The reason why the economy is still running hot is… In the past when the fed raised interest rates, they would slow credit and money growth (bc money creation came from private sector.)
Now days with >100% debt/gdp ratios, when they raise interest rates it actually increases the federal deficit/debt at a faster rate than private credit growth is slowed.
What i’m saying is raising rates has become stimulative…meaning there are no breaks on the system and nothing stops this train. As you can see payrolls came in hot this morning.

Just because someone doesn’t take sides or voice a strong opinion about a battle between two people doesn’t mean they are avoiding criticizing one or the other. I think there is more behind the Musk/Trump fight than what is so far being exposed. Consequently it’s probably more prudent to let it play out until more is revealed regarding what sparked this rather sudden rift.
I also want to add that JeffP seems to have done another 180 on Trump – first despising him before the election, then raining praise on him right after the election, and now returning to negatively speculating about Epstein, Rubio etc. anything that disses Trump’s presidency.
