By the way, the guy who wrote the SAVE Act, Chip Roy, was defeated in TX.
Chip Roy is a Freedom Caucus moron who refused to support Trump and tried to hold the GOP hostage on a lot of House votes. He also said Trump had “committed impeachable offenses” on Jan 6.
He gave up a safe House seat, so good riddance.

They did this with both Beto and Allred, it almost worked with Beto, Allred however lost by like 13.
If Paxton prevails then the Dems will have wasted some money they could use otherwise.

Not good at all for Pratt; he’s been stuck at exactly 22% in every single poll I have see for the past three weeks. If Raman has actually jumped out of the teens and into the mid-20s, she will likely advance along with Bass and ultimately win in November, which would be just as bad a disaster for the city as Bass has been.

THEN, I go home to deal with the IRS refund for me (about $6,000) and son’s refund ($1,500) that we did not get, but did get a letter saying we had failed to provide bank touting numbers so they could be directly deposited. IRS no longer mails the checks to your home.
trying to access my account…lots of trouble working with a half assed half broken laptop that only has an on screen keyboard since the laptop keyboard no longer let’s me use it.
Lots of trouble accessing…what is your password…don’t know it…reset password rigamarole….the IRS send a text messageto phone with 6 digit code….still problems…back and foeth…try calling the nu.bee to talk to a real person…recorded message says they do not take the info I need to give them over the phone…must use IRS website. Round up various documents they will need, drivers license, passport, copy of 2025 taxes that somehow I will have to take phone pictures of and submit…riadblocks….roadiblocks….try logging in various ways…roadblocks…try to use the Phone code app on the letter and access that way….cannot figure it out…ready to bite nails and slay people.
I gave up.
Wife comes home and calmly say she will do the IRS contact work once she comes back from taking a flower arrangemnt down to Hospice intake facity….

Wife worked on the IRS site foe about an hour. Downloaded this and that, sent in a copy of Mt drivers license, take a required selfie, they said yep it is you. And then we were unable to proceed further and provide them with the bank humber and checking account number.
another hour of my life I cannot get back
And I got short with the missis because I ess frustrated, so now there is that to deal with.
