  2. Trump just told Iran he will blow up one bridge or power plant for every commercial ship that is fired on. For some reason I tend to believe him this time. I know. I know. His credibility regarding threats is pretty much in the toilet. Still, I tend to think he is pissed enough at this point to follow through. No one likes it when they feel they’ve been made a fool of, especially someone who has the ego of a Trump. Plus, I think he’s had enough of listening to Vance’s “they are reasonable and want to make a deal” crap. All evidence to the contrary. That’s pretty much a given now.

  3. Phil, Vance is slipping. He is starting to seem like a lightweight. Rubio would run away with the 2028 general election for POTUS. Lets nominate him.

I like Vance personally, I am not a fan of all his positions. But I think Rubio is a more appealing candidate for a general election.

    Phil is hard to please.

He wanted Trump to bomb the heck out of Iran.

We have bombed the heck out of Iran for 7 straight days.

    He is still not happy.

The problem with Phil’s magic wand strategy is that there is no magic wand available.

The carrot and stick approach is the only one that has a chance of working. With every step, the Iranians want to test how far they can go and what they can get away with. The pain for doing that has to be severe enough that it brings them back to the table but not so severe that it ends the negotiations.

The other two alternatives are an all out war where the end result is either there is regime change or the Iranians last long enough to cause us to have to retreat altogether.

    There are no miracle solutions.

Weren’t we assured that illegal voting was “extremely rare”?

Funny how Sherrill throws Murphy under the bus….

New Jersey was thrown headlong into the tense national debate over the integrity and security of elections Tuesday when Gov. Mikie Sherrill disclosed that roughly 6,600 noncitizens in the state were mistakenly registered to vote and about 400 of them cast ballots illegally.

Sherrill, a first-year Democrat, said a “serious” software error in the state Department of Motor Vehicles’ automatic voter registration system led to the improper registrations from June 2023 to June 2024. She noted that’s three years before she took office, when her Democratic predecessor, Phil Murphy, was governor.

She also insisted there’s “no evidence at this time that any elections were swayed.” Sherrill said her administration is investigating and working to rectify the problem.”

We quickly went from “illegal voting doesn’t happen” to “it happens but it doesn’t sway elections”.

    5 in one hour?….Horny bastard….no, I am not jealous of his hmmm….prowess..

“A 27-year-old man has been found guilty of multiple sexual offences after assaulting five women in one morning.

A jury in Jersey’s Royal Court found Abdelkarim Arfaoui guilty of 10 counts after deliberating for four hours over the attacks in St Helier, which occurred in less than an hour on the morning of Sunday 30 November 2025.”

  12. Miracle solutions? Bombed them for seven days? Seven WHOLE days?! Wow! What you are conveniently leaving out is we unilaterally gave them ten weeks off. Got played big time. Please tell me what we got for our restraint.

“Not so severe that it ends the negotiations”? That’s what you don’t get. There have been no negotiations….the talks were always just a facade. Nothing has changed with them in 47 years and the past six months have provided ample proof of that.

Regime change. No more frivolous threats that we immediately backtrack on. Finish them. We have no choice but to go the entire way with them. Troops on the ground? Of course not. Bomb the living shit out of the MFs….and no pauses while they play their stall games. Turn Mossad loose on their leaders. Kill them all. Kill the bastards. You aren’t getting a negotiated agreement from these savages and if you do it isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. The so called MOU proved that.

They only understand one thing. Power and their whole intent is to remain in power. So take them out by making it so painful they can’t stay in power.

If you think that there is any other way to get them to cease their efforts to acquire a nuclear weapon you are living in lala land. With a nuclear weapon they don’t even have to use it….just threaten to use it and the strait opens only when they choose to open it. They have the leverage for as long as they want. There is no putting the genie back in the bottle once these crazies have the bomb. They know it and by now we ought to know it.

  14. It would be political malpractice if the Republican in every competitive race doesn’t ask the question of his or her opponent over and over, “when will you denounce the communists running within the Democratic party?”
