Mark Lorenzo Villanueva, 28, of Long Beach, was arrested this morning on a federal complaint charging him with sending a dozen payments totaling more than $1,600 to ISIS, a foreign terrorist organization responsible for countless deaths across multiple continents”

    Curious about this.

Hey Bunu, when you send payments to ISIS how do you do it, do you just write ISIS on the check or do you direct debit from your accournt?

  7. The purported “pressure campaign” is likely the new DOJ probe into election practices. Here’s the Fox News version out this AM –

    excerpt-

Attorney General Pam Bondi has directed Department of Justice (DOJ) officials to probe election practices throughout the country as part of the Trump administration’s efforts to crack down on federal election laws.

The DOJ’s Civil Rights Division is largely leading the effort, which has involved seeking information from states about their election practices and voter registration lists, sometimes known as “voter rolls,” and placing an emphasis on identifying any noncitizens on them.

“Election integrity starts with clean voter rolls. That’s the foundation for secure elections,” a DOJ source told Fox News. “There’s been a culture of noncompliance from several states that don’t keep their roles updated. This DOJ is cracking down.”

We had a wonderful time. But we did have an adventure this morning when I discovered a 56″ rattlesnake coiled up right beside the home next to deck and between the house and vehicles in the driveway. Thick snake. 8 rattles. The guy who owns the property was the one who did the snake in with a hoe and a shovel. The decapitated snake body was still moving over an hour after it had its head removed. We buried the head and put a big stone slab over it so critters would not dig it up.

I cannot stress to you enough how earth-shattering it would be for the Supreme Court to strike down Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. The electoral cornerstone of the Postwar Liberal Consensus would be gone overnight, and with it, the Democratic Party’s ability to contest the House of Representatives as we know it. Between this and the potential mid-decade redistricting in a few other GOP-controlled states, Democrats would not be able to flip back the House of Representatives even if they ruthlessly gerrymandered every Republican out of California.
