It was just revealed that the FBI had secretly placed, against all Rules, Regulations, Protocols, and Standards, 274 FBI Agents into the Crowd just prior to, and during, the January 6th Hoax. This is different from what Director Christopher Wray stated, over and over again! That’s right, as it now turns out, FBI Agents were at, and in, the January 6th Protest, probably acting as Agitators and Insurrectionists, but certainly not as “Law Enforcement Officials.” I want to know who each and every one of these so-called “Agents” are, and what they were up to on that now “Historic” Day. Many Great American Patriots were made to pay a very big price only for the love of their Country. I owe this investigation of “Dirty Cops and Crooked Politicians” to them! Christopher Wray, the then Director of the FBI, has some major explaining to do. That’s two in a row, Comey and Wray, who got caught LYING, with our Great Country at stake. WE CAN NEVER LET THIS HAPPEN TO AMERICA AGAIN!

Mikie Sherrill’s terrible, no good, horrible week continues. Now, her husband has been implicated in the Annapolis cheating scandal, and it’s come to light that she used two of her annual nominations for service academies on behalf of her children. While not illegal, she could have referred their applications to either IS Senator, SECNAV, SECDEF, VPOTUS, or even the President himself.

I read the details on that cheating scandal. Someone got hold of an electrical engineering exam in advance and actually sold it to other midshipmen. Over 100 were implicated but in the end they expelled very few because evidently most of the accused sought outside counsel and managed to beat the charges.

One of my sons briefly considered West Point as a junior in high school. He gave up when as a senior he discovered how complicated the year long admissions process was, and by then he had other plans anyway. But at the time I was active in the R party, had good contacts, and might have been able to at least get him considered by the congressman. But it is highly competitive, only about a 10% success rate.

I made it to the point of undergoing a physical at West Point. I failed the eye test. They said I had no measurable depth perception. I had never been told that. I could catch a ball and walk on steps without tripping. Then they asked if I was a diabetic. That ended my first of 5 attempts to join the military.

What I find interesting/amusing in this article from June is that the paper makes note of three teens who were accepted into service academies from Montclair. Two of those kids are named Hedberg; that’s her husband’s surname, she kept her maiden name of “Sherrill.” Seems that only his name was on the application forms for the nomination. Coincidence? Or an attempt to obscure the fact that she used her position to benefit her kids? You decide.

I think the international games are a good marketing/revenue strategy for the woke NFL.
In my view, the biggest threat to the woke NFL is not even its internal wokeness, but the “health” issue driven by external wokeness. There is a growing movement against contact sports and liberals are trying to get grade schools and high schools to ban them, and if successful they will keep attacking at the college and professional level too. The Internet is full of “experts” that say it is too “dangerous” a sport.
The woke NFL response so far is to try to pussify the game by making the QB untouchable, concussion “protocols” and having little tents on the sidelines, etc. But that type of appeasement will not satisfy those whose objective is to get the game banned.
I don’t care about the woke NFL per se as I no longer watch, but I do care about the general environment that threatens it, because it is the same movement that tries to restrict religion and guns and tell you what you should eat, drive, etc.

BoSox/Yankees….from Bucky F…… Dent in 1978 to the Boston coming back from a 3-0 deficit in 2004. They have met six times in the post season with NY winning the first three times and Boston winning the last three times. This has all the makings of a classic.
Padres/Cubs….a redux of the 1984 playoffs. I still have Cub fans that won’t talk about that series.
Cleveland and Detroit have met in 2,344 games since 1901 and the series is split evenly at 1,166 each with 12 ties. These two teams have met a half dozen times in the past two weeks.
