California Judge Luna See has issued an emergency injunction that will hold all California billionaires under house arrest to prevent them from leaving the Golden State, while court appointed attorneys will be granted temporary control of all billionaire assets to ensure the same assets are subject to the forthcoming one-time 5% wealth tax.
Billionaire Willis Cape confirmed he had planned to leave California. “I would have to take out massive loans to pay the tax, given the assets are tied up in investments, payroll for 5,000 employees, as well as real estate which is not easily or quickly liquidated,” Cape said.
But labor unions see the 5% tax as the rich finally starting to pay their fair share. Union boss Willie Work praised the tax saying, “These billionaires are lying to everyone. They sit on bundles of cash for their chairs, they wallpaper their houses with money, and have so much of it, they can even line their birdcages with tens and twenties. Now the rest of us can start to benefit just a little from all their excess wealth. Hopefully, if we get bolder leadership in our state we can push this 5% to 15% or 20%, and instead of it being a one-time tax, we could make it annual or even semi-annual.”
One California lawmaker, speaking on the condition of anonymity, confirmed that the 5% wealth tax must be passed, and all billionaires must be held accountable to pay it, simply because California has already spent the money they expect to raise by the tax.
A federal judge ruled Monday that the Trump administration can resume sharing location data about undocumented immigrants receiving public health insurance benefits with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, starting next month. The agency had been blocked from doing so for months amid a legal challenge from blue states. “The sharing of such information is clearly authorized by law and the agencies have adequately explained their decisions,” Chhabria wrote in a seven-page order. The decision marks a significant setback for California Attorney General Rob Bonta and 21 of his Democratic counterparts, who sued in July to prevent the Trump administration from using Medicaid data obtained from the Department of Health and Human Services to target immigrants. Undocumented immigrants are not eligible to enroll in federal Medicaid programs, but California and other blue states — Illinois, Colorado, New York, Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, as well as Washington, D.C. — allow some people to receive state-funded benefits through their Medicaid implementation programs regardless of immigration status.

Instead we have lapsed into a chronic state of fraud and corruption that is more acceptable and not exposed by the press when it is done on behalf of the Dems. Nonetheless, the abuse of taxpayer monies is seen in almost every institution and level of our government. And, as long as we can easily print money, who cares how large our debt grows!
Bunu doubts Saddam Hussein had chemical and nuclear weapon programs?
Of course,he also believes “only 800k” Jews were killed in the Holocaust and Massie. Rand Paul are conservatives, and Iran and Hamas are regime models for the world.
According the Texas Independent, Paul was one of only four House Republicans to break with his party’s earmark moratorium in 2011: “Paul sent 41 earmark requests totaling $157,093,544 for the 2011 Fiscal Year” and “For Fiscal Year 2010, Paul requested 54 total earmarks, adding up to $398,460,640 in pork that the former presidential candidate sought to bring home to his district.”
“Bunu doubts Saddam Hussein had chemical and nuclear weapons programs”
Well, at one time he (Hussein)….along with Algeria, Libya, South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, Iran, Ukraine, Kazakhstan among others pursued a nuclear weapons program. But in 1991 after the Gulf War UN inspectors dismantled any remnants of the program and found no actual weapons or stockpile.
But the foolish George W. Bush administration led by a more foolish Dick Cheney totally rejected the findings and foolishly got America into war based upon a lie. They never did fess up to worst foreign policy blunder in American history after our invasion found nothing.
Suddenly the “Quality Learing [sic] Center” in Minnesota is a buzz of activity with cars now in parking lot and kids going in. Locals affirm they presumed it was closed and abandoned, and the activity today is new.
Kid going into the “Quality Learing [sic] Center” in Minnesota says to mom (translated from Arabic), “Mom why do I have to be here today?”
Mom: “Shhh, you were ordered here because this place is supposed to exist because we are stealing billions in taxpayer money that gets funneled to our Somali community. Then we give part of it back to the Democratic Party so they can keep getting elected and keep covering up this money laundering scheme.”
Kid: “Dad, why do I have to be here today? I like it better when I stay with Grandma!”
So the pollsters who were the best in 2024 have Trump’s approval at:
+9 (insider advantage)
+5 (Trafalgar)
+1 (RMG Research)
-3 (Big Data)
-9 (Quantus)
-10 (Rasmussen)
-21 (Atlas Intel)
I find these numbers fascinating, given the overall accuracy of these pollsters against all the battleground state polling 14 months ago.
Obviously Trump cannot be both +9 and -21 at the same time. My analysis of the AtlasIntel data leads me to believe that their sample of Republicans is heavily the old Bush/McCain/Romney manifestation of the party. The ones who hate Trump but are not Democrats. AtlasIntel simply didn’t find any MAGA sample at all in their polling. They must be presuming that MAGA is done, and the GOP is back to what it was in 2012.
