I guess my point is jason, that they COULD replace him. I get that they have no bench. But even if nature took its course, and Biden didn’t wake up some morning then they would have to replace him. They could pull out someone like Mark Warner or Tim Kaine if they had to. Not saying that such a person would poll better than Biden, at least right away, but it is possible for them to find a replacement if they had to.

The aggregator at the top of the page has been updated, and as you can see, the Trump floor of 268 EVs has solidified even stronger with these Bloomberg polls. However, the flip side is the margin of error states drifted further toward Biden, except that WI improved slightly toward Trump.
But with 268 well outside the MoE and probably even the Margin of Fraud, any candidate would much rather be in Trump’s position right now versus Biden.

Portend of things to come? As of this morning, with ~95% in, Trump, unopposed, won Pennsylvania with 788,833 votes for 82.8% of the vote. Haley, who dropped out weeks ago, still received 156,539 for 16.4%.
Biden, also running essentially unopposed, received 921,505 votes for 88.8%.
In 2020, Trump lost the state by ~82,000 votes.
Will enough of those Haley voters, clearly itching to make a statement here, switch to Trump in the general to make a difference? I just don’t see the enthusiasm on the GOP side.

JeffP is always willing to show his TDS ignorance.
His comments on PA are asinine.
Here were my comments this morning. Without knowing exactly what areas had competitive primaries that brought out more voters, saying the primary vote showed “lack of enthusiasm” is a crock of crap
“Hard to read anything into this but Rs only trailed D’s by 47k votes on the Presidential ballots in PA. Also Dean Phillips, who has much less name recognition than Haley got 7% of the Dem vote.
However the D vote for Casey was 110k more than what McCormick got.
Rs exceeded the D vote in Berks, Bucks, Northhampton and Monroe and were about even in Lehigh, Dauphin and Centre, these were all counties Biden won in 2020. But Erie, which was won narrowly by Biden in 2020, had a big D advantage in this primary.”
LikeLike
JeffP and I have had our differences in the recent past, however the PA primary numbers he posted were troublesome for republicans, including the presidential race. He may be right about the R’s chances of winning that state come November. One small positive glimmer, reported by those on the ground in PA, is that there are lots of Trump signs and virtually no Biden ones. Maybe someone living in PA can validate that observation.

There were not many competitors races so turnout would be lower. For every place with many Trump signs, I am sure there were areas with many Biden signs. In my area, there are not signs for Trump or Biden.

Also, I’ve been hearing a lot about Biden’s progressive fingers disseminating the core protections of Title 9 for women, giving the gender obsessed crowd the ability to control all female/male areas by simply assigning themselves the gender they chose – biology be dam*ed.
