The Virginia Fraternal Order of Police has asked Jay Jones to withdraw from the election for VA Attorney General
LikeLike
I am torn on the question. Clearly he should withdraw. But staying in the race gives us a chance to win the other races.

No clue. Looks like a raceway of sorts, but I know next to nothing of that “sport.” It’s not the Indy 500, that much I can say, and it’s certainly not Le Mans. Looks flat, boring, and generally uninviting. If it’s not Okie, I’m going with Missouri, with Kansas as a backup.

Jones should stay in while all the sane elements in VA politics demand he drop out. If he wins, we know that VA is a waste of time and resources in the future. If he loses, Miyares holds on and is preserved for a statewide race down the line. If Jones somehow manages to get blown out (or at least loses bigly by local standards), maybe some other Dems go down with him.

Hey Bitter, the Deep State has stenographers.
Could be an important clue, especially if wearing one of those nifty Deep State uniforms.

But Jason, do they have choreographers? Because I want a song AND dance if they’re going to screw me over. “Imagine Broadway Melody of 1984!”

Well, rumor is the Rockettes could be Deep State.

Frankly, I don’t think Trump ended the Deep State.
I have been searching on Ebay for Deep State memorabilia and there is nothing.
If they had been busted you would see a lot of stuff on the market. I would love a set of DS insignia gold cuff links and maybe a set of those fine crystal whiskey glasses with the gold trim and embossed DS lettering.

No cheating by google searching, but here is a fun question:
Over the last 200 days, this state added 190 voter registrations as Democrats, while the GOP has added about 48,000 over the last 200 days.
Name the state.

And I’ll bet that most of that is in SoCal in and adjacent to Los Angeles County due to the poor fire response.

Besides governor, the AG position is the next important.
Even if the Dems have a majority in the legislature, Miyares can probably stop a lot of the really crazy sh-t.

Having new republicans in SoCal is better since their votes would be wasted up north. Even with the gerrymandering amendment likely passing, that’s only good through 2030, and there are no less than 9 Hispanic heavy Congressional seats in the Southland that can flip with current trends, along with the two Orange County and San Diego based seats. It’s a long game, but the Dems can’t avoid that forever.

that is an american company name on the billboard, and it is a racetrack. The clue here in this picture depends on thinking through what you are seeing. Where is the camera relative to the track, and where does the track go? How big is the track?

Look. There are only a few ways Jay Jones can lose support among Virginia’s Democrat voters.
1. Say that trans women aren’t women.
2. Denounce Hamas.
3. Say something nice about Trump.

I agree with GF that probably the majority of new registered republicans were gathered in S.CA, because the incompetent response of democrat officials during this years fires turned people off to the dem party. However, I am not as assured as he is that proposition 50, the Newsom gerrymandering one, will pass. In fact I think it will surprise many by failing – maybe even miserably.

Bring Chris Wray into the Senate Judiciary Committee. Have Kash Patel and Pam Bondi sitting at a separate table. Every time Wray says “I can’t answer that question in open session” have Patel and Bondi direct him to answer the question or take the Fifth.

The Post tried to play both sides of the fence in the ongoing government shutdown stand off with Republicans and Democrats, the latter of which demanded “Republicans agree to extend the Covid-era insurance subsidies without proposing any way to pay for it.” Then The Post ran one of the biggest plot twists ever to hit American politics in the last 15 years: “The real problem is that the Affordable Care Act [Obamacare] was never actually affordable.”

They tracked the communications of GOP Senators. They weaponized law enforcement against the American people. That era is over. We fired those who acted unethically, dismantled the corrupt CR-15 squad, and launched an investigation. Transparency and accountability aren’t slogans, they’re promises kept.

Want to ask all those who absolutely hate Trump…Can you name one thing Trump admin has done that you have been pleased with? Agree with?
Name just ONE thing Trump admin has done that the leftist disagree with?
Just ONE?
–How about bringing in $17 Trillion in investment into the U.S. in 8 months?
(when during Biden admin, the number was $1 Trillion in 4 years)
(oh, and btw, a lot of the is was an offshoot of Trump tariff threats/policies…)
*******************
–How about securing the southern border?
–How about rounding up and deporting criminal illegal aliens?
–How about FINDING over 25,000 of the illegal aliens children that Biden admin lost or misplaced?
–How about efforts to not allow men to participate in women’s sports and push back on allowing confused trans people into bathrooms and dressing rooms other than for the sex they were born?
–How about Trump push to get the fed to lower interest rates?
–How about DOGE efforts to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse and that shown a spotlight on some of the absolute CRA-CRA spending that was going on like at USAID?
How about efforts that led to big reduction in crime in DC?
–How about the Trump admin discovering how various fed govt agencies were politically weaponized during Obama/Biden?
–How about work to bring several peace deals to actual fruition?
–How about Trump ordering the hit on Iran nuke facilities to bring more stability ot middle East?
–How about Trump pressuring NATO countries to pony up more to cover cost of NATO instead of U.S. bearing the biggest burden?
*************************
Those with TDS will NEVER acknowledge ANY successes in the Trump admin by Trump or anyone else. Because to them he is a vile man who beat Hillary and Kamal and orange man bad.
Their response will be >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
*but he is tearing up the rose garden
*he sure plays a lot of golf and he cheats on the golf course
*he wants to take over Greenland and Canada
*he renamed to Gulf of Mexico and renamed the Defense Dept.
*Epstein files
*Trump is a crook, convicted felon*
*he is a vile person
*he is violating Americans civil and constitutional rights, especially with his roundup of illegal aliens
*he is a fascist, Nazi, misogynist, racist, xenophobic, foul mouthed nut

One more clue. I liked the picture because it had that dugout looking building in the foreground that has absolutely nothing to do with the overall scene. When you look at it in detail you can see its a racetrack. But where is the camera in relation to that track? You can see grandstands probably half a mile away. No doubt there is racetrack right below those grandstands. But between there and the camera, you don’t see any further grandstands or track. That suggests the camera was still inside the facility. That means it is an enormous racetrack, and there are only two options, and one was already eliminated by one of the guesses.

VA-AG: Jay Jones (D) could be in real legal trouble and may have to serve jail time. Prosecutor in his reckless driving case confirms that Jay Jones did NOT have permission to complete his community service requirement with his PAC.