Obviously, IA and Trafalgar see a completely different electorate. Whether or not MAGA voters ever vote again, this is a job approval poll, and these voters are getting what they voted for, meaning AtlasIntel is simply not working to include these voters in the sampling, meaning they are trying to weigh their poll to be predictive of the outcome of 2026. Trafalgar and IA are reaching these voters, but this may not transfer into them actually showing up and voting without Trump on the ballot.
All of these numbers scream to me of the need for Trump to rally his base for one more election, getting them out in droves so he can continue to deliver in the final two years of his presidency. Trafalgar and IA polling shows that they are out there–they still exist and they approve of what they voted for in 2024. Just get them to the polls and the GOP will hold the house.
But if AtlasIntel has them pegged correctly as no shows, then the job approval that matters is closer to their numbers and the GOP will end up losing house control, probably with fewer than 200 seats. A blowout.
DW, my hunch is he’s somewhere between RMG and Big Data.
Regarding Big Data, I followed Baris for awhile on X. He is a full isolationist who is mad that Trump is way too involved in foreign affairs. I doubt his thumb is on the scale, but strong bias can unintentionally impact survey results.
The voters who are least likely to vote are MAGA types. Trump is doing rallies and talking affordability constantly. The MAGA voter wants to see more from the Republicans actually on the ballot before they’ll turn out in big numbers.
“The MAGA voter wants to see more from the Republicans actually on the ballot before they’ll turn out in big numbers.”
Then they are dumb and dumber. If they are waiting to see more from Republicans, then they have no clue about the dangers posed by Democommunists. If AOC, Jeffries, Omar, and Newsom isn’t enough to drive MAGA voters out to the polls so these commies can be stopped, then they are beyond hope, and as a result, so is the nation.
Its not that hard. You just schedule a time, drive to a building, walk in, vote straight R down the ballot, and then go home. If MAGA does that, they save the nation. If they don’t, then the whole nation becomes the California fecal matter show.
There will be no second chances, or anything like that. We are barely holding on by a thread. One more national wipeout, and the thread is forever broken.
“Shitlibs are bouncing between “There is no fraud, it’s all just racist lies” and “The fraud has been under investigation for a long time, this isn’t new” Just pick a lane already”
I also saw the story that Tatiana Schlossberg, JFK’s granddaughter, died at 35 from cancer. She leaves behind her husband and 2 young children. Cancer sucks and is nonpartisan.
Not only cancer but something diagnosed when she gave birth to her second child. Some doctor noted her white cells were too high, ran more tests. Then her doctor told her “I can keep you alive for maybe a year”.
But of course she needed to politicize it and use it as a prop to take cheap shots at her uncle.
As Rahm Emanuel famously said, never let a crisis go to waste.
DW said “Then they are dumb and dumber. If they are waiting to see more from Republicans, then they have no clue about the dangers posed by Democommunists.”
Lol, blame the voters for not liking what a candidate offers. “I know you want a bunch of stuff done that we’re never gonna do, but you should vote for us anyway because the other guy is worse” is not very appealing.
But that is what the GOP establishment playbook appears to be. Very similar to 2010 & 2014. The very popular Obama wasn’t on the ballot, but told the electorate to get out and vote Democrat anyway. Didn’t go so well then, so the GOP wants to do the same. Good luck with that.
To put it another way, DW, let’s say you are put in charge of winning the House for the Republicans in 2026. You have evidence that a portion of the base that elected Trump is not excited to vote in November. What’s your plan to turn that around? I doubt you believe that shaming them into voting will work. So, what’s the plan?
either vote Republican or see the lights turned out in the shining city on the hill. Waiting for perfection from the GOP before staying interested in voting is beyond stupid. The party belongs to Trump anyway. The old Bush establishment is dead and buried, but the few that are left are the ones voting. MAGA voters have the party, but keep blaming the establishment. If they really wanted to save the country they would show up and vote to save it.
You have evidence that a portion of the base that elected Trump is not excited to vote in November. What’s your plan to turn that around? I doubt you believe that shaming them into voting will work. So, what’s the plan?”
I say the plan is if they want to stay home and elect Democrats be my guest and GFTs
If they think the Dems will make them more “excited”, they are even stupider than dumb and dumber.
I vote for isolationists and protectionists up and down the ballot not because I am “excited” about them, but because the alternative is to elect Marxists.
The “non-excited Cultists” can make their own decisions on how “excited” they have to be.
The congressmen and senators don’t just represent their “base”, the represent the entire district and state. They are not beholden to the most extreme wing of their base, and they don’t just get elected with that vote.
