US B team lost to Turkey 3-2 last night, Turkey scored with about 5 seconds left on the clock.
Not too worried, the US played without 9 starters, it is a good team but the bench is not strong enough to be competitive in the WC.
The good news was Hershey star Pulisic played for about 30 minutes and showed no sign of injury.

Venezuela Earthquake news
Some troubling unconfirmed reports say that President Trump was responsible for the devastating earthquake in VZ.
They say it was done to deflect attention from the war against Iran, the huge Reflecting Poolhook scandal, the Mandami socialists allies winning in NYC, and of course, the Epstein files.
Trump and his weathy spokesmen have so far NOT been able to provide any proof that Trump was not involved.
Many long time Washington watchers say the fact that Trump hates all foreigners lends credence to these unconfirmed report that Trump is involved somehow in this tragedy….

Now that the soiree is successfully over and things cleaned up… wife and I will begin packing tonight to catch tomorrow morning flight to MSP Airport MN to drive the 4 hours to Northern WI to visit son and his family there.
As we drive thru MN, we will of course be looking for whatever fraud we can find, especially in the Somalia community…

One planned activity in WI is for son and his family to take us out on Lake Superior on a 3 hour tour in the used boat he has purchased.
And possibly look for the Edmund Futzgerald….

I am generally against a lot of crappy teams from Central America, ME, Africa and Asia getting to play in the WC so FIFA fatcats can get votes. So you get Curacao, Panama, Haiti, Qatar, Iran, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia etc. while 4 time champion Italy is out. So are other traditional teams like Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Denmark,Romania and of course Chile. Of the above Iran is still in contention, barely.
Having said that, Ghana, South Africa, Cape Verde and Ivory Coast have played well, so it means Africa is gradually becoming a strong soccer continent.

When I was working I made a trip into Eastern Oregon (from Washington) once a month traveling the ’97’ almost to Crater Lake. I always passed the sign near the very small town of Shaniko telling me that the spot was the 45th Parallel-or half point from the Equator and the North Pole.
I latter learned that the 45th Parallel sign in Oregon also exists in Mt. Hood, Willamette Valley and Pacific Coast areas.

Very. Ice outing on the big and long lake. Part of the one side is owned. T the Johnson family of Joh so. Wax fortune.
We saw some ducks, herons, multiple eagles, loons, deer–including one adult doe swimming across the lake. Nice 16 footer boat with 150 hp motor. Son, daughter in law, 16 year old grand daughter, wife and I. No fish were caught despite best efforts by the Wisconsonians.

I think that any extraterrestrial beings, be they Klingons or others from other galaxies who may have a hankering for sucking blood out of humans, and who share zero values with Americans and who happened to be birthed one second after their spaceship crash landed in the U.S. should be automatically granted U.S. Citizenship and get all sorts of welfare and other free stuff like housing, medical care, education, food stamps, cell phones, guaranteed living wage,. etc for 35 years after which they can successfully run for president of the U.S.
