Schumer: I was in the SCIF on three different occasions as recently as, December, and I asked the administration, are you pursuing regime change? Are you intent on taking military action in Venezuela? Venezuelan territory? And they assured me that they were not pursuing those things. Clearly, they’re not being straight with the American people.

According to reports, Russia had been shipping $6 billion worth of military aid to Venezuela, including modern air defense systems meant to shield the Maduro regime.

But here’s the kicker: those defenses were reportedly wiped out by U.S. airstrikes near Caracas and the port of La Guaira during the operation that led to Maduro’s capture.

Six billion dollars of Russian military hardware… turned into scrap metal overnight.

Yet, Venezuela had all that foreign backing, all that tech, and they still couldn’t stop a single U.S. raid.

The message to Moscow? You can arm dictators all you want, but when America actually shows up, your “toys” don’t matter.”

    Oppose 39%

The manner of arrest, when outside the U.S., does not provide a basis to defend against the criminal charges legitimately brought in a US court. Noriega attempted that defense and it was shot down by the 11th Circuit. The Supreme Court declined to review it. The Mexican doctor who kept DEA Agent Kiki Camarena alive while he was being tortured was kidnapped by US law enforcement in Mexico and brought to the US. The Supreme Court later affirmed his conviction and held the legality of his arrest on foreign soil could not be raised as a bar to prosecution in the US.

LOL, so many epic fails in one post.

I can’t vote in the PA primary, I am not a Republican.

Would I prefer a Rubio or DeSantis presidency to Vance? Yes.

And I doubt I called Vance a deadender, my objection to him was that he was an isolationist and his stupid comment about “I don’t care about Ukraine” was disqualifying, in addition I thought he brought nothing to the table to help Trump win.

None of that has changed, but overall I give his VP role positive marks because I think he has been an articulate voice for Trump’s agenda. I have a distinct feeling some of Rubio’s foreign policy expertise has rubbed off on him.

And of course, I have been generally very supportive of Trump’s presidency, and contrary to Chicon, I do support interventions such as Venezuela, not because i am a Cultist, but because I believe it to be in our interest.

Outside of Ukraine and trade policy, where I think Trump is extremely weak, I have been supportive of Trump’s agenda.
