Trump is focusing on cleaning DC up for the various events coming there that will have international attention. Martin, in a temporary position, has overseen a 25% decrease in crime already. He is known for his toughness and capability to get things done, being a perfect pick for the job he has been nominated by Trump to head. This is not an example of rubber stamping, but instead is an example of weakling Tillis probably caving under pressure from Dems who don’t want a strong man imposing law, order and fairness in a city known for being corrupt.

If the objective is to view the military as an optimal fighting force then transgenderism is an unnecessary distraction.
