continues to embarrass herself by claiming Putin was forced to abandon an awesome peace deal by the evil Americans and British so he had to order a brutal invasion.

  7. BTW, there was a piece over the weekend saying Zelenskyy is now lobbying for an agreement with the US to be on the hook for more payments to Ukraine for the next 10 years, making Ukraine a long term war. Yippee for the war mongers!
