  4. I could understand the polls showing Spanberger up 12 if the early voting was reversed, the strong Trump districts lagging way behind, while all the Dem areas juicing the turnout.

But unless a massive number of Republicans are voting early for Spanberger, I have a tough time seeing the Spanberger +12.

Unfortunately, Sears will likely still lose, but more like 4 to 6 points. Like Trump did last year.

  8. Just reposting this because I can:

The Democratic Party Guide to living your life as a woman:

    1) You were born. We tried to stop it by killing you before you came out of the womb, but you slipped through.

    2) All the childhood entertainment we push teaches you to hate your parents, and that you are entitled to all the happiness we promise we will deliver to you. Don’t ever give up on hating your family and being bitter against them and against the world because you were born alive and not aborted.

    3) During your teenage years, you must yell and shout at your parents as much as possible. Don’t develop meaningful relationships with your siblings especially any brothers who might otherwise care for you.

    4) Show your independence by getting as many tattoos as possible. If you can’t afford them, check around in your parent’s bedroom for where they might hide money. They owe it to you. Use this method to also experiment on drugs, and if you get hooked, they might just take you out of this world early.

    5) Body piercings are a must to ensure your happiness, and they will go a long way toward keeping any man from ever being interested in you. Make sure you get a big gaudy nose ring that everyone can easily see.

    6) Color your hair purple, or some combo of colors as this will further turn men away. Never smile, or appear happy, as this might adversely affect your ability to stop relationships with others from forming.

    7) Eat. Eat a lot. Eat even more. Keep eating until you are an obese slob, furthering your dependence on health care that the government will provide you.

    8) Hate men because they for some reason are not drawn to you and acknowledge your beauty as you are. Your Democratic Party will stand behind you to insist that you are beautiful the way you have chosen to live, and we will prosecute anyone who defames your beautiful appearance.

    9) Whatever you do, don’t ever be with a man and run the risk of getting pregnant because if you do, there is an outside chance you might experience limited access to an abortion clinic and actually bring the child into the world and thereby contribute to over-population, climate change, reduction of ozone and untold damage to future civilizations.

    10) Eventually, you will be a bloated, fat, ugly, messed up slob who reaches 65 in terrible health, but don’t worry, we will care for you. We will make sure you get a comfortable room in some forsaken assisted living or nursing home facility where you will live out your days absolutely alone with no one to visit you until you finally die alone slumped over in your wheelchair out in the hallway. We will quickly cremate your remains and flush them down a toilet to make room for some other woman.

Bonus: Now that Charlie Kirk is gone, we hope his message of an alternative way of living your life will die with him.

  9. Wow Fla, that Commietown music video was funny but full of dark humor. The latest Poll I’ve seen shows Mamdani slipping to 40.6%, with Cuomo @ 34% and Sliwa @ 24%. If the vote was not being split by Cuomo and Sliwa there would be few worries about Mamdani having a chance to win. Now all there is to hope for is that somehow one of the two other candidates will be able to magically consolidate enough votes to overcome the frontrunner.

  10. You have to love these kids and their AI projects, Jan. I was up in NYC for a couple of weeks last month and I’m not too hopeful about that vote splitting. The City was plastered with Mamdani stickers/campaign signs and many of the people I met were thrilled to be able to vote for this communist. The City is like a living organism that transforms itself repeatedly over time. This current iteration is definitely not the place I grew up in. I barely even recognize it anymore.

“In a recent scientific report from Antarctica, researchers monitoring seismic activity beneath the ice detected unusual rhythmic tremors. What makes this event remarkable is that these vibrations occurred in perfect synchronization with the pulse patterns recorded from the interstellar object known as 3I/ATLAS. This correlation began as the object approached its closest point to the Sun, known as perihelion.

The tremors originated near a long-studied subglacial structure located deep under the East Antarctic Ice Sheet, sometimes referred to as the “Antarctic Pyramid” due to its geometric shape revealed through ground-penetrating radar. Normally, this formation remains geologically inactive. However, during the past week, it began emitting heat signatures and acoustic pulses that matched the same frequency detected in 3I/ATLAS’s emissions.

Scientists from multiple research stations confirmed the readings, stating that the signals were too consistent to be coincidental. The energy spikes seemed to echo in three-minute intervals, precisely matching the interstellar object’s rhythmic pulses….”

However, it’s been good to make the Freeloaders sweat, and they can continue to enjoy relatively free defense courtesy of the US while spending those fungible dollars on their public welfare programs instead since their entire military, intending their tearful top generals, is completely effing useless.

  41. Just caught the Game 7 highlights. I will never understand why MLB players can not simply run hard through home plate on a force play. Sliding slows you down. It’s common knowledge, that’s why no hitters slide into 1st base. When I was coaching, I’d teach my kids to run through home on a force every single time.

Last night, it cost the Blue Jays the world series.

Since the Blue Jays beat my Yankees this year, and the Dodgers beat the Yankees last year, it was very difficult to be interested in this year’s World Series. My takeaway is that play at home.

  42. Big Joe – It depends on the situation. Since Buster Posey’s injury, the runner can’t just plow into the catcher. Also, it might be possible to avoid the tag by sliding.

  46. I wasn’t sure sliding was slower than running because when you slide you launch yourself in the air adding some impetus. But AI says it is indeed slower, about half a second difference. On average that means about 13 feet, so the A-hole is probably right that it cost the Blue Jays the game if there was no risk of being tagged.

Here are 3 criminal charges Pam Bondi could immediately arrest Judge Boasberg for over the Arctic Frost scandal. The third criminal charge would arrest Jack Smith as co-conspirator with Judge Boasberg.

Image shows text from US legal code section 18 USC 242 on deprivation of rights under color of law explaining prosecution for issuing gag orders on legal processes seeking Senate data disclosure violating Speech or Debate Clause and separation of powers principles. Second part details obstruction of proceedings before Congress under 18 USC 509 claiming the gag order quashed subpoenas by preventing timely notice and hindering potential congressional inquiries or interventions. Third part describes conspiracy against rights under 18 USC 241 involving Special Counsel Smiths office using Boasbergs authority to conceal subpoenas and evade Senate opposition.

If sliding was faster than running through a base, every hitter would be sliding into first base.

    EXACTLY!!

YOu take a bigger lead (than the guy on 3rd was taking since 3rd baseman was not holding the runner) and then run a 95 foot dash as hard as you can. NO SLIDE.I would have called safe if I was umpire.

BTW, I really thought the runner was safe. Catch her had foot off plate, caught ball, runner slid ND touched home, then catcher puts heel down.
