Tomorrow is Purim.
It celebrates Esther saving the Jews from the evil Persians.
Must be a message in there somewhere.

Good morning!
I see a couple still throwing around words like “isolationist” in the last thread…….they don’t know when to admit they are wrong!
Also, funny that at least one of those same persons also didn’t like the choice for SoW, Pete Hegseth. His preferred option was a general of some rank. Told him he was wrong then, seeing our military build a $35k attack drone with more capabilities than the original makers proves it. No general, along with his lobbyist friends, would have approved such a lower-cost item. Hegseth for the win right there.

Duh the freepassers are pissed because the ccp built the air defense, supplied them with drone parts, and got cheap oil from Iran. Now it’s all gone.

A big problem emerging from this Iran War is the US is running out of missiles – depletion time being a week. After that they will have to borrow from the supply meant for Asia and the defense of Taiwan. Biden already took much of this areas air defense supply, giving it to Ukraine, with promises it would be re-supplied by 2027. I suppose Trump is working on this problem, but eventually there may be a reckoning of giving away too much of our weaponry to too many countries. In the meantime China is simply hanging back, buying extra supplies of oil from the Saudis, as it waits out the US becoming a less potent adversary in being able to defend Taiwan.

It’s gratifying to see Hizboller and Iran finally get their comeuppance for the Marine barracks bombing. They killed hundreds and we didn’t do diddly-poo for more than 40 years.

Doing laundry today. Got out my copy of the Declaration of Independence and was rereading and reminiscing about how Tom Jefferson and I chose the wording so carefully.
Anyway…accidentally spilled some coffee on the original…
So I got into my wife’s baking supplies and got some parchment paper and am rewriting the whole thing.

Still waiting for “real conservatives” like Thune, Cornyn, Mitch, Murk and Tillis to get that SAVE Act up for a vote.
Zzzzz….
Are the far left liberal Dems that NYC worked so hard to get elected going to vote for the SAVE ACT?
I am sure senators Buck, COD, Miller, Mourdock, McDaniels, Moore, Akin, etc. will all vote for it.
Jan is still sad that Ukraine is still a sovereign nation after 4 years. Of course, if it had fallen, the weapons she is worried about would be allocated to defending Europe and not shifted to attack Iran.

Bitter, maybe someday you’re move on from seeing every post, even vaguely referencing Ukraine, as some kind of breech of their sovereignty. Our depletion of missiles has been the subject of concern by the military for a long time. The fact we may not have enough for the current Iran mission, let alone to withstand an assault by China on Taiwan, should make us revisit how we disperse our weaponry, while keeping an eye on having enough to secure and maintain our ow national security.
The illiterate free passer ignores the economic and strategic ties that Iran and Qatar had historically and since 2018.

I hope they were stockpiling missiles. I know there was a concern with the amount given to the grifter resulted in a. Low supply. But that info was from 2024.

Jason can’t bring himself to ask why 53 Republican Senators can’t bring up the Save Act. It’s almost as if he is scared that he might be wrong about something. Odd, as he has had so much experience with it, just like the rest of us.

Many Democrats (Jason and Bitter, too?) are now screaming over gas going up. Back in the day they clapped like trained seals when Joe Biden said “high gas prices are a small price to pay and Americans will have to endure them for as long as it takes to defeat Russia.”

Chicon, I think they wanted Iran to give up after the taking out the top 40 plus leaders. Now, they are in a more massive bombing campaign. There are reports that the Iranian parliament has been hit.
