  14. Yeah, Paul. The Iranian people will be upset that the authoritarian regime that has murdered thousands is being decapitated. They will willingly send their children to join hands and surround power plants to protect potential targets. You are delusional.

  15. My guess is that Trump will hit some surprise targets tonight that don’t include power plants.

  16. Phil and DW,

you are both morons if you think this will in any way help the Iranian opposition. All Iranians will support their leaders more thn ever. That is just human nature and we would do the same.

  22. So tell us, Paul. What actually WILL help the Iranian opposition? Your plan?

You don’t have one. Perhaps loading up more cargo planes with hundreds of millions of dollars in cash to send to the mullahs? It worked so well when Obama did it. That REALLY helped the opposition. LOL Now, THAT was truly moronic, but of course you were fine with it.

  23. The opposition was in a stronger position before this war. We should have had operatives in there assisting and determining the level of resistance (and we likely did). Trump blew any ability to overthrow the regime through these actions which make all Iranians into lifelong enemies of the US.

  24. yes the Obama deal was much better for the opposition. And worked well until Trump blundered his way through everything during his first term.

  25. Obama and Biden did nothing. Zero. Nada. Zippo. How exactly was the opposition stronger? You pulled that one out of your ass….and of course, if not for Trump these lunatics would already have a nuclear bomb. Think they wouldn’t use it? If so, you haven’t been paying attention over the last 47 years. Think again.

  26. Worked well?

    I give up. LOL

  27. Trump is the one who pulled out the treaty that was keeping them from a bomb. The color revolution that Obama was encouraging was a natural precurser of the current opposition. It needed to be continually encouraged and built through Obama’s years and then followed by Trump. But Trump shot himself in the foot and killed all of that.

  28. Yeah, the mullahs were adhering to “the agreement” alright. Centrifuges buried deep in mountains that were churning away to enrich uranium for “peaceful purposes”. You absolutely live in fantasyland.

  30. BTW, how many billions more of American dollars should we have continued to ship to the mullahs which they turned over to their terrorist proxies. Three hundred million? Four hundred million? Half a billion? Yeah, it was working like a charm alright.

  31. I don’t know what you are talking about. None of that money belonged to America.

  32. The money was frozen Iranian assets. And it was a very small amoount compared to what Trump has handed over to Iran by allowing them to sell oil to China.

Totally, and in all other ways, completely uninformed. I know someone who works for our gov’t who is an expert on all things Iran, Afghanistan, and that whole area. He knows all the people groups, and all the angles. One day he spent just 30 minutes just telling me some of the basics and it was very informative. Your comment above is beyond absurd for so many reasons. That’s why I offered to take it down to spare you further embarrassment.

–went to pharmacy to pick up refill and get an extenstion formy inhaler. Little plastic thing that fits in your hand. Pharmacy only can only provide you one if you have Dr. write a prescription. Cost is $45.

start to replace the last 5 smoke detectors and they will not fit, despite all sorts of finagaling. Gove up and pit the old one back up.

–come home and find a big assed rat in the have a heart trap by garden shed. Take him several miles away to the other side of a wide and deep creek to let him out.

–come home and wife has decided I need to go get 3 rolls of sod to replace weedy dead grass area bt fish pond.

Now off the dig out dirt and cut and lay sod.

I have done this kind of work successfully before.

I am a sod buster, buster.

  40. DW: You are right that Iran is a diverse population and many of the groups hate the Islamic regime intensely for good reason. And I do not know (nor do any of us for that matter) what is happening on the ground with these groups. But, I know that an outside force destroying a country tends to cause diverse groups to rally together. I may be wrong.

Damm, Walt wasted (in a bad sense) a perfectly good rat I could have used for target practice.

I haven’t seen a rat in over a year since I shot 6 of them in 2024, maybe words gets around. You do need a rifle, too hard to hit with a handgun.

    destroying a country”

Iran won’t be destroyed. The objective is to destroy the military/industrial complex that allows the regime to prosper and hold on to power, as well as the entrenched military/political leadership.
