I’m going to guess Greece.

Not Greece but a good guess

I’m positive I know this, but only because I’ve been there, so I won’t spoil it for others. The initials are C.M., and Greece was a good guess if just a little off.

GF, its not spoiling it to win the game. I am surprised to learn you have been there, few have.

also don’t forget the country or state must be named to win.

DW, it’s close to a ferry route, but if I say which one, it will give the country away. The striations of the rocks above the beach are what gave it away for me.

Gallipoli, Turkey.

it also shares the name of one of my favorite books.

bitter, also a good guess if you are thinking, Anzac Cove. But still a little too close to Greece

Or possibly Cape May, New Jersey

It really is remarkable how whatever picture I put up, someone sees a key clue and puts it together or someone else has been there. I could put up a picture of the blue sky, and someone would guess it right based on the hue of the blue and the angle of the light.

not Croatia or Montenegro or New Jersey, but that is three guesses.

Roberts and Barrett are more intelligent and more accomplished in their positions than the retired Federal worker ever was. No wonder Tina is so jealous.

…but I do agree with you that the memo from OPM is one of the best things I have seen in awhile. I can’t wait until Abood comes up at the Supreme Court – and we can get rid of all public sector unions.

About to leave for the night, and GF really won the contest anyway, but the picture above is that of the island Montecristo, an island belonging to ITALY, just off the west coast of the Italian peninsula. It was made famous by the book the Count of Monte Cristo, the place where the main character found the buried treasure that empowered him to take revenge on his enemies who imprisoned him only because he knew too much.

Slight fall. Going down 1 six inch step and landed hard. Now I feel a slight bump on side of knee. Not sure if it is a screw OR it was always there since the surgery and I never noticed it. Nothing to do until I get X-rays next week.

Sorry to hear this bl. Hope it’s nothing. Get some rest.

Hope so. I did look at my x-rays and it could be a screw in that area. But I don’t think what I did would shift it through bone. I hope I just never noticed it.

Bitter, was there a twist on the injured leg when you fell, or direct contact to the affected area. The walking boots are pretty strong, so I’d guess (and hope) it will be okay. It’s pretty hard to re-break parts that are held in place by steel.

“What may get the SCOTUS to act is self-interest against lower court judges who have taken to issue broad rulings that intrude upon what at one time was regarded as the exclusive authority of the High Court itself.”
-From Tina’s link….
I mentioned this earlier this week or last week – right now, 1 district court judge has more power than any Supreme Court Justice – one lowly district court judge can stop a policy from being implemented.
Can 1 Supreme Court Justice do that??

Yikes, Bitterlaw, very sorry to hear about another fall. Keep fighting. I wish you well.

I sat down more than fell. No twisting in boot. Hoping for the boot.
