Looking out the window this morning…
So far, 2025 looks a whole lot similar to 2024.

In my dream last night/this morning… it included:
— visiting at my wife at the school where she worked (she has been retired since 2016)
–my dear mother-in-law (who died 15 years ago)
–my father (who died in 1983)
–and our second dog (who died 40th years ago)
–and living in our previous home (which we moved out of 5 years ago).
The dream was mostly about pleasant things.
But there were some slight conflicts such as not being able to get my wife to see what was in a 3-D picture, deciding where to go swimming, could not find my dog to take him outside to go to the bathroom, mistakenly picking the small tomatoes off my mother-in-laws porch plant because I thought they were small apples.

No, Sears has no shot. Okay, here is her one path:
Trump guts the federal government so that half the population of communist Northern Virginia goes back to the Chicago and LA cesspools from where they came, and MAGA voters show up to the polls instead of being AWOL like they were in 2018 and 2022.
But as it is, we were over 200,000 votes short in the VA race for POTUS with Trump at the top of the ticket. Not sure how we close that gap without Trump on the ballot.
Youngkin only won because of the child abuse coverup scandal in Northern Virginia in 2021.

I think the first year of the new administration will be chaotic but productive. There will be plenty of dem blowback. But, this time around it will be expected and will be met with more resolute pushback. I think (hope) big government will have parts disassembled or reformed: the most egregious bad actors in Biden’s administration will be held accountable: Ukraine will have a negotiated peace, making Jason/Bitter unhappy; tactics aimed to shut businesses down again because of “pandemic” fears will fail; more populous leaders around the world will come into power; legacy news will cede importance to alternative news; most of Trump’s nominated cabinet will be approved, but not without Dems attempts to throw a monkey wrench into the process. My husband predicts there will be a USSR Trump in the future.
