I do not support the idea of taking away mandatory vaccinations for children. People, especially children, are going to die because of this. If there is a debate about a certain vaccine, have it. Maybe smallpox and polio can make a comeback.
In the Philadelphia and New York media markets that serve New Jersey, Sherrill has 2 ads. She was a helicopter pilot. Ciattarelli is 100% MAGA and Trump’s bitch.
I don’t think polio and smallpox are among the vaccines that wouldn’t be mandatory.
Growing up in South America, I had every childhood disease known to man, except for polio which was the only vaccine available. I do remember smallpox vaccine too. I had chickenpox, measles, pertussis, scarlet fever, German measles, mumps, you name it.
I am not sure mandatory vaccines for all these illnesses makes sense.
I think childhood vaccinations should be divided into essential and non-essential, and let parents decide on the non-essential.
Also between a rock and a hard place on Trump’s appeal to SCOTUS on tariffs.
As a firm believer in free trade, free markets, free enterprise and the benefits of international commerce, I abhor any trade policy based on tariffs and trade wars and the failed protectionist agenda of the AFL-CIO/big labor fatcats of the last 70 years.
I would like nothing less for all tariffs to be sh-t canned and have the US as a beacon of free trade in the world instead of the “we are an island, let’s kill international commerce” mentality.
However, I don’t believe the tariffs are illegal, I do think the administration has the right to implement them, as opposed to just considering them self defeating and wrong.
So I am forced to hope SCOTUS rules the right way and that the administration would then reverse this horrible policy on its own.
People, especially children, are going to die because of this.”
I am not so sure. About 3 in 1000 children have any complications from chicken pox, deaths are much rarer. And there are rare complications from the vaccine too, like meningitis.
’10 federal judges gave anonymous quotes to NBC News about how they are mad at the Supreme Court for constantly ruling against them. According to the judges, the Supreme Court is “making it seem like they did shoddy work and are biased against Trump.”‘
So Federal judges are whining to the far left media, but no, they are not biased.

I think weβve gone a little overboard on required vaccines for children and we need to study the side effects.
To contrast this from when Bitter and I were young men – Every baby today is given about 70 doses of 16 mandatory vaccines (per CDC). How did babies survive in the 1980s with about half the doses of only 7 vaccines?
We did just fine back then and I think we were healthier, but thatβs just anecdotal from my family experience. I totally agree we should leave the decision up to the parents on most of these new vaccines
Looking at portions of the βKennedy inquisition.β The Dems must have had a memo telling them to rage, using the word βscienceβ ad nauseam, to rebuke Kennedyβs efforts to reform the CDCβs unimpressive history at keeping chronic disease at bay. They try inserting βdemocracy,β as a similar sign of their seriousness, when railing against those who actually do support free speech and individual rights. I think Kennedy was well prepared with cogent replies to their grueling and oftentimes untrue accusations.
And if the parents choose to not vaccinate, it is their child who bears the consequences. Personally, I never objected to any vaccine for my children. The more the better. They were fine.
π¨ Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. nuked Senator Ron Wyden today.
"You've sat in that chair for how long, 20, 25 years? While chronic disease in our children went up to 76%, and you said nothing. You never asked the question, 'Why is this happening?'"
If a parent can choose to transition a 5 year old in most States, permanently scarring that child, Iβm all for letting parents decide which vaccines to forego and deciding which side effects are worth risking. We did just fine without chicken pox vaccines or Gardasil for possible HPV, among the numerous additional ones added since the 1980s, when all of this ramped up. .
π¨ WOW! Sec. RFK Jr. just exposed we were "LIED TO about EVERYTHING" during COVID.
"We were lied to about natural immunity. We were told the vaccines would PREVENT transmission. They'd prevent infection. They knew it wasn't true from the START."pic.twitter.com/bdvXwgkdPn
I had chickenpox, measles, pertussis, scarlet fever, German measles, mumps, you name it.
And that was a good thing?”
It was considered part of growing up. It probably provided a lot of natural immunity and nobody I knew had any long term consequences. Scarlet fever does have risks, it can damage your heart, but funny enough there is no vaccine for it.
If I had a choice as a parent now, I would choose for my kids to go ahead and have most of those except for mumps which can have some serious (rare) complications such as infertility.
I would go ahead with vaccines for polio, small pox and meningitis. At that time you only got vaccinated for tetanus if you were exposed to it (rusty nails, etc.) and same for diphtheria (after floods for example), so I would skip those until necessary.
Senate Republicans may finally have had enough of unprecedented Democratic obstructionism. The Democrats have required a lengthy process of cloture and final passage votes for every single nominee, grinding the Senate to a halt and keeping hundreds of qualified nominees from getting on the job now well into Trumpβs term.
