Phil, thanks for that update. Nearly every poll in the recent week and a half or so where the same pollster had polled earlier, has shown movement toward the Republican. I am feeling much better about Texas and Ohio.

Certainly agree that signs don’t mean much outside of showing enthusiasm. Beto had the market cornered on signs in 2018. Still, enthusiasm, even if it’s negative enthusiasm toward the freak is what it is going to take to pull out Texas. It’s what Republicans are counting on in two weeks.

Forgot to give you a bridge update from playing bridge on Monday. I know there are scored on here who wait impatiently for my bridge play post game update.
I had 3860 points. Came in 3rd. Top score was an insane 5900.
I was very happy I came in 3rd as they had earlie designated whoever comes on 3rd winds the pennies we out in when we fail to make a bid. I got 118 pennies and was running very short of them.

We don’t have registration by party in Texas so it’s hard to track. You can probably gain some insight by looking at turnout in Republican rural areas vs turnout in Democratic urban areas.

–Apparently there is no trouble on France, Britain, Belgium, etc. in relation to riots by leftist/mass migrant waves.
–Alberta province in Canada , voters decided to stay as part of Canada by lopsided vote

The signs are a good sign, pun intended.
Frankly, I would be embarrassed putting up a Paxton sign just like I wouldn’t say I would vote for him if polled.
The fact signs are coming up this late in the game might signal a return to the fold so to speak by R voters unhappy. with this choice.

Bongino has stuff like “new poll shows GOP leading 7 key senate races” but when you click the link, it wasn’t a new poll, it was a link to X account where someone listed the culmination of polls done over a couple months by co/efficient.
Its a misleading headline. Bongino has also been drifting too hard toward some of the “Trump as a victim” stuff.

The later St. Pete Polls taken 10/5 – 10/7 has Moody up two, 47/45.

more registered republicans have shown up at the polls so far in Pinellas county, and its nearly tied in Hillsborough county in Florida. So if there is a blue wave, its not showing up yet in Florida.
