The funny thing is Morocco has close relations with Israel, the King of Morocco is pro-West and wants nothing to do with radical Islam.
Morocco and Israel maintain close, continuously deepening diplomatic, military, and economic relations, anchored by the 2020 Abraham Accords. Bilateral ties are robust, highlighted by high-level defense agreements—including a joint military work plan focused on drone production, intelligence sharing, and air defense systems.
Key dimensions of their alliance include:

Amazing fact.
There are approximately 1 million Jewish people of Moroccan descent living in Israel. This makes them the largest ethnic subgroup of Mizrahi Jews and one of the largest Jewish communities in the country overall.
While modern censuses count around 472,800 people who were either born in Morocco or have a Moroccan-born father, the broader cultural community—including second and third-generation Israelis—is estimated at around 1 million.
Considering there are only about 7.2 million Jews in Israel, over 13% have Moroccan ties.

Oh yeah, plenty of instances of Brit soccer hooligans rioting. In fact, they are famous for it. I just think it’s hilarious that there are now enough Muslims living in Britain to have a full scale riot in the host country of Britain. Obviously they haven’t transferred their loyalties to Britain (and won’t). That’s ok. Tearing up London isn’t as bad as their rape gangs running nonstop.

Which is the sect? The gayatollah, the cardboard cut out, or the military remnant?
NEWS: Iranian officials privately told Trump advisers that they made a mistake in shooting at commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz, that the attacks stemmed from an “errant” sect of hardliners who are trying to undermine negotiations, and that they want to keep talking, senior U.S. officials told
. White House wants the regime to publicly acknowledge its mistake, which the Trump administration views as a violation of the ceasefire. Trump has directed his team — led by JD Vance, Jared Kushner, Steve Witkoff, and Marco Rubio — to continue negotiations. The talks are to take place in Oman. The U.S. will respond, using military and economic leverage, if Iran continues to engage in hostile acts, the officials said.

the power to prevent 3 things from. ever happening in U.S. History in the last 100 years,

Good #2, there BL, concur.
I don’t think we could have avoided the initial crash in ‘29 (farm economy was mortgaged to the hilt during the 1920s as even small farmers borrowed to invest in machinery). But it didn’t have to get worse via Hoover, and then stay worse under FDR who had double digit unemployment right through November of 1941 (December dropped to a hair under 10%…I wonder what happened to stimulate growth that month?). I have Al Smith narrowly beat Hoover in ‘28 but get saddled with a Republican Congress, and then take the fall so that we avoid the Hoover wing and get back to someone like Coolidge in 1932.

I oppose a quota system that favors low ranked teams over higher ranked teams, no matter where they are from.
There are several African teams that could play in the WC, Morocco is an example. Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, and Nigeria have fielded good teams in the past.
But it is absurd 4 time champion Italy is out while Curaçao, Cape Verde, Haiti, Jordan, Iraq and New Zealand are in.
Italy is out because it lost to Norway. Curaçao is in because it beat Barbados.

In the past African teams could qualify also, but it was a lot harder. Basically only the 2 best teams qualified.
Now if you come out ahead of a group with Mali, Niger, Burkina and Togo you get into the WC, while Italy, Denmark and Poland are out.
But that is not the only issue. The new format with 48 teams mandates that only 16 are eliminated in the group stage (before with 32 teams half were eliminated). As such a bunch of teams that came in 3rd out of 4 advanced, more woke social engineering.
FIFA makes a lot more money in this format, not to mention the leadership gets a lot more votes to stay in power.
Perhaps a fair solution would be to have a World Cup A and a World Cup B.

If i could go back MORE than 100 years, I would have definitely prevented WW I.
Which would have prevented WW II, the cold war, Korean War, Vietnam War, etc
I would also have prevented the U.S.civil war and saved us from our own unnecessary destruction of things and lost of life, injuries, blood and property.
Who knows…perhaps one of those who died in the Civil war or their now unborn offspring may have found the cure for all cancer or done other incredible things that would have greatly helped humanity.

And beyond that there are developing European nations like Albania whose team was likely much better than many of these African nations, but what chance do they have to ever make it given the stiff competition in Europe?