I would like my Rep to advocate for free trade, vote against stupid tariffs and trade wars, and to fight for aid to Ukraine. Neither is going to happen. I could whine and stay home.
But he will vote for a myriad of other things in my interest.
Jason said….”I would like my Rep to advocate for free trade, vote against stupid tariffs and trade wars, and to fight for aid to Ukraine. Neither is going to happen. I could whine and stay home.
But he will vote for a myriad of other things in my interest.”
That’s fine. You are free to vote for who you want, for whatever reason you want. So is everyone else. I’ll ask you the same question I asked DW: if you’re put in charge of keeping the House and Senate, how would you go about doing so?
“I believe the better approach to keeping the House and Senate is for the House and Senate to do the things their voters want.”
You wait in vain to get everything you want. Instead you will get everything you DON’T want including a communist government that will never be repealed.
You are like the guy on the sinking Titanic who sees a chance to get into the final lifeboat, but you look it over and decide the vessel doesn’t quite have all the luxuries you want, so you announce that you don’t want that seat. You will wait for the White Star line to send along a luxury liner with all the amenities you demand. When they send that, you will happily get on board.
You will wait for the White Star line to send along a luxury liner with all the amenities you demand. When they send that, you will happily get on board.”
Yep, Chicon is sitting at home waiting for Chicago and IL politicians to “give him what he wants” before he will go out and vote.
I have already outlined my plan for keeping the house in 2026. Trump must nationalize the election, and get out there in EVERY key swing district and hold as many rallies as needed to explain the facts of life to the otherwise dumb and stupid wing of the MAGA voter. I am not saying all MAGA voters are dumb, but the purists who hold out for perfection and the ignorant who think both parties are the same need to be educated about the facts of life. Only Trump can get through to these people.
I like the idea of holding a mid-term party convention. I like the idea of starting the advertising early and run it often. I like the idea of strategically targeting key districts. But most important, Trump must preach about his accomplishments because the media won’t do it. He needs to connect his accomplishments to the party as a whole. That he will sink or swim as the party sinks or swims.
Of course there also has to be continued success. Continue creating the environment that results in dropping gas prices, which will in turn bring down costs of food and other expenses.
Finally, the GOP has to run quality candidates. Candidates who are a good match for the district where they run. No more of this stupidity of running a far-right candidate who might be “pure” but would have no chance in a tightly contested purple swing district.
And I would also point out that the GOP should endeavor to put someone on the ballot in nearly every house race. Not that you fund every race, but at least have someone their given the Dem’s ability to be caught in scandal. Ed Durr ran such a token race years ago in New Jersey, and won. You never know when that sort of thing can happen, but if you have no name on the ballot, you can’t win.
If you are a Dem who hired PPP-D to give you an internal, and they can’t give you a lead, its pretty hopeless.
Barr is likely to get the nomination as a sitting congressman. Cameron was a former AG, Morris is unknown–a pro-Trump businessman whose campaign web page calls Mitch McConnell trash that needs to be taken out.
So is everyone else. I’ll ask you the same question I asked DW: if you’re put in charge of keeping the House and Senate, how would you go about doing so?”
I would run on contrasting Trump’s agenda vs. the Dems agenda.
I would run on low taxes, energy independence, strong military, immigration, and anti-woke, just to name a few things.
I would encourage the meme that a strong tide lifts all boats whether they are die hard MAGA boats or not.
What I would NOT do is promise a tariff driven trade policy, isolationism from America’s interests abroad, America is an island, or xenophobic/anti-legal immigrant rhetoric because while those ideas might be popular among the Cultists, they are self defeating for the country.
I would tell the Cult that unless they want Speaker AOC in 2026 and President AOC in 2028 they need to vote for the GOP – even the ones they don’t like.
I like my Titanic analogy. Had the person who spurned the lifeboat REALLY wanted to make it to New York and then get all the desired amenities, the person would vote to get into the lifeboat, endure the momentary discomforts, and then in New York he could advocate for White Star to improve their amenities, and he could press for better lifeboats.
But its hard to make any difference or advocate for anything when you are fish food at the bottom of the ocean.
I had missed this story. Apparently, top women’s tennis player Aryna Sabalenka played against a male professional ranked #671 in a “Battle of the Sexes.” She lost.
But the left says there is no difference between men and women and its just a matter of your imagination. Just let your Disney film fantasies be true and ignore the reality of science.
Wishing everyone at HHR Phoenix a Happy new year and a fabulous 2026. Traveling in this cold weather stinks and I can’t wait to get back to sunny South Florida in the new year. I hope Trump and the Republicans read and implement DWs plan above for the midterms.

However, even after the Nuremberg Laws many Jews stayed. Heck even after Kristallnacht there were Jews who could have escaped and didn’t.

A blowout.
