What Kaine might mean is that he would want Jones-R to stay in so they could use it to win easily and drag down the R ticket

Same people who said Youngkin should drop out just because some people with Tiki torches showed up at his rally (later identified as Dem operatives).l

Zzzzzz… I could have told Biden that myself…
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro recalled to “The Breakfast Club” in a new interview how he tried to deliver then-President Joe Biden bad news about the election before Biden dropped out of the race.
Shapiro, who presents himself as a moderate for the party who goes out of his way to engage with conservatives, spoke candidly about his sober warnings to Biden when Biden was still the de facto 2024 Democratic nominee.
“I went directly to the president and spoke to him about what I saw were, you know, his challenges in Pennsylvania. I was really honest with him,” Shapiro said. “We got together at a coffee shop in Harrisburg. I think this has been reported. I mean, I’ll just share with you. He said, ‘How’s it going?’ I was very clear: ‘It’s not going well.’”
Shapiro “engages with conservatives”….puhhhhleeeze…

”U.S. — Millions of Americans took to the streets today in order to express to the world their total and absolute ignorance about the political system they live in.
Several major cities including Boston, New York City and Chicago saw over one hundred thousand residents show up to proclaim their abject incomprehension of governance.
“The world needs to understand how incredibly little we know,” said local man Roger McMahon, who had joined the march. “I really do not think the greater population appreciates how completely uneducated and illiterate we are when it comes to our own political system. That’s why I’m here marching. We’re going to join our voices together and let the message ring loud and clear that we are uneducated rubes in desperate need of a middle-school social studies class.”

The No Kings demon street demonstrations were merely feel good organized efforts to soothe the souls of butt hurt people who are unhappy that Trump won in 2024.
It does indeed, as Janz’s Babylon Bee article points out, show a huge need to educate people about how government operates, we have had no kings since 1776.
In reality, nothing changed. Except the president (Trump) gains more discretionary power on how to cut government spending. YJust like lawsuits–they say anyone can sue a ham sandwich. /anyone can take to the streets and protest a ham sandwich.
the only “good” thing that happened is that a big slice of dissatisfied, low info, hard core left leaners got up the next morning and felt WONDERFUL about going into the streets and holding signs and marching to “bring change”. At some point they will realize it changed nothing. NOTHING.

“HOUSE REPUBLICANS SHATTER FUNDRAISING RECORDS, OUTPACING DEMOCRATS AHEAD OF 2026 ELECTIONS House Republicans have achieved a record-breaking fundraising quarter, vastly outpacing their Democratic rivals in a critical off-year cycle, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) announced this week. From July through September, the NRCC raised $24 million, including $14 million in September alone — a dramatic increase from the $9.3 million raised in September 2023. The total represents a 30 percent jump over last year’s off-cycle performance, when the committee brought in $18.5 million during the same quarter. “This announcement comes as NRCC Patriots in swing districts have outraised vulnerable incumbent Democrats for the third consecutive quarter,” the committee said in a statement. NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson (R-NC) praised the momentum: “House Republicans are firing on all cylinders. Our majority funded the federal government, we’re delivering for working families, and we’re building unstoppable momentum heading into 2026. With President Trump leading the charge and voters rallying behind our conservative agenda, we’re raising record-breaking resources to hold the House and grow our majority.” So far this year, the NRCC has raised $93 million total and retains $46 million cash on hand — a significant advantage heading into the 2026 midterms. During the last quarter, the NRCC also outperformed the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), pulling in $32.3 million compared to the DCCC’s $29.1 million, according to Politico. Analysts noted that Republican incumbents maintain a “distinct cash advantage,” with the median targeted GOP lawmaker holding $1.7 million compared to $1.5 million for the average targeted Democrat.”

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins grows visibly irritated on-air as Rep. Jim Jordan calls out Democrats for backing healthcare benefits for illegal immigrants. Collins tried to move on as she sifted through her papers, but Jordan wasn’t letting her off easy. COLLINS: “If premiums jump, people can’t afford it; they don’t have health care. And the burden on people who are sick and need that coverage is higher.” JORDAN: “I’ll tell you what the Democrats want. The Democrats want health care for people who are non-citizens. That’s driving up health care costs too.” COLLINS: “Don’t change the subject.” JORDAN: “No, the subject is you’re talking about health care. And all I know is Maxine Waters said we want health care for illegal immigrants.” COLLINS: “But I’m talking about the subsidies themselves.” JORDAN: “Every single Democrat presidential candidate back in 2020—they asked them, how many of you will support health care for people who are non-citizens, for illegal immigrants? Everyone on stage raised their hand. Kamala Harris raised her hand. Joe Biden raised his hand. Pete Buttigieg—they all raised their hand. That’s what they’re for. That’s what they want here in this bill.” COLLINS: “We went through all this with House Speaker Mike Johnson last week, trust me. But my point was on the subsidies themselves.” JORDAN: “You went through it because that’s their position, and we’re opposed to that position. We don’t think that’s common sense. We don’t think extending and expanding Obamacare and giving it to illegal migrants is going to help the subsidies. How is that going to help the families I represent?” By this point, Collins was clearly fed up. All she could do was repeatedly interrupt as Jordan asked how this was good for the American family.

I heard that organizers of the “No Kings” rallies predicted a turnout of two million. This morning I heard a figure that between 5-7 million showed up, becoming an historic number for a protest. Now, this is being dialed back with assertions that the legacy media is using old misleading photos to distort and inflate crowd size. It’s hard to know what is true or untrue sometimes.
