I fully support Trump’s agenda as it pertains to lower taxes, energy independence, rebuilding the military, DOGE, conservative judges, war on wokism, closing the border, deporting criminals, support for Israel, destroying the Houthis, and several other items.
I don’t support his trade policy of stupid tariffs and trade wars and so far I think his efforts towards peace in Ukraine are way too favorable to Russia. I don’t support impeaching judges with whom Trump does not agree with their rulings and I think fighting with Roberts and the SC is a losing proposition for him. As happened many times in his first term, Trump has a tendency to make enemies of people he will need later to support him and where there is no upside to the fight.
If that is not “support” enough for Trump’s agenda, Chicon can GFH.

I don’t support the ruling at all. I agree these judges are political hacks. I agree their intent is to delay Trump’s agenda.
But impeaching them won’t change their rulings. Won’t expedite appeals. Won’t even succeed because the Senate won’t convict even if you get the House to agree.
The only avenue is to file the appropriate appeals AND try to get them expedited.
The judges can be reprimanded, sanctioned or even disbarred by the judicial system itself. But remember 20 years of Obama, Clinton and Biden appointees have filled the higher courts with these typed of judges too.
So think about that next time you support the deadenders and the Kari Lakes for the Senate which votes on these judges.

This is certainly more “fertile ground” as Roy puts it, it would actually accomplish something rather than the impeachment grandstanding.

Impeachment will not work.
Political activity by judges deserves political pressure in return. I would load up on that. If some Congressman wants to haul him in to answer questions about courts using their power in a political fashion, I won’t get the vapors like Jason and Bitter.
DeSantis has some good ideas (previously discussed here) to clip the wings of these judges. I’d try those, too.
Trump should publicly call out every stupid example. The judges are acting politically, no crying about return fire. No free lunch.

Ok, so here is the problem, bitter. After you made the changes, posting required a log in. In order to get a login, you need to give an email address and then post a username. So, I created a burner email using the Alias “Mordecai Jones” and proceeded to try and use the username Fla2025, which I’ve been putting at the bottom of my posts since coming here 2 weeks ago. It turns out someone has already registered that user name. I tried multiple iterations and all were surprisingly claimed. So, it gave me the option of posting with my burner email address , which I did. The new user name seems to add digits at the end but it works. So, if this is the new process here now, I’ll continue posting like this

I would think that if Congress strips the district courts of their jurisdiction on certain laws, that the result would be it would get to the Supreme Court more quickly, in effect allowing the SC to be the co-equal branch it is supposed to be in a more timely fashion.

I’ve seen the suggestion that cases of this type have a three judge panel at the district court level. Apparently, this was the case in the past (ending in the 70’s, I believe).

My experience is that cases are assigned randomly so you can pick where you file but not what Judge gets the case.
