Schumer Shutdown

“And that’s the way it is, October 17, 2025, the 16th day of captivity for the American government, hostage of Chuck Schumer.”

Day 16 with no signs that the Democrats will come to the table and start behaving like they lost the 2024 election instead of demanding the GOP behave like they lost it.

I read the indictment. He hired the Gloria Allred of left wing political celebrities, Abe Lowell. But this guy didn’t get Hunter Biden off and he basically screwed Biden by pushing the envelope too far on the sweetheart deal he had gotten.

In his note, Lowell already admits “sharing with family members”, but of course there is no such “exception” for classified information.

The indictment seems to have teeth in it, assuming what is said is true. And Bolton, who loves his own voice and can’t resist the calling of the MSM, said a bunch of crap related to the Hegseth Signal issue where he basically condemns everything he now tries to use to justify his actions. It completely wipes out any defense that he was “unaware” he was violating the law.

It will be decided by turnout. A cold rainy day could make the difference.

  5. In the Miyares-Jones public debate last night, Miyares did a masterful job of exposing the fraud of Jones with his apology. Jones started right out apologizing again, and then Miyares pounced:

“And right now you may say that you are sorry, but look at back at what happened,” Miyares said.

“You had three years to say you are sorry, Jay, and you didn’t. Three years to actually recognize what you did was horrific. You chose to stay silent.”

Miyares continued, “Carrie Coyner called you out then, you doubled down. It was after she called you out for these text messages that that is when you said you advocated for violence against children. And when this became public, we now know your first statement wasn’t saying ‘I’m sorry.’ The words ‘I’m sorry’ wasn’t even in your statement. It was to say we all send text messages we regret.”

He added that Jones’s comments were especially troubling given the position he is seeking.

“I find it a little bit stunning that today you say one of the pillars of your public safety platform is protecting children. Were you protecting Jennifer’s children when you said you wanted to see them die in their mother’s arms?” Miyares said, referring to Gilbert’s wife.

“It’s unconscionable, and if you were truly ‘sorry,’ you would not be running for this office — because you disqualified yourself.”

“He keeps saying that he is sorry. Jay, if you’re really sorry, you wouldn’t be running,” Miyares said.

“If you really understood the ramifications of what you said about an innocent mom and her children. You know Todd Gilbert. You served with him. Jennifer would come to the General Assembly. She would bring her children. We would see them run in the hallways. They were two and five years old at the time. This wasn’t a hypothetical. This wasn’t some figure that you know from far away. You actually know Todd. This is a flesh and blood, real husband. Jennifer is a real mom. These are real kids.”

“How in the world could you ever show compassion and comfort a grieving mother that has ever lost a child of violence, because Virginians, there is no cry, like the cry of a mother that has lost her child. A prosecutor knows this because they’ve stood in that courtroom. Jay Jones had never understood this because he’s not a prosecutor, he’s a politician trying to save his career,” Miyares said.

Trump promised a ‘new dawn’ and the ‘end of an age of terror and death’ as his 20-point peace plan was signed in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt to mark the end of the two-year Gaza war

The accord has reunited families torn apart by the October 7, 2023, Hamas terror attack and is being hailed as one of the most significant breakthroughs in decades, even as questions linger over how long the truce will last.

A new Daily Mail/JL Partners poll shows that voters at home are giving Trump the credit – and see him as the architect of a lasting peace where others failed.

When asked which president had done the most for the Middle East, Trump received more votes than his four White House predecessors combined.

Voters also gave Trump a 51 percent approval rating, a drop from the astonishing 55 percent in a Daily Mail poll from September. “

have, in just a few days, organized the greatest opposition to UN policy since the Cold War and blocked this UN Carbon Tax. I can say it was a knife fight to the end. “I’ve been in this industry for 30 years and I’ve never seen anything like it,” one shipping executive told me today. “You just don’t say NO to these guys. It’s unheard of.” It’s unclear who “these guys” are, but I suspect the European families with shipping investments and net wealth that far exceeds Elon’s. Absolutely none of the maritime experts I interviewed early this week thought the US could pull this off. Zero. Massive amounts of money, NGO influence, diplomatic threat and media manipulation were behind this… and the American media (except

    @gCaptain

and Fox News) was dead silent. And yet Trump did it. “That Trump Truth Social post sent shockwaves through the building,” one UN delegate in London told me. “NOBODY expected it. The Secretary General

    @IMOSecGen

looked like a deer in the headlights this morning.” Incredible. Simply incredible work by team Trump and a massive blow to the European deep state who planned to use this tax as a slush fund to plug holes in US Aid funding for globalist NGOs.

Nearly every major media outlet echoed that narrative. National Public Radio ran the headline, “Violent crime is dropping fast in the U.S. – even if Americans don’t believe it.” The Wall Street Journal declared, “Violent Crime Rate Falls Sharply After Pandemic Surge.” Vox insisted, “Violent crime is plummeting.” Axios reported, “New data shows violent crime dropping sharply in major U.S. cities.”

However, a new Bureau of Justice Statistics report, which includes data through 2024, shows that Trump was right during the debate when he said, “Crime here is up and through the roof.” The National Crime Victimization Survey shows violent crime surged 59%, with rape and sexual assault up 67%, robbery up 38%, and aggravated assault up 62%. That’s the largest four-year increase in the survey’s 52-year history.”

I am not a big fan of either one but I would much rather live under the former than the latter.

Good, 7 years was ridiculous for embellishing his resume.

Yeah, I know, there were other charges but it was the result of a fishing expedition and selective prosecution from the embellishment scrutiny.

He lost his job and went to jail. He was not pardoned.

    That is enough.

  94. One of the great current fallacies is that the AOCs, Bernies, Mandanis, are the “left fringe” of the party.

They are not. They just have constituencies where there positions do not cost them elections.

Does anyone doubt that if the Dems had the majority in both Houses and the Presidency that they would:

    1. Nationalize the health, banking and even the energy sectors
    2. Give amnesty and citizenship and voting rights to 20 million illegals?
    3. Gut any attempt at voting ID, federalize election laws, eliminate the electoral college, implement “voting rights” that would great and permanently benefit Democrats?
    4. Pass into law transgender “rights, “abortion rights”, and all kinds of other cultural war “rights”.
    5. Green new deal, Paris accords, etc.
    6. End of right to work laws.
    7. Support for UN world government initiatives, WEF, etc.
    8. “Reparations”

There is a lot more, but the idea than anybody in the Dem party would oppose any of this is ludicrous.

  118. Great write up revealing how the democrats no kings movement is entirely funded and propped up by democrat billionaire royalty –

“The Democratic Party’s dark-money NGO network, bankrolled by left-wing billionaires, is reportedly preparing to activate a coordinated, color-revolution-style mobilization across the U.S. this weekend – a replay of failed agitation attempts seen earlier this year targeting President Trump and Elon Musk. The operation, marketed under the “No Kings” banner and portrayed publicly as a grassroots movement, in reality functions as a professionalized protest-industrial complex. Its composition includes a blend of paid activists, white boomers suffering from Stage 4 Trump Derangement Syndrome, and a smaller contingent of organic, unhinged leftists who recite MSNBC talking points by heart. “
