Here is where Schumer and Jeffries get their orders….

DEMOCRATIC (DSA) Party Platform:

Strip Americans of all their hard-earned resources and retirement savings, forcing them to live hand-to-mouth, and then replacing Americans by blowing all that money on illegals brought in from every cesspool country in the world; resulting in the USA becoming a third world country dominated by crime, injustice, and corruption.

So Janzam is happy Musk is going to have to spend $200 million in Texas to beat a certified commie whacko?

He wouldn’t need to spend ANY money if Cornyn was on the ticket.

This is $200 million that could be spent on other candidates, not propping up Mr. Baggage.

  4. Actually, that poll is probably good news for Paxton.

I doubt Hinojosa is tied with Abbott, so Paxton is probably not losing by 5.

But even if he is tied, what other reason could there be besides he is a really bad candidate?

    No firearms are allowed.

Contestants get to pick a limited number of items to take. They can choose among items such as knives, axes, shovels, tarps, fishing nets, pots, etc.

For this challenge you could pick ONE of the following in the fishing and hunting category

Fishing kit (300 yards of fishing line and 25 barbless/barbed hooks)
    1 Gill net
1 Bow and a set of arrows

It hasn’t dawned on Janzam yet that Abbott appeals to more people than just the “base” she talks about.

He actually appeals to a wider swath of Rs and more indies than Paxton does.

    This isn’t rocket science.

  17. Some idiot just said that the Clancy case DA should be “careful about retryiing the case”because he is running for re-election as a R.

There is only one problem. He is running unopposed.

Somehow I don ‘t think he is worried..

“Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz, the DA behind the prosecution of murder charges again Lindsay Clancy, was born in Brockton and raised in West Bridgewater. He currently lives in Marshfield, where he and his wife raised two sons.

The son of a plumber, he attended Boston College, playing for the hockey team as a walk-on. He went on to graduate from Suffolk University Law School.

Before he was DA, Cruz worked in a private practice, then as an Assistant District Attorney in Plymouth County.

A Republican, Cruz was first elected District Attorney of Plymouth County in 2001. He was reelected in 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022, running twice unopposed, and winning between 57% and 67% of the vote when facing a challenger. He was unopposed in the Sept. 2 Republican primary and does not have a Democratic Challenger for the general election in November.

In 2022, Cruz was elected president of the Massachusetts District Attorneys Association. He is the longest-serving of the state’s 11 district attorneys.

They all get a ferro rod. Some items you get no matter what like the sleeping bag, they are considered essential.

  19. They also get a choice of rations.

    2 lbs of pemmican

    Biltong

    Hardtack biscuits

    Chocolate

    3 lb block of salt.

For any inland location I think I would choose the salt, because you can use it to preserve food.

The rest of the stuff is not going to do you very good in a 90 day challenge. Of course, it keeps you from going hungry the first couple of days

According to AI the ferro rod was not included in the 10 items for Alone 13

However Ziga did swap it out for something else..

Typical 10-Item Gear List for Season 13

Contestants on Alone pick 10 items from a pre-approved master list. Alongside a ferro rod, the standard 10-item loadout generally includes:

    • Cooking Pot: Usually a 2-quart stainless steel, cast iron, or titanium pot for boiling water and cooking.
    • Sleeping Bag: Heavy-duty cold-weather sleeping bag.
    • Axe: For felling trees and processing firewood.
    • Saw: Folding or pocket saw for shelter and firewood building.
    • Multitool: Versatile tool featuring pliers, blades, and screwdrivers.
    • Bow and Arrows: Recurve or self-made bow for big game hunting.
    • Fishing Line and Hooks: Basic angling gear for local fish.
    • Snare Wire: For trapping small game like hares or grouse.
    • Paracord (550): Military-grade cordage for lashing and general camp utility.
    • Optional 10th item: Frequently a gill net, extra rations (like pemmican), or a shovel.

They say it would need a referendum, except nothing in the MO state constitution mandates a referendum.

I think that work requirements should be reinstated for welfare benefits. That helped balance the budget under Clinton/Gingrich.

I also propose means testing social security. And, giving workers the option to opt out to forgo any future benefits but to no longer have to pay FICA.

No. The problem is even if you opt out if you run out of money for retirement you are going to be a burden on society anyway, you will still cost the government money because they won’t let you starve or deny medical care.

More interested in the interview of three jurors about the one male holdout that kept saying he had doubt about the state’s case but couldn’t move because of the manner of the deaths of those kids. That basically went against the judge’s instructions.
