So Congress should subpoena every Judge who disagrees with Trump? That’s going to take up a lot of time and effort. I would prefer tax cuts but Tina has other priorities.
Why? You hate Zelensky. You want Secret Service protection pulled for Hunter. I don’t know how many of the children of former Presidents keep that protection but you will welcome bad consequences for Hunter. I just am tired of hearing his name.

Children of former presidents up to the age of 16 are assured protection under the new law.
If a President doesn’t have the right to throw murderers, and other criminals, out of our Country because a Radical Left Lunatic Judge wants to assume the role of President, then our Country is in very big trouble, and destined to fail!
Other than the birthright citizenship issue, what part of Trump’s agenda needs any approval from SCOTUS? Tax cuts? Cutting spending? Getting rid of the Dept of Education?”
All of it, moron.
The Dems will challenge all of it.
They are already challenging the spending cuts and the Dept of Education.
He will also want them to rule against the rogue judges, but for that they need to agree to take up the cases on an emergency basis.
Maybe instead of implementing Trump’s agenda, Congress should focus on subpoenas and impeachment proceedings for every judge where they disagree with the ruling.
It will SEND A MESSAGE, although the Senate will not convict any of them.
The Cultists will be happy, and the Dems will be ecstatic.
A good, if lengthy discussion of removing judges is in the annotated Concsitution on the Congress.gov web site:
Further, leaving aside whether the Good Behavior Clause establishes a separate standard for removal independent from high crimes and misdemeanors, historical conflicts between Congress and the Judiciary may inform the outer limits of what the Good Behavior Clause entails. For instance, in 1804 Jeffersonian Republicans attempted to remove Supreme Court Chief Justice Samuel Chase, who they viewed as openly partisan and biased against their party.10 The allegations against Chief Justice Chase included that he acted in an arbitrary, oppressive, and unjust manner at trial, misapplied the law, and expressed partisan political views to a grand jury.11 The attempt failed, and Congress has never removed a federal judge for disagreement with the law’s application or because of difference in political views. Based on this historical practice, the good behavior standard arguably guards against the removal of a federal judge for disagreement with the law’s interpretation or political disagreements.
That is trumps opinion, a free speech argument. However,he andsouer 2.0 have no say. Congress can force the terrorist supporting judge to appear; eliminate the court entirely; and do impeachment. Souter can cry for his bestie.
🚨 BREAKING: Attorney General Pam Bondi has just issued a scathing court filing rejecting the notion – from Judge Boasberg – that the judiciary is superior to the president when it comes to foreign policy.
Maybe Trump should find a judge to issue a TRO against continued funding of Ukraine. I’m sure the months/years until the funding is restored will be of no consequence.
Lunatic District Judge James Boasberg ordered President Trump to turn over national security details on illegal migrant flights to Latin America by noon Wednesday.
Boasbreg is demanding national security details from President Trump on the routes and times of his flights of violent illegal aliens to El Salvador and Latin America.
George Moose, the president of the U.S. Institute of Peace, locked himself in the building after DOGE fired & ordered him to leave. D.C. police eventually gained entry and removed him. These people genuinely believe they are entitled to be in government forever at our expense.
A district judge in Portland just reversed Trump’s agreement with Putin for a 30-day ceasefire. “The war must continue,” he wrote. “Any peace that might have already taken place must be reversed.”
Typically, taking the side of a communist dictator like Putin and agreeing that”Russia has never been the problem. America has been the problem” would sound more like a leftist than a conservative or a Republican.
“I find it hard to believe that a district judge believed he is empowered to overrule the defense department and homeland security on matters related to national security on a preliminary basis with planes in the air.
These were migrants here illegally believed to be members of the most dangerous gangs being sent to their home countries where they could be properly adjudicated.
He could well have halted future flights or asked the DOJ to request the home countries to hold these migrants but ordering the defense department flights in mid air in international airspace is incredible chutzpah that implies powers to mere district judges beyond anthing that is reasonable. And it is rewarding forum shopping in the extreme. Find a judge anywhere in the US and they now have even international authority with instant orders.
The higher courts have to rein in these district court judges whose districts they claim is now the entire world and adopt the orderly systems of adjudication of urgent matters that includes supervision of these judges and requires at least circuit court of approval of orders that go beyond their districts.”

Actually yes.
I fully support Trump’s agenda as it pertains to lower taxes, energy independence, rebuilding the military, DOGE, conservative judges, war on wokism, closing the border, deporting criminals, support for Israel, destroying the Houthis, and several other items.
I don’t support his trade policy of stupid tariffs and trade wars and so far I think his efforts towards peace in Ukraine are way too favorable to Russia. I don’t support impeaching judges with whom Trump does not agree with their rulings and I think fighting with Roberts and the SC is a losing proposition for him. As happened many times in his first term, Trump has a tendency to make enemies of people he will need later to support him and where there is no upside to the fight.

More lies by the Cultist.
I don’t support the ruling at all. I agree these judges are political hacks. I agree their intent is to delay Trump’s agenda.
But impeaching them won’t change their rulings. Won’t expedite appeals. Won’t even succeed because the Senate won’t convict even if you get the House to agree.
The only avenue is to file the appropriate appeals AND try to get them expedited.
The judges can be reprimanded, sanctioned or even disbarred by the judicial system itself. But remember 20 years of Obama, Clinton and Biden appointees have filled the higher courts with these typed of judges too.

So, if this is the new process here now, I’ll continue posting like this
I do not agree with DeSantis about pulling jurisdiction from judges. Dangerous precedent to be used by Dems when it serves their ends the next time a Dem is President. It is just another tactic like FDR’s court packing to make the President superior to the Judicial branch
I would think that if Congress strips the district courts of their jurisdiction on certain laws, that the result would be it would get to the Supreme Court more quickly, in effect allowing the SC to be the co-equal branch it is supposed to be in a more timely fashion.
Throughout the hearing, Howell repeatedly emphasized the appalling treatment of the people who worked at USIP. But she ultimately said there are serious questions about USIP's structure that suggest Trump may have authority to do what he did. She will expedite case. pic.twitter.com/Pb8ov6rVV7
No. SCOTUS has 9 Justices and I think each has 3 clerks. Eliminating an entire level of the Judiciary is not expediting anything. It is strangling the system.
Bitter, I assume we all agree that there’s some forum (and judge shopping) going on.
I’ve seen the suggestion that cases of this type have a three judge panel at the district court level. Apparently, this was the case in the past (ending in the 70’s, I believe).

Very funny, Chicon.
I think I figured this out. I went into the profile at the top right and changed the public viewing name. Let’s see if this works

I do not agree with DeSantis about pulling jurisdiction from judges. Dangerous precedent to be used by Dems when it serves their ends the next time a Dem is President. It is just another tactic like FDR’s court packing to make the President superior to the Judicial branch

DeSantis is a clown.
He’s trying to put his wife in as gov now.

Bitterlaw – could you explain that further.
I would think that if Congress strips the district courts of their jurisdiction on certain laws, that the result would be it would get to the Supreme Court more quickly, in effect allowing the SC to be the co-equal branch it is supposed to be in a more timely fashion.
is that incorrect?

What are your thoughts?

My experience is that cases are assigned randomly so you can pick where you file but not what Judge gets the case.
